Politics › Moving Forward In The Right Direction by lawani(op): 8:40pm On May 03, 2025 |
Moving forward in the right direction.
If a nation can fund the police and the army fully, why not education and health to such an extent that basic education and healthcare can be guaranteed for all citizens?. It is a matter of prioritization. Any nation that is well organized and collecting taxes can do it. It is not rocket science. If basic education is guaranteed for all and higher education is guaranteed for those who qualify while there is universal healthcare in any country then that country have moved forward in the right direction. The first step in that direction is that all income earners must be in the tax net. Police, army, teachers and health workers must be catered for. |

LordReed: And when I ask you show me a dictionary that says an ideology can only be an ideology if it says it is the only right way you will start chewing mouth. OK you win! I did not define ideology that way again. I only said some ideologies do that. You have no reason to insult me here. You need to learn manners |

LordReed: You:
You aren't accepting you are wrong. You want to be right by all means. The objective of my post is to isolate ideologies and that people should be free thinkers. I did not consider Confucianism as an ideology but AI said it can be considered an ideology. AI did not say it is fully an ideology. The ideologies I am against are those that see themselves as the only way. There are no only ways or absolute truths. We can only have working truths until we know better |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 6:51pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: .
Kindly show me a dictionary that says ideology means only right way. I have explained I don't mean ideology means only right way by definition. I only said Confucianism is different from capitalism, socialism, Christianity and islam for instance because adherents don't say it is the only right way. I have told you I accept your correction but it does not change what is on the ground. It does not change the behavior of capitalists, socialists, Christians and Muslims. I hope you understand me now |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 6:40pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: Yeah, their ideologies are not spread by bloodshed. AI says Confucianism can be 'considered' an ideology. It is therefore a case of one leg in, one leg out. It is different from the other ideologies because it does not push itself as the only right way. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 6:05pm On May 03, 2025 |
I have never considered Confucianism an ideology because the dictionary definition is more to do with politics and economy but if Confucianism is considered an ideology alongside capitalism and etc then it is a none violent one. As I said, I am only researching. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 5:56pm On May 03, 2025 |

Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 5:35pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: So words just mean anything you want them to. Ideology has a meaning and it doesn't not include defending it with your life. You are just wrong learn to accept correction. I agree but can you tell me of one ideology today that is not sustained by bloodshed? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 5:30pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: Show me in which dictionary the mean of ideology means you must defend it with your life. That is not the dictionary meaning but it is the extent they go to. Dictionary meaning does not even include spirituality. Dictionary meaning is only or mainly for politics and/or economy. |

LordReed: Kindly show me a dictionary that says that is the meaning of ideology. Isn't that what capitalists, socialists, Christians and Muslims and all their sects say?. They say their way is the only right way and when you remove all four, no ideologies again. That is what I mean. Or can you show me any other group on Earth that say their way is the only right way apart from those broad four? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Let's Discuss: Is Death Good? by lawani(m): 3:40pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: Where were you in this past incarnation? . Being conscious does not mean you will know who you were or where you lived but it will mean you will be fighting the same battle. Then immature spirits alternate between genders making it more difficult for them to know who they were. There is really no advantage in knowing who you were. It is however someone in your family tree |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 3:35pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: But that's not what you wrote. You wrote that ideologies did not exist before Christianity. Yes I said both spiritual and normal ideologies did not exist before Christianity. Ideology is rigidly insisting something is the absolute truth or the only way. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 3:22pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: Which meaning of ideology means it must be defended with your life? Ideology is actually to do with politics or economics. I am just the one extending it to spirituality because the followers behave the same way. That way of behaving is what I say did not exist in the past. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Let's Discuss: Is Death Good? by lawani(m): 3:16pm On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: Do you have the full consciousness of your last incarnation? Yes I am over 45 now and it comes fully by 24 years. You suck it in from your surroundings and from inspirations |
Christianity Etc › Re: Let's Discuss: Is Death Good? by lawani(m): 1:40pm On May 03, 2025 |
After a long life, you will be weak, therefore death is good. It is however like a long sleep until you reincarnate again. By age 24 after reincarnation, you will have all the consciousness of your last incarnation. That is according to my research using IFA. |

LordReed: Understand what I wrote. I didn't say people fought for ideologies before Christianity, in fact I said the opposite. What I did say was ideologies EXISTED before Christianity. Aristotle is one notable Greek promoter of certain ideals. Also look up Confucius, a Chinese philosopher and the ideals he promoted. I know there were philosophers but were there things they believed in and defended with their lives?. If none I don't think their teachings should be classed as ideologies |

Christianity Etc › Re: Ideologies And The Future Of Humanity by lawani(op): 11:41am On May 03, 2025 |
LordReed: I don't agree with this statement "Ideologies were not prominent on Earth before the coming or outbreak of Christianity". You can find several ideologies that predate the coming of Christianity both in Roman and Greek society. Even the Egyptians, Indians and Chinese have ideologies that predate the 1st century CE. However, I do agree the it is with the coming of Christianity and Islam that we start to see conquest in the name of religion or religious ideology. This was not something that was recorded before these religions came to be. I am still researching. Can you give me examples of things people believe in and fight for apart from territory before Christianity?. Things like capitalism, socialism, Islam and Christianity. I did not say communism because I think it is just a no one left behind Eldorado which can be achieved in a free market system |

showboy2301: You are right, but why do we all pretend or ignore the fact that we should hold the states responsible for our safety and other things instead of federal government? That is a big question which I have been asking for years. If the oil money were not there, states will go back to their constitutional revenue source and they will have to be sending a percentage to the federal government. |

The state is the most powerful tier of government in Nigeria because they have PAYE as a constitutional revenue source. If any state taxes its HNIs and workers, they will not need to wait for allocations |

mercyblaze001: I'm writing this in 2025.
I'm a single lady with no child. My current job pays me 25k monthly with free accommodation (within the premise) and free WiFi but it's not enough to survive in Benin city.
We work Sundays to Sundays. Sometimes overnight and we don't get paid for overtime. They don't give us food or at least feeding allowance for the days we have to work extra.
We come to work on public holidays, especially Muslim holidays and go for Christmas break about 2 days to Christmas, expected to resume on the 2nd of January.
My salary is not enough to feed me halfway through the month, let alone accommodate other needs. I even have a small business I do on the side but I still end up struggling to feed.
Some of these private firms need to be interrogated and charged. I am sorry about that. It costs the government nothing to enforce minimum wage across board. That is what they do in countries where our people rush to |
