With the pay structure the highest tax should not be more than N400, I think the Proprietor is cheating the teachers. Teachers should ask for their monthly tax schedule sent to the tax office, I hope the teachers are not the one paying the Propritor's tax same way some landlords will not pay PHCN and other utility bills but will later pass them on to the tenanats.

Are you just realizing it now?
As crazy as it may sound, many teachers take 5 subjects for the whole secondary section. These are not so financially strong or organized schools
who are more concerned about covering all the subject while cutting costs.
If you're not fit, you're shown the way out and another who is willing employed.

Chemistry in SS classes is 4 periods per week, Physics is also 4 periods per week, Maths is 5 periods per week.(recommended periods allocation)

If you are taking Maths, Physics and Chemistry in SS 1 to SS3, you will have a total of 39 periods per week. Are you sure you can handle this?

At my 3rd teaching job, I taught Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, Basic Science and Civics, from JSS1 to SS3. And my pay was........wait for it........35k only! I can't even remember how many periods I was taking, I just know I never rested 8am to 4pm.
I believe he can handle it.

ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE!!! I went for an interview today in a school as a Chemistry and maths/physics teacher and after a written test we went in one after the other for the oral interview.I felt i did well in the interview and at the end I was asked my desired pay.I asked them to pay me according to their pay structure but they insisted i name my price.I gave them a range of 40-50k and they put my minimum pay as 40k.The problem now is that am not satisfied with 40k as my pay cos after my calculations the left over after deduction of T fare and other miscellaneous is about 30K.I felt I should have raised the bar a little.I already have another school near where I live that will pay me 25k and I will be a little bit free to apply for other jobs and go for other interviews compared to the other school....WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Nothing spoil! Tell them that having researched the average pay for schools in their category, you've come to realise that it is within the range of.....(Insert your desired salary). Emphasize your experience and ability to do the job well. Then listen and get ready to renegotiate.

The problem with Lagos is more of its population. No city can carry such huge population of people without grappling with urbanization issues.

Get ready for a written test. Basic Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Logic, Essay Writing and Lesson Plan Construction.
Be ready to explain why u wanna join the skul and the changes u can bring, your duties as a teacher etc.

Jenifer has got an awesome voice but she lacks composure. That's her weakness. Joy's voice is no way near that of Jenifer but her confidence and composure make way for her.

You're thinking too much about all the things you're gonna do wrongly. You need to stop thinking about how people will perceive you, otherwise you'd fumble. I suggest you download and watch a video on interviewing from Youtube. Watch it over and over, prepare well and go out there and just do your thing darling! Just be yourself and do it your own way.
If its your job, you'd get it. Its no do or die affair.

All the answers u gave above were generated by a human being like u and me, and almost everybody is going to give those same answer, because they also read it online like u. So where does your own opinion come in?

Btw, all those answers you gave don't in any way show that you can do the job. Anybody can memorize and recite those stuff.
