OfoIgbo:
I wrote about a week ago that Buhari made a huge mistake to have authorised the shooting of innocent unarmed civilians in Onitsha of all places.

Buhari has to ensure the arrest, prosecution, sentencing and the execution of these culprits in the navy and police that carried out these murders.

Remember this is the same Anambra that Buhari shipped a bunch of Bokoharam terrorists as Anambra's benefit from Buhari's presidency. The same state in which he haulted the construction of the second Niger bridge relying on a very ridiculous reason. So already, individuals in the state don't have a high opinion of Buhari.

The deaths of those few unknown individuals have the capacity to consume Buhari, some of his family members and his government if he does not act fast to show justice being done to the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
Their deaths will fester into a cancer that may even consume Nigeria. A stitch in time.......
Oh, now you want a Fulani president to investgate and fish out the perpetrators! Wow! What is Nnamdi Kanu's team doing? What is their job? sad

No one is annexing anyone. There will be referendum of course. We simply displayed the intended geographical extent of Biafra.

The 2 piece wrappers, 4 market days and contiguity with the Igbo boundary are what distinguish Biafrans from the rest of Nigerians.
We all have closely related cultures.

I'll add that of all the non-Igbo Biafrans, Igala and Idoma are the closest related to the Igbo by blood. We can't leave them behind unless they opt out. What they did in the past during the war is inconsequential here. Many people were not educated then to understand fully what was going on.
Which dirty, stupid referendum, biko nu??! Have the Igala or Idoma ever asked for one??! At what point did they come together en bloc, to tell you they wanted to be part of your Biafra? So what silly right do you guys have to include them in your project or your silly map? What a mendacious insult! Must they engage a translator, to repeat this objection to you in Igbo?? shocked shocked huh

Listen up, Igala and Idoma are not related to you people, and will never be ready to join your territory. undecided When did they ever sit down with you to agree that the geographical boundaries of their land would be included in your map?! Honestly, the arrogance of your people is astounding!! shocked shocked angry

Atlantian:
Hahahahaha, I own a house in Lekki Phase 1, and I go to Itedo community to buy stuff. The Itedo Road is largely used by Itedo people and people who navigate in and out of Lekki to and from Ajah. Why do you think the road is not fixed. Dome Church Pastor received 20m contract from church committee in 2012 to work on that road, By the way, Dome is located in Itedo, but failed to fix it well. Government has purposefully and intentionally abandoned most communities that poor people live. Fashola made a statement to that effect when he said that the tenement rate from VI will be used to develop VI and not Ajegunle, that, if your location doesnt pay tenement rate, he cant bring money from another place to develop other places that dont pay. Why dont you ask yourself. Why is every other road in Lekki Phase 1 estate completed and not that particular road ? It is just goverment bias. They tried to push away the community so they can sell the land, but the Eleguishi leader and the old man at Itedo had court cases that still hasnt been settled, until the eleguishi died and the son took over. I wanted to buy land there, but I was discouraged cos I cant obviously use it as collateral. Government has not till this minute approved that on the gazzette. Itedo remains illegal settlement till this minute. It is the same bias against the poor.
Guy, please get the approved Lekki Phase 1 Estate map from New Towns Development Authority (NTDA) of Lagos State, and review it properly!! Congratulations, but you owning a house in Phase 1 means little, if you do not know the history of that area. sad

Or talk to the first set of people that were original allotees of Lekki Phase 1 land over twenty years ago. I mean those that actually paid between =N=10,000 and =N=50,000 naira for their land in the mid-eighties, not the nouveau riche who came to buy property there many years later. undecided

That road has always been part and parcel of Lekki Phase 1. It used to be the exit gate of the estate, and was actually the old 2nd roundabout before the Lekki-Epe expressway reconstruction started, and another roundabout was created at Marwa Estate Junction which now became the 2nd roundabout.

It is a huge eyesore to the Lekki Phase 1 community, that despite all the bigwigs that live in that estate they cannot put heads together to put pressure on govt to fix that road from the 3rd roundabout. Shame! There are other untarred and broken down roads, right inside the same estate crying for attention. undecided
Politics › Re: World Igbo Congress Is Facilitating Biafran Secession by laudate:
Obiagu1:
He gave his reasons.
Biafrans are republicans and have no monarchy.
In addition, our women tie 2 piece wrappers and we all have 4 market days.
If you noticed, every ethnic group that have related with the Igbo and have an immediate boundary with the Igbo is included except the Edo.

