The title says Highly Intellectual people. But body of your post describes a NEUROTIC and EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE person that is ULTRA NEEDY.

I had to quit this kind of madness, 10 years ago. It was a great company, with great pay. A well known investment bank. Saved as much as I could, invested much of my savings into getting my place. After working, with good savings, I set up my own independent consulting firm in the same job functions I was handling. The money may not be flowing as it was coming as a regular staff, but my quality of life is top notch. The little fees I am earning from my consulting is paying my bills and I work at my own pace from my house. At this my level, being a billionaire is not my dream, but being able to earn a descent income and be in a good shape of health. My former colleague that remained have all risen to their respective levels and some have continued to support my consulting business with referrals. Status wise, i don't see much difference between me and them. Some of them have also japaed and are in various places around the world. I can't compromise quality of life, freedom and attention to my family on anything. It is early sunday morning now and I am heading to my usual road workout with friends, to be back by 9:40a.m and take my kids to children's Sunday Mass by 10am

I clearly stated the pro and con, i was not emotionally attached to anything or anyone there. I was not expecting more from them.

Everyone comes here to state how they felt working there from their experience and this is mine.

Yes i was moved from Cybervilla to Connect, which obviously did not go with any of the 1week training and more was expected of me at connect plus initially i was given a good reason why i was moved and i was ok with it.

They promote and lay you off based on feelings hence my last statement and that is my issue with them.

Remote jobs will soon be out of phase. The advent of remote jobs was fueled by the Corona pandemic which has been defeated. Most employers are now searching for on-site staff unlike remote workers because they felt remote workers are less productive. Elon Musk also fueled the dogma recently. Remote works are heavily dropping. Focus on on-site/physical job in your location or searches if you are considering relocation to a neighboring state or country
