RomanceRe: Nigerian Lady Is Preserving Her Virginity For Her Husband (Photos) by LaudableXX: 12:46am On Feb 26, 2018
PrettyCrystal:
While some may say that being a virgin is due to the lack of opportunity, a young lady has revealed why she is preserving herself. According to Chinenye Nwaeze, a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra state - she is keeping her virginity for her future partner because it is the biggest 'gift a lady can give to her husband'.

The young made the revelation on Facebook. She wrote;

Virginity. Is. The. Biggest. Gift. A. Girl. Can. Give. To. Her. Husband... That's. Why. Am. Keeping. My. Own. For. My. Husband.

Well said... brilliant!

In the last 8 years now, I have read of more young Nigerians who spent up to N5 million or more to study in the UK... up to the Masters level with nothing to show for it!

It would have been better to invest that money in a business that would bring in returns and are in demand with increasing global population.

Think agribusiness, Uber/Taxify investments, etc.

All the best.
Well said!! In fact, I have circulated the OP's post to several of my friends who are thinking of going abroad for higher education. Let us hope they are careful enough, to take stock of the current situation and make the best choice for themselves.

Keep trying you eventual get your head around it, couldn't make myself any clearer.
The reason for your your distress and irritation is clearer now...it is because people have taken potshots at your dear beloved UK govt, because of its policies. Afterall, the UK govt is perfect and can do no wrong in your eyes...not so? shocked

At least those Nigerians are happy with British govt grin grin
Oh, you didn't see the word 'restricted', before you went up in arms all over this thread.... huffing and puffing and trying to defend the UK govt's policies? I dey laugh.... cheesy Ok, I hope the UK govt gives you an award for the way you have defended them, on this thread. Next!

Duh! sad The chances are very slim, and the opportunity to get a job is only restricted to a few who have studied medicine, engineering, IT-related courses etc., and NOT to most people who come to study in the UK. Duh!!

The problem is that the entire thread was pointless in the first place. The thread started as a screed about how England has restricted access to the job market for international students who have spent millions to acquire an education... hmmm when did England owe you the right to live and work within its borders? Hasn't that ALWAYS been clearly spelled out during the visa application process?
Ooops! Here comes another defender of the British universe and its sibling, the UK government. undecided This thread is NOT pointless. It is meant to educate and inform people, about what happens next after they have acquired those pricey degrees, from UK universities. If after reading over 18 pages of valid points from the OP, and different counter-arguments from others, you have NOT been able to decode the reason for the thread, then please go back to one of your UK schools and kindly take a refresher course in comprehension.

Yes that is why you should read read and read then PLAN!!! before you invest your money either in education or business.

Did you do your research before coming to the UK?

You have no right to insult the British govt because they are not under any obligation to provide job for you.

You pay the school fees and you get the qualification..end of the deal, whatever comes after that is just act of generosity.
All hail the defender of the British universe!! cheesy

I am still trying to find out the reason for your angst. undecided The OP as well as a few others have made their points clear, about how the lack of job opportunities in the the UK after graduation, does not make studying in the UK an attractive option, especially after paying those huge fees for their degree programmes - degrees which could also be acquired elsewhere, at a cheaper cost.

Probably because UK schools do NOT stress this aspect enough during the application process, a lot of people may still have a wrong impression about the possibilities of working there, after graduation. Now that a searchlight is being beamed on this aspect, some of you chaps are getting worked up because you see it as a slight on your dear revered Great Britain. Why? huh I believe all schools should include a caveat in their prospectus/brochure that says international students will NOT get jobs on graduation, except if they have studied medicine or engineering. That way, everyone is on the same page.... sad my 2 cents!

Aphrodite007:
They are not stupid, the same way you know that it didn’t work out for me is how they would know.

Until the UK relaxes their sponsorship requirements and increases the sponsorship slots for organisations, it should be the last destination for all Nigerian students! And bet me, they would relax the employment laws because they need the internationals students to keep going to their country.

