We just tend to not really attach much attention or significance to non-english speaking countries. Russia is still far better than Germany economically toady even despite two years of significant sanctions. The top rankings for education and healthcare, English speaking countries no even dey top 20.
Life doesn't start and end with English speaking countries o...or democracy. Autocracy certainly works for some, and democracy isn't absolutely the best. I actually believe Nigeria will be in better state with an autocratic leader who has the nation at heart, even if he only has it at heart up to just 25% and is selfish with the remaining 75%

These folks are gaming the system. What they do is leave their beard to grow for months without shaving, a void having their bath for a week, put on a dirty cloth then they go to hospital and claim mental health. Boom doctors gives them the clearance and benefit money start pouring.
However, there are people with original mental health problem. By mitigating this loophole the government will save money that can be use for other things.
Peerielass: Just say it’s unfair period. British people also pay taxes and some of them are not eligible for benefits due to earning high wages. They also have private health insurance so never use the NHS but they’ve been paying national insurance contribution for donkey years.

okposm: Thanks. I have started looking for another house. The checks are just too much for that type of house. They ran a credit check, They sent reference to landlord. Never defaulted not even by a day. That should be enough comfort. The deposit is 2/3 of rent. Now the landlord is stating issues like i lied i work in the civil service. That's too much. Someone trying to call me a thief even after I made a proposal for them to view the contract when i come to their office.
I will call them up if they are okay with what was provided and if not, they should refund me my holding deposit.
Viruses: The employers should go through the normal route and provide Tier-2 sponsorship for the nanny and be ready to meet all employment conditions or simply get a nanny here.