The reason for Edo exclusion is because they have a monarch. I think he said some time ago that unless the powers of Oba of Benin is diminished, Edo will not be part of Biafra.

So in summary, Biafra 2.0 is Igbo and all Igbo neighbours.
Oh, so tying 2 wrappers and having 4 market days is what qualifies another ethnic group to be annexed into the map of Biafra! Can you see how some people reason blindly?? shocked shocked angry

God forbid bad thing! Tufiakwa! The Igala and Idoma will never be part of such folly. Go and get your Biafra by whatever means, but leave the Igala and Idoma out of your territorial expansion, biko nu. undecided

During the civil war of 1967 - 1970, the rank and file of the federal side that pummelled Biafran soldiers into submission, were drawn predominantly from the middle belt, among the Igala, Idoma, Tiv, Tarok, Gbagyi, Birom, Bassa, Angula, Jukun, Zango-Kataf etc, followed by the Kanuri, Fulani, Hausa, Bachama and other ethnic groups from the far north. undecided As we speak, the Igala people of Odekpe have been dealing with Aguleri people at the Anambra border over OPL 915, that runs through Kogi, Anambra and Edo states. sad

So please remove the Igala and Idoma from your calculations. Seek this Biafra on your own, without dragging anyone else into it! sad

@LastProphet, see how they have arrogantly attached your people to the map of Biafra! shocked

@Cheruv, did you not say Biafra was for the SS Igbo and SE Igbo only, what is Igala and idoma doing inside your map??!

You end up agreeing that the road leads to a slum called Itedo but confuse yourself by saying its part and parcel of Lekki Phase 1, even though you conclude that it is not your area. Well, like I said, which ofcourse you agree, Lekki Phase 1 Estate is by the left and Itedo Community is by the right, so if you say the road is in Lekki Phase 1, it means it is also in Itedo, since the road happens to be the boundary of both communities. Here are more excerpts from the same site giving a direct report of the issues being broadcast by Nnamdi Kanu and his cohorts:

...We have seen this before. This is how Boko Haram started. This is how MEND started. But this may be potentially much worse. We have a terror leader freely utilizing modern media tools comfortably for way too long; sowing seeds of terrorism and death into the hearts of vulnerable Nigerian youth embittered after 30 years of PDP and the party founders’ plundering and destruction of Nigeria.

Listening to the publicly available archives from the past few days of the Radio Biafra show, since the deadly “shootout” at Onitsha on Sunday August 30th, one hears only the drums of war, or rather terror.

A caller calls-in and tells megalomaniacal Nnamdi Kanu, the radio host that he is ready to kill soldiers and their families. Another, Chinwendu calls-in from Abuja and tells the host that what he should do is give the order for Igbos in the Igbo states to start killing Hausa-Fulanis as a covert action; that this will precipitate a revenge in Nigeria (the zoo as they call it on the show) where the caller currently resides. The caller explains that “when they start killing us here it will cause the nation to erupt in chaos and this will make Igbos return to “Biafra-land.””

It is the type of chaos that has happened in Nigeria’s past and that some have suspected was triggered by Biafra zionists for the same reason–to push Igbos out of the rest of the country so they can fight for the secession from home. Even other terror in Nigeria has been suspected to be fueled by such mischievous persons with mission to cause chaos and trigger ethnic pogroms, Igbo exodus and a possible hate built secession.

Chukwuemeka Onyebuchi calls from Malaysia and discusses with host Nnamdi Kanu how they should be killing Nigerians one-for-one. “Blood to blood, fire to fire.” He asks them to start a secret strategic plan off the air waves.

Another Biafra zionist calls the host and tells him that he is technically trained and has been researching how to make deadly weapons for the past 20 years. He, a technician and engineering graduate says he can make microwave lasers that can destroy armored tanks. He says he has a host of other deadly friends who are all ready to wage war against Nigeria.

