Of course you stole your nationality! The word 'Nigerian' was first used by Flora Shaw (Lugards future wife) when she worked as a journalist with a London based newspaper. She later passed the name to Lugard. So how are you answering a name that was invented in London by Europeans? You stole the name they invented, you stole the country they created.

You 'Nigerians' are quite lucky that Lugard and his wife are dead. If they were alive, the could have taken you all to court for copyright theft.
Do you know the meaning of the word 'stole', or is this comment of yours', a new propaganda invented by your IPOB crew? shocked

If I give a name to something I found, and everyone around me decides to call that thing the same name I gave to it, is that 'stealing?' Did Shaw and Lugard state that the name Nigeria, could not be used to address the citizens of that area they had named? Why do you chaps like to stand logic on its' head, like this? cheesy You know what? Never mind....

You most definitely are an Igbo hater and from what I've been told by other veteran posters on here, you've been hating on Igbo people since before IPOB was even established so how is it possible that you're an IPOB hater and not an Igbo hater?

Btw, I'm only mentioning you here to show those gullible Igbos who still believe this "I hate IPOB, not Igbo" rhetoric that many Nigerians like to use. If this poster, who is our resident anti-Igbo stalker, can claim to be an IPOB-hater rather than the fully blown Igbo-hater that he is, then it instantly puts anyone who says the same under suspicion.

Young dreams is cool tho but i barely follow it...same as twist of fate... cheesy
Today's episode of Twist of Fate was funny. Sammy kept coaching Raghav on how to react to Kalpana. He got Raghav to ignore her totally, until she became confused & dumbstruck. Here comes Sammy - the Love Coach! cool Sahil & Neetu Kapoor abducted the woman with memory loss (who actually happens to be Raghav's long lost mother), but she was rescued in the nick of time by the police. Unfortunately, the perpetrators escaped. When will the hands of the law catch up with Neetu and her husband? huh

Jia & Kshom finally got married in Sands of Time, and Shekar was taken back to the cell to serve out his jail term. In prison, he gets to meet Manas his former friend, (who had teamed up with Ruby his criminally-minded mum), to defraud Shekar's family of their business and properties. Shekar mocks Manas that his application for bail has been denied 4 times, so he would rot in jail. And that statement got me confused. Manas and Ruby have been tried in court and imprisoned. Can a person who has been sentenced by a judge still apply for bail, while he is serving a prison term in jail?? huh I don't get it, o! shocked

As for Gunjan in Young Dreams, her plan or attempt to hire actors pretending to be robbers to scare her family, backfires. Instead of getting actors, she ends up with ruthless escapee prisoners, who are on the run. Those weapon-wielding guys take the family hostage and lock them up. But the annoying person in the whole drama was Mayank. angry He was the one who received the call from the genuine actors on Gunjan's phone, which made him realise the wrong set of people were holding his family hostage. Yet, he could not use the same phone to call the police for help, while he was in hiding? Chai! sad Common sense is truly not common.

Roshni & Sid in King of Hearts are beginning to annoy me. Today's episode contained the same crap about the Joker! Siddarth caught the Joker, and instead of unmasking him or giving him a few solid punches to immobilise him, he started asking the guy some useless questions. Of course, the chap got away using a different trick. Sid has been behaving rather stupidly for an enlightened person.... undecided Can't anyone knock some sense into his head?

I maintain that these moribund companies where forced by Awo as minister of finance to sell FG 's shares to yorubas post-war who took over and sent them into extinction. No one cam revise that history.
You made some baseless assertions, and efforts were made to correct your erroneous views, but you have refused to accept the truth. shocked

The only moribund company in that list you posted, was Stationery Stores. It was set up by the Adebajo family, not the FG. And it went into extinction, because its' founder the late Chief Israel Adebajo died, and his children fought over the family business. The FG did not own shares in it, and Awo did not sell it to the Yorubas. sad

Leventis Group is still alive and kicking. It only closed down its retail arm (i.e. the stores section) when it no longer became profitable due to falling exchange rate and poor commercial performance. Other arms of the Leventis Group are still in active operation, and doing quite well. So how is it moribund? And how exactly did Awo sell FG's shares in Leventis to make it go into extinction? huh

The same thing applies to Kingsway. UAC owned the Kingsway stores and its' brand. But when the store started recording low sales, losses and poor operational performance, UAC decided to close the retail section, but kept the coffee outlets which it renamed Kingsway Rendezvous. After rebranding Kingsway Rendezvous, it became Mr. Biggs outlets. Yet, you still believe it is moribund. sad

I will not even pass any further comments on Costain Plc, because its annual reports are there for all to see. It is one of the most actively traded stocks on the stock exchange.

