So this can work? Thanks for the heads up quote author=Sumji post=91230144]I overcame this concern by simply opening a pounds sterling account. If you already have a dollar account (mine is GTB), all you need is go to the bank with a valid ID and fill 'Additional account' form. Within 24hrs you'd get your pounds sterling account number. Anyhow the pounds wants to rise or fall, doesn't change the value in your account.
Can someone shed more light for me on y people seldom marry outside the country, but comes back home to get a wife? Am at de verge of making a decision, but I don't know what to do. Am confused to be honest |
@mimi...I swear down, I must do that mimilyrics postMy email is on 247. You won't escape buying me that drink. Lol!
So true bro, she's kind hearted... Note: I have promised to hang out with her once my legs steps into the uk, this sept2020. @ mimilyrics, abeg keep ur phones on' and ur email accessible. Thanks for all ur input's here I was delighted when mimilyrics returned from her Nairaland ‘sabbatical’. This is the reason. She dots the I’s and crosses the T’s. It’s either she ‘jumps & pass’ or she provides answers. If she decides to provide answer, she researches Merriam Webster, Encyclopaedia Brittanica, Oxford advanced learners dictionary. She adds that up with Google Scholar (not to be confused with the usual google). She seeks for solutions from only peer-reviewed papers in internationally-renowned journals. Then she provides comprehensive answer. All this, for £0.0000 Girl, you rock! Well done
@fairee...am present.. Was looking for anyone as well, but as travel buddy and roomy quote author=Faireee post=91014332]Good morning, please anyone resuming Bournemouth University this September?
Latito442, will surely and definitely meet u in UK, Jah's willing, this August... quote author=mimilyrics post=90585056] Drop a line anytime you're in London.
@mimilyrics... I know am owing u.. In fact drop where to meet u up for ur chill origin bitters beer Yes, they are different. UCAS is an application portal for undergraduate and some postgraduate courses. CAS is a unique number/document issued to you to support your student visa application.
@mimilyrics.. Thanks for the Clarification's. So UCAS is quite different from cas? Simply means that your hub accessibility will be partially unavailable (including for the use of clearance checks) because the hub will be used for the UCAS result process during the times stated. The result process might put a strain on the facility/application which is why other services will be disabled at the time. If you have any questions about it, ask your school.
Saw this in my school hub, pls what does it mean.
Hopefully, u were able to notify them of the poorer network in this part of the world Aprokodaughter Are you not staying in Nigeria? LMAO Network was horrible...breaking. Sometimes the network will just log me out.I wasn't hearing whatever the lecturer and staff was saying thanks to Nigerian network. See me carrying my phone close to my ear like a gateman listening to news because I couldn't hear. and I had to use just audio instead of using video and audio. The audio was still bad
Thanks to skymoore and @justwise for the response to my query. Am grateful for de head's up, I now knw what to do and expect |
My brothers and sisters. Pls if for any reasons, after the 28days, and after the visa application and lodgement, the amount gets to reduced either as a result of currency fluctuations or human factors (using the money small). Will this leads to visa refusal or denial? Thanks as am anticipating a response |
@mimilyrics.. Thanks for the heads up. Yes, bank statements are checked for self-funded students (it has to be the student's account or an account belonging to the student's parents/guardians). This is to verify that the student has the funds to pay for his/her course and that whatever financial document is submitted to UKVI doesn't get rejected for falling short of the UKVI rules. Students who are in receipt of a full scholarship from official financial sponsors are required to only show a sponsorship letter or an approved loan letter from qualified financial institutions (for those taking loans). The school will request for this too before CAS is issued to avoid a situation where it doesn't meet UKVI rules.
Please if it all uni that required a 28days statement before issuing cas? |