In the chilling audio recording of September 1st, a certain Uchechukwu Madueke in London’s Heathrow calls-in and tells Nnamdi that his brother who “spoke to Nnamdi yesterday” has left India for Nigeria and has promised to kill a random Hausa man. The caller who hails from Enugu says he knows his brother, Michael, that he will kill the Hausa person before he returns to India.

Listen to chilling clips from the broadcasts:http://ends.ng/before-the-first-eastern-bomb-declare-radio-biafra-a-terror-organization/
Pro-Biafra respondents should seek ways of getting their country. Secession does not have to be done through the use of arms or violence.

Do Not Be Provoked To Retaliate

by ENDS | Every Nigerian Do Something | 6th September, 2015

This is an important message especially to Hausas and Fulanis, the intended targets of Radio Biafra’s plotted terror.

Do not be provoked, do not be tempted to retaliate. Leave it to the government and justice system to answer to harassment and murder of your people by Radio Biafra maniacs. Do not be played in the usual games that mischievous elements have played and used to provoke chaos over the years.

We have been following recent broadcasts from Nnamdi Kanu’s Radio Biafra. The terror group has been apparently joyous since the events that led to about half a dozen deaths in Onitsha on Sunday 30th August. While the details of the events that led to the deaths are being investigated, the Nigerian Navy has denied it shot directly at protesting IPOB persons. We have no idea if they were shot at, if they were injured and died as a result of a stampede when the navy fired into the air to disburse them after ‘they had overrun a police post.’ Or if certain unscrupulous Radio Biafra terrorists shot at their own people as many of their conversations have suggested they have the capacity to and as is common in world history.

The true details of Sunday the 30th will come out after the Buhari government, concludes its investigation. However what we are aware of is a plan to terrorize Nigeria in reaction to the incidents and this plan by Radio Biafra is in full effect, as several public conversations of the station have indicated.

Callers on Radio Biafra have been plotting to kill Hausas and Fulanis in Igbo states with intention to provoke a retaliation against innocent Igbos in other parts of Nigeria in hope of using this to “provoke chaos and drive Igbos home to Igbo-land.”

These people supported Goodluck Jonathan and his army chief/thief Azubuike Ihejirika during their campaigns that led to the deaths of thousands of innocent Nigerians and now they are angry that a war is being waged against corruption and terror and Nigeria is finally in recovery and they are desperate to provoke trouble. We must not let them.

Enugu Govt House And Cycle of Wife Hostage and Wife Sacking
by Obinna Akukwe

Chimaraoke Nnamani came back from the United States in 1998, and got elected as governor. His marriage to Nnenna was a sweet affair until he entered into the Lion Building and the way he treated the Iga, Ohafia born mother of two changed. The first feelers that all was not well between the governor and his wife came about a year after his tenure, around early 2000, when the wife complained to people that the office of the First lady is not functional.

According to Nnenna, the governor has refused to release any money for her to run her office. She asked some clerics from both Methodist and Pentecostal Churches to pray out the anomaly. She later accused the governor’s chief spiritualist Kate Ene, also known as Ada Nkanu, of collecting all the money meant for the governor’s kitchen and assigning her daughter as the governor’s chef and executive maid while she is abandoned in the Lion Building to watch DSTV.

Soon the issue degenerated to the extent that she does not attend functions without the strict permission of the governor. She at times moves about with bruised faces and people rumored that she might have been manhandled.

Days, weeks and months brought the relationship between the duos to a standstill that she was partially restricted from moving about except for some shopping. The Lion Building became her boring confinement. Nnenna Nnamani’s resort to pastors for help further infuriated the deteriorating situation that she was at a time barred from spiritual activities and fellowship prayers she manages to attend.

When the German Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke visited Enugu State for crusade at Okpara Square, Nnenna Nnamani, so excited at the visit of the Evangelist, was barred by the governor from attending the 3-day crusade. She had to watch the crusade from the windows of her wing overlooking Okpara Square and participated in all the prayers from her window. Nnenna openly told pastor, priests and family members that the governor’s sisters, Chinero Nwigwe and Ngozi Ugwu are inciting the governor against her and planning to marry another wife for him.