Kingsway? Dead

Must you tell lies to get your point across to others? Kindly tell us how Awolowo 'stole' those companies listed up here, you liar. sad

Stationary Stores was founded by the late Chief Israel Adebajo, who ran the Nigeria office of the Stationery Stores Supply Company. So how was it stolen by Awolowo? huh

Leventis Plc formerly known as A.G. Leventis & Co. (Nig.) Ltd. commenced its commercial activities in Nigeria in 1922, when its first landed asset was acquired, that same year. This act together with the owner’s fascination with real estate led to the acquisition and development of many properties. In 1994, when the company became a public liability company, its property portfolio had gradually increased to 86 properties of variable sizes, degrees of development and uses, scattered all over the Federation. This led to the creation of a Real Estate Division to manage these properties in the best manner to suit the company’s operations, as well as profit generation. Today, Leventis owns other subsidiaries such as Chrisstahl Nigeria Ltd, Druckfarben Nigeria Ltd, Leventis Foods Ltd and Leventis Motors. Now let us know how Awo stole it and what year the company was declared 'dead', to use your own words. sad
THE history of A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc started when Chief Anastasios G. Leventis formed a trading company known as A.G. Leventis & Company Limited in Ghana, in 1937, to originally engage in agricultural produce buying, and importation and sale of textile goods.

The company later expanded into properties and general trading, especially, the sales and service of motor vehicles.

The company, in fact, restructured later devolved into Leventis Motors Limited (established in 1958), Leventis Stores Limited (1965), Leventis Technical Limited (1972), whilst it retained ownership of valuable freehold and leasehold property throughout the country.

Through mergers and acquisition schemes, the afore-mentioned companies merged with A. G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc. to become A.G. Leventis (AGL) Group. The group is a leading manufacturing and distribution corporation in West Africa. It provides a variety of products and services, in power and gas products, consumer food pastry and bakery products, real estate, hotelling, auto sales and after sales services and stationery supplies. https://guardian.ng/saturday-magazine/cover/forgotten-brides-companies-that-colonialisation-built-in-nigeria/
Lever Brothers Limited was renamed Unilever Plc. Today it is one of the most successful FMCG companies listed on the stock exchange. What exactly did Awolowo steal from it before he died, and what led to the so-called death of the company, like you erroneously claimed? undecided
Unilever Nigeria Plc, was incorporated as Lever Brothers (West Africa) Ltd on the 11th of April, 1923 but the company actually started with the founder’s trading interests in Nigeria and West Africa since the 19th century. Unilever Nigeria Plc started as a soap manufacturing company, and is today one of the oldest surviving manufacturing organizations in Nigeria.

After series of mergers/acquisitions, the company diversified into manufacturing and marketing of foods, non-soapy detergents and personal care products. These mergers/acquisitions brought in Lipton Nigeria Ltd in 1985, Cheesebrough Ponds Industries Ltd in 1988. The company changed its name to Unilever Nigeria Plc in 2001. Unilever Nigeria Plc is a public liability company quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange since 1973 with Nigerians currently having 49% of equity holdings. Unilever’s products covers Food Brands such as Blue Band, Knorr, Lipton, Royco, Personal Care Brands like Close up, Lifebuoy, Lux, Vaseline and Home Care Brands like Omo, Sunlight.

The head office is at No. 1, Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.projectlightupnigeria.com/corporate-nigeria/unilever.html
Costain West Africa Plc was incorporated in 1948. As a private limited company in Nigeria, it took over the various works being undertaken by John Holt and Company (Liverpool) Limited’s building department. The shares of the company are still being traded actively on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) even as we speak. So who killed it, and made you declare that it was dead?
Over the last 60 years, Costain West Africa Plc has executed a wide range of building and civil engineering projects, throughout Nigeria for private organizations, Federal and State Governments. It has been able to leverage the experience and strength of the Costain Group's worldwide activities. Costain West Africa Plc went public on the 13th of March, 1974. Its shares were quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) subsequently. Costain West Africa Plc was the first construction company to be quoted on the NSE. It is now independent of the Costain UK Group. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.projectlightupnigeria.com/corporate-nigeria/costain.html
Kingsway Stores was established by the United African Company (UAC) the British conglomerate. Kingsway was one of the largest departmental stores in the country during its time. The store brought in a mixture of general consumer goods and fabrics that were mostly common to western consumers. The company also created coffee outlet, which evolved into quick service restaurants.

