Stop saying nonsense, do you what it means for a state government to join traditional institutions to play petty politics, do Yorubas in Kogi consult Nupe people before coronating their kings
Stop yarning rubbish. In every state, there is a govt ministry that oversees chieftaincy affairs and local govt matters. There are different ethnic groups in Kogi state, and all of them have their traditional appointments gazetted by the govt. Nobody from either the Ebira, or Igala or Yoruba, or Nupe or any other ethnic group can wake up one morning and decide to crown anybody as a traditional ruler of any community. There is a detailed process to follow.

the issue here is that your kinsmen are denying the fact that ijaw are indigenous to your state, if you read from the comments you will see where some re saying ijaw have no land in bini which is a pure lie.

Yes due process should be follow but edo should not think they own it all, from the reaction of the state government I don't think they are ready to acknowledge the new pere/king.

the ijaws in ondo got their own king
the ijaws in Delta got their own king
while will the ijaws in edo be under the oba ?
How does that sound?
Guy, who are my kinsmen? Do you think am Edo? Am not. All I can say is that the traditional Ijaw monarchs in Ondo and Delta did not just wake up one morning to declare themselves as the rulers in their area. A process was followed. Did the Ijaw in Edo State follow the same process?? The people of Auchi in Edo State have their own monarch, and the Oba of Benin has never interfered with them for one day.

Good point but do you know that if IPOB wins governorship or any seat, part of the process of starting the position is to be sworn into office. The swearing oath requires you to pledge allegiance and defend the unity of Nigeria.

That can be a ground for the federal government to send troops to kill or arrest the senator or governor or any political leader. That's part of the reason IPOB decided to stay away from politics.
Then you are not ready to actualise Biafra. In other countries, where the move for independence was made, some of those calls were made by political leaders of those ethnic groups who were sitting officials that had pledged allegiance to the host country. When Scottish people pushed for a referendum, who brought the clamour to the forefront? Nicola Sturgeon who was a member of parliament. Didn't she pledge allegiance to Great Britain, United Kingdom and the Queen, when she was being sworn in? In Catalonia, who appointed the leader of that region?

The Parliament of Catalonia unilaterally and illegally declared independence from Spain on 27 October 2017 with a vote of 70–10, and purported to form the Catalan Republic.

No it wont be easy because majority of voting power in the house and senate lies with the north. They don't want or support anything that will break Nigeria up. It was designed that way by the northern military generals who handed us our current constitution.
Am talking about within the SE. All the houses of assemblies in the SE states, would be a good start for IPOB. By the time the IPOB candidates get to the red and green chamber, they can lobby the Northern and Western counterparts to support them. If a case for referendum can be built at regional level within the SE house of assemblies, then half of the battle is won.

The problem with IPOB acolytes, is that they do not know to build beneficial relationships, bridges, and associations with people from other ethnic groups, in order to get them to see things from their own point of view. Hate speeches and inflammatory rhetoric, cannot go far in the political world.

jamb office queens drive ikoyi Nnewi house apapa St Patrick primary school idumagbo pls let's not go there if know how many houses Western government stole from ojukwus family u won't say this, do u know when queen Elizabeth visited Nigeria for first time ojukwus father gave Nigerian government his rolls Roy's for queen to to parade with, how many house ur village get for ikoyi in the 60s?
Guy, abeg stop your propaganda. The list of Ojukwu's properties in Ikoyi is in public domain. They are very few. So how can you say he owned almost all the properties in Ikoyi? shocked

Do you know how big Ikoyi is? How many streets and houses are in old Ikoyi? From Bourdillon Road, to Kingsway Road, Bank Road, Glover, Bedwell, Cooper Road, Milverton, Lugard, MacPherson, Probyn, Adeyemi Lawson, Cameron Road, Turnbull, Osborne, Rumens, Webb Road, Queens Drive, Temple, Forsberry, Ilabere, McDonald, Oroke drive, Shaw Road, Mulliner, Gerrard, Alexander Road, Reeve Road, Moseley, Hawksworth, Ruxton, Rumsey, Thompson Avenue, etc. It is a big district. How many houses did Ojukwu's father own? huh

At least when Dim Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu went to court to claim his late father's properties back from govt, everything was listed out. So why are you exaggerating that Ojukwu's father owned almost the whole of Ikoyi? Or did they tell you Idumagbo and Apapa are inside Ikoyi?

What do you suggest then?
Let IPOB put its people into strategic positions within the political parties. Can you imagine what would happen if House of Reps members and Senatorial seats from the SE are filled with IPOB acolytes? Wouldn't it be easier to push a bill for referendum through such the legislature?

if the ijaws should attack, believe me u can't stand the heat.. live and let's live biko.

I still suggest they curve the ijaw and Itsekiri towns in edo back to Delta, una own too much.
Listen, I get where you are coming from. sad But there is a proper process and procedure for everything. How can a traditional ruler be crowned without the approval of the Chairman of Traditional rulers in the state, and the knowledge of the govt ministry in charge of such chieftaincy and traditional affairs? It means anyone on every street can wake up tomorrow, and crown monarchs for themselves. It will lead to confusion. Such things should pass through the appropriate quarters, and be properly thrashed out.

maybe u dont know that igbos are still learners where yorubas are cos yorubas are grabbin kwara and kogi states..so igbos are following there footsteps.
Maybe repeating these lies makes you feel good about yourself. The areas in Kogi and Kwara that the Yoruba lay claim to, are the ancestral lands of Yoruba communities within those areas. Such areas or communities with Kogi and Kwara states, are not occupied by people of other ethnic groups, except the Yoruba groups themselves.

Unlike your people that are laying claim to Lagos, which is not their ancestral land.

now my question is between yorubas and igbos, wo are land grabbers?
Igbo are the land grabbers. They have started laying claims to Lagos, in the same way they laid claims to Port-harcourt, which is a city jointly owned by the Ikwerre and the Ijaw people.

You started the abuse. First you used the word "bastard son." I merely returned the favour by letting you know the name suited you perfectly. Now, you have called yourself an educated illiterate. And I agree that description fits you well. I do not exchange words with people like you that do not know anything, but how to insult others. I only exchange views with civil people. Now, swerve.