Cheers!
Yeah....attending UK schools should NOT be a priority for Nigerian students at this time, especially when there are equally good and cheaper alternatives in other countries. undecided

Aphrodite007:
You see what you did here? This is exactly what saouri and I are doing. We are telling prospective students not to bother going to the UK if they intend to work. I don’t think it’s fair for anybody to backlash at us, most especially if they got into the UK before the post study visa was withdrawn or are working in the med field. There is nobody that wants to go to school because it’s sweet, we all do it to land a job. We aren’t being entitled by feeling bad that we couldn’t get to work in the UK, after all, if our country was any better, would we troop into the UK in he first place?

The point is to create awareness (quite frankly I am tired of saying this) about the near-impossibility of getting a job there. Simple. Let people be aware of this then make up their minds on whether it’s worth the investment or not. I getting irritated at the condescending remarks I’m seeing on the thread!

You may have a point.
If we were forward looking, we would be making arrangements to replace all conventional cars with electric vehicles. It is actually more feasible in Africa than elsewhere because we don't have a large committed infrastructure.
Where is the electricity to power them, going to come from? In my area, there has been only 2 hours of electricity in the past 3 days.

Secondly, those Nissan people goofed when they scrapped the Xterra model. That SUV is quite good for Nigerian terrain.

Samuel Ortom, Benue state Governor.

Yahaya Bella, Kogi state Governor
Both of them should be flogged, but Yahaya Bello should be given more serious strokes of the cane. angry The guy is a narcissistic, clueless, bumbling, inept jerk! Nothing ventured, nothing gained should be his slogan, as he has done nothing to uplift the citizens of his state! angry

His state has the worst dilapidated network of bad roads, the largest batch of unemployed people, the largest salary arrears owed workers, the most ill-equipped medical clinics, and one of the most insecure places to stay, within Nigeria. Essentially, MTN bought 9mobile because teleology is a pawn to MTN.
Where is your proof?? shocked huh

Some people are still searching the internet for those behind Teleology when MTN is clearly written all over the company. Teleology is MTN and MTN is teleology.

Belovedbabs11:
You wanna have a 2-year experience before you run your masters? Good! But are you gonna employ yourself or what gives you the assurance you gonna grab any job out there even in the next 2 years? Don't be shocked if you plan to work first and after five years you haven't got any job. So, you lose "double" - no job/experience, no second degree.
The best thing you have gotta do is sit yourself down, map out your plans. You might even not use the the masters degree, but it's not gonna be a waste. It's highly probably that an average person will regret not running their masters ASAP than regret doing it earlier. Just follow your heart.

The same way Bill Gates stopped working for microsoft or Kachikwu stopped working for shell.
Open your eyes.
This comment you made here, makes you look daft. sad Adrian Wood was an employee of MTN, recruited by the head office of MTN South Africa to join their Nigerian subsidiary. He is not the founder of MTN. He was posted to Nigeria as the second MD of MTN Nigeria to kick start the GSM launch for the company, in Nigeria. And he did a good job. When his contract expired, he left MTN Nigeria and went to start up his own firm, Brymedia. So stop spreading rumours about what you do not know.

Bill Gates is one of the founders of Microsoft, and still has substantial individual shares in the firm. undecided In 2014, Bill Gates, Microsoft co-founder, left his role as Chairman of the board, to take on a new role as “Founder and Technology Advisor” at Microsoft, so he is still involved in the firm in some way. This is totally different from Adrian Wood's case, who does not have any role to play in MTN Nigeria, anymore. Unless you can prove that MTN has substantial shares in Teleology or that Wood was their proxy in this deal, please keep quiet so that you would not be mistaken for a dimwit. shocked

Finally, Kachikwu never worked for Shell. So stop saying what you do not know. angry He only worked for Mobil as the Executive Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Exxon Mobil (Africa). He left that role to join the board of NNPC, first as GMD and later as Chairman of the board.

MTN couldn't compete in an open fair bid, they had to buy 9mobile through the "teleology holdings"