In 1973, this coffee outlet was rebranded Kingsway Rendezvous. However, as a result of economic downturn of the 1980s, Kingsway stores wound up, but the Kingsway Rendezvous was retained and renamed Mr. Bigg’s. So kindly let us know what items the late Awo stole from the defunct Kingsway stores, that you had to malign his memory so badly.
The annexation of Lagos by colonial resource hunters presented opportunity for foreign merchants to invest in retail and merchandise outlets for their imports. However, the traditional open market system and fairs, like those in Mexico, proved to be a major competitor for the shops.

Therefore, a type of modern shop that later emerged was the departmental store — a large shop with sales upwards of £100,000. The first of such venture in Nigeria was Kingsway Stores, established in 1948. It was incorporated with an equity capital of about £4m. https://guardian.ng/saturday-magazine/cover/forgotten-brides-companies-that-colonialisation-built-in-nigeria/

I have to correct a nation which many of you foot soldiers don't seem to understand, since you're not all that smart.
1. I don't hate Igbos. I only hate the senseless ones who think the fall of Nigeria would give them satisfaction.
2. I hate the vain chest beating, the haughty pride and overloaded ego you foot soldiers display on here.

3. I hate the fact that you think someone who has a contrary opinion to yours is an enemy.

It is one thing a childhood friend shows concern about my well-being, it is another when someone who thinks I've been his enemy wakes up overnight and starts professing love for me. Explain please, why so you think I 'fear' Igbos? To what end?

I am fast beginning to think you lots surf the Internet from a single room using three keywords as your everyday discourse; Afonja, jealous, and coward. I must break your heart here while being blunt; there's nothing in the South East that is worth envying, at least not for me.

I have been to three South East states already, out of the five around and the patter seems to be the same - develop a particular area and leave the other areas looking like towns from the 80s. So what am I afraid or jealous of, please? Resources-wise, una no even reach.

Asari is the one bastard we have in the Delta, and note, his cash cow had long been shot down by Buhari and that explains the saying, the enemy of my enemy... All we call for is resource control and not secession.

I like the way you chant and pray Nigeria falls, yet claim you are innocent. It is very fascinating.

Please take these salient points with you;
1. Sanchez01 does not hate Igbos. He only hates our chest beating theatrics and how we think we are better than others.
2. Sanchez01 has nothing to fear, and has never seen a thing worth envying in all South East states combined.
3. The Isoko and the Urhobo nation would NEVER be a part of Biafra!
4. Kanu's new found love for the Edo nation is a sinister move, just as trying to woo the Urhobo, Isoko and Ijaw nation into Biafra just so they can access the seas for trade.
5. I strongly believe in Nigeria. So it is only natural that I hate secessionists who think ill of what I hold dear.

Count the Urhobo and Isoko nation out of your craze. Some Edo folks have supported your cause, which should be a huge plus. Take us out.

Watch the video and see for yourself that Kanu don't hate Binis neither is he a hater like you

The video confirms that he loves Edo people unlike you who hates and fear Igbos.

Fear only exist in the heart of NigerDeltans who are envious, jealous, hateful treacherous etc of the Igbos

Asari, loves Igbos because he doesn't envy, hate, jealous etc us

What of Briggs the white NigerDelta who has same spirit like Asari

Your hatred and fear of the innocent and great Igbos will be your undoing
Hate, kwa?? shocked How? huh You are the one that has chosen to ignore historical facts, by subscribing to a delusion. Since you are also the one who chose to use the words 'hate', 'fear' 'envy' etc. in your response, it probably means you are suffering from an overdose of those negative emotions, which is why you want everyone to see the hatred in your soul. Kindly accept my sympathy. sad

Anyway I'm waiting for the Edo people to come in here, and confirm if they requested for an invitation from Kanu. Until then, ask your brother Nnamdi Kanu to keep his unsolicited invitations to himself! undecided

I like this guy already? it seems like it's a thing with Nigerians born in Britain. They seem to remember home more than their American counterparts.

baddosky1:
Which means he is NOT A NIGERIAN!