Months after the Reinhard Bonnke Crusades, real problems started for Nnenna. She was sent packing to the United States and another woman, a young girl of about twenty, replaced her. The new wife, beautiful Nkemdirim Ene, daughter of the governor’s chief spiritualist, Kate Eneh, became the First Lady until Chimaraoke handed over to Chime in 2007.

When it was obvious that Sullivan had refused to submit to the ‘Ebeano Family’, the Governor’s campaign structure, an act they termed as betrayal, an enraged Chimaraoke sacked the second wife because her mother couldn’t divine spiritually that Sullivan will be a bad investment.

So you have all the facts? Speaking live from a Soho bar? Lol! you've been abroad for God knows how long. Yet you think you know all that's happening with the Urhobo race. Please wake up and smell the coffee!
Anyway, there's something called the 'blind-privileged' syndrome. I will just attribute it to that.
I don't even know why you're taking it personal. We've established the fact that you are educated. Well, so am I. But your clan and mine put together aren't even up to 5% of the Urhobo populace. Maybe you need to go to your village and see for yourself.
Also, you just had to tell me you're in Soho. I mean, it was so pointless but you just had to.
PS; Ain't nobody got time to calculate ya age. Tomorrow is Monday, I need my sleep. Some of us not in 'Soho' still have to hussle, you know
I have gone through this thread with a lot of interest and honestly, am baffled at some of the generalisations that have been thrown up here.

I have just 2 questions:

Did anyone conduct a census on the number of educated Urhobo people, before they came to a conclusion that they constituted 5% or 50% of the entire Urhobo ethnic group? shocked shocked

Are your comments based on just your own personal observations, or the general stereotypes that keep floating out there? huh

Did you observe a high level of illiteracy among the Urhobo folks, living in either:
(a). the slums;
(b). the cities
(c). urban settlements?

The reason I ask, is because it is difficult to win an argument without verifiable data. If the level of education has been dropping among the Urhobo ethnic group in the slums, then it cannot be said to be representative of the entire Urhobo ethnic group as generally, literacy levels among slum dwellers are poor.

If the literacy level among Urhobo in the villages are also poor, then it means the state govt is not doing enough to invest in the education of the citizens of the state, irrespective of whether they are Urhobo, Ijaw or Itsekiri! More needs to be done at all levels! By all state govts! angry

If your sampling is done among Urhobo in different parts of Nigeria, and the observation still remains the same, then it would appear that somehow the Urhobos have been denied the benefit of, or access to a good education. Or it could be that they are not sufficiently motivated to seek education. But you would need a lot of proof to support this assertion. sad

There is a lot that can be said, but one needs to be careful about tossing remarks like this into the public domain, without adequate facts to back it up. Just my 2 cents. undecided

Thanks for your input. I don't mind giving away reasonable percentage of the likely awarded damage but all I want is someone who can competently mesmerize the court so that we can smile to the bank. I don't want to disclose the nature of the case in any public fora for security reasons but I am sure I have a good case
Ehn??! "...Competently mesmerize the court.." like how? huh shocked shocked shocked

ROFLMAO!! cheesy grin Guy, you never start! What do you think all those grey-haired judges have in their brains?? Do you think they got to the bench by 'being mesmerised?' And they continued earning their pay, by 'being mesmerised?' Chukwu biko!! shocked

Thanks for the analysis, what about my own case most people call my line to inquire about Air France scheduled flight.I ask them most time where do they get my number, they said its one of Air France customer care line.I took a step further to call Air France land line and ask if my number is part of their customer care line and the lady says yes.I'm so surprised because I've been using the line for a very long time.
Lodge a complaint with the telco that issued you the line. Also, write to the Air France management about the issue. If you have a copy of any of their flyers or documents with your number written on it, please attach it as evidence. The error may not be from the telco, but from Air France. sad

They may have made an error in the digits of the phone number, they gave out to their customers. I know someone whose phone number was 080......3112. Well, a popular eatery had their number with the same digits as my friend's number, but their own number ended with 080......3113. undecided

Unfortunately, their printer made an error and end the numbers with 080......3112, which was my friend's number. He started receiving calls from their customers, who wanted to place orders for delivery of food! It was when he complained to the MD of the eatery, that they discovered where the mistake originated from. They pacified my friend with free food and drinks for 2 days!! grin grin grin
