Reincarnation~ The Orunmila Example.

From over 5200 years ago that the first Orunmila was birthed to become the inventor and teacher of the 256 odus of ifa, there have been 55 incarnations up to myself and I am the 97th father starting from Orunmila. 5 Orunmilas incarnated in the Oyo empire. 2 including myself were Ijesa while we can say two were Brazilians if we count the prince of Ibokun Ijesa who was the Ijesa Orunmila that went to Brazil with Prince Atakunmosa of Ilesa. He was the Araba of Ijesa before becoming the King of Ibokun. He was the grandfather of the second Brazilian Orunmila who may be said to be a white man.

The first Brazilian Orunmila that was the Ibokun prince spent only eleven years in Brazil together with Prince Atakunmosa of Ilesa before they both returned home to Ijesa land to become Kings. The second Brazilian Orunmila did not know he was an Orunmila incarnate but he became the Araba of Rorama (Rr) Brazil. Both Orunmila incarnations that lived in Brazil are well known there according to Ifa. Ifa said all the 5 Orunmilas of the Oyo empire knew they were Orunmila and they were all Arabas of the empire.

The penultimate Orunmila is the late Sir Herbert Macaulay the founding father of Nigerian nationalism but he also had no idea he was an Orunmila incarnate but he managed to align all political parties, labour unions, trade unions and town unions in Nigeria into one bloc which was the NCNC. National Council of Nigerian Citizens. If he had been alive in 1960, Nigeria may have emerged as a one party democracy similar to China today. He managed to lead the NCNC as if it were a union of iledis or Awo unions before he died in 1946. It was apparently because of a deep incarnation experience in trade union coordination and leadership in general. He was Nigeria's citizen 001.

In Yoruba land, among royalties that are Orunmila lineage are Ogboni of Ibokun, Olugbo of Ugbo and etc. Any Earth line that is Orunmila can birth the incarnation of Orunmila and that applies to all spirits. If you were doing something very noticeable in your past incarnation, it will be very straightforward to identify yourself since you were in your own culture but an additional drawback is that spirits that are not yet mature alternate between genders. A mature spirit is one that has 23 full incarnations that it can draw Earth experience from without counting its present incarnation. In my own case, I was doubly identified before I identified myself independently in 2024.

I also identified by myself who I was the last time which was Sir Herbert Macaulay. The maximum time you can spend in heaven before reincarnating is 151 years and the minimum is 6.5 months of thirty days each. I was identified by the Araba of Rorama in 2013 and by Prof Wande Abimbola the Araba AGBAYE in 2017.
It is better for other people to do the identifying and not self if ever necessary, because of pretenders.

Things to note.

1. It is the battle you were fighting that you will continue fighting.

2. You will face a challenge in the battle.

3. You will increase in a new way if you confront your challenges properly.

4. It is the same battle you will continue next time.

There is heaven but there is no hell and the only likeness of hell is when a spirit is knocked out of existence when its incarnation plans and does evil consecutively for a high enough number of times. The person will die and the autopsy will read poisoned but the person will never be incarnated again.

Have Your Ifa At Home.

In the olden days, all Yoruba families had ifa at home and everybody was learned in ifa to a reasonable degree. Up till today, it is normal parlance for even kids to say ko difa or o difa to establish the right standing of an action. It is a spill over from the now dithering era of academic spirituality when God was described as a gentleman and good father and not as a weirdo burning people in hell for the unbelief of ridiculous tales. Ifa is a spirit communication apparatus which every human being must have at home. Imagine your food being poisoned and your spirit struggling to let you know. This is why you should have ifa at home. When you have ifa is when you are a fully conscious human being.

Oduduwa is an ifa name and alias of the first king of a global empire. It is also an alias of God. Oduduwa means Odu da iwa. The odu that created character and the essence of everything. It is an alias of God and if you reach the rank as a matured human being, it means your conduct can never be faulted just like God. It has a clear Yoruba meaning. Yoruba and Nupe are closest in culture than others but the languages are not grouped together by linguists. All Yoruba words apart from coined words come from surrounding languages just like it is with other languages

CultureThe Earth And Its Languages by lawani(op): 5:32am On Jul 19, 2024
One help that you can do for the world as a nation is to preserve your language and culture for the world's academia.
Presently some ancient languages are known only to members of the academia who study them in a bid to study the cultures that owned them eg ancient Egyptian, ancient Sumerian and others.
It should not continue to happen or go on like that.
In all lands, the language of government business and education at all levels should be the local language while the average person should have conversational mastery of up to four languages. It is the only way of preserving for future generations the over seven thousand languages left on Earth. If your language as a nation is almost dead, you can raise it up as did the Jews with Hebrew who turned a prayer language to a lingua franca spoken every day by millions of people. A single person coined over two thousand new words and they are all in use today. Every nation should be as committed to their language which is part of their identity.
PoliticsThe Yoruba In The New World And The Jim Crow Era by lawani(op): 9:24am On Jul 18, 2024
The Yoruba in the new world and the Jim Crow era.

More than seventy percent of the white people identifying as Lebanese or thought to be Lebanese in the new world are descendants of Yoruba ancestors. They are white Yoruba people. Their families were established in the new world by Yoruba people from West Africa centuries ago.
The new world was populated from the whole world via migration when old world diseases decimated the indigenous population of the new world. Migration was from Europe and Africa. The traffic from Africa, particularly west Africa was heavier at the beginning before being overtaken by Europe when other countries apart from Portugal and Spain joined the migration. The migrants from west Africa included human cargo and free men. The traffic from Europe was more or less the same since indentured servants are also human cargo as well only that money was not paid cash for indentured servants was the difference while slaves were bought cash. Indentured servitude was a voluntary thing and many of the people were people fleeing from famine or abject poverty in Europe. Indentured servitude is the same issue of human trafficking that is still rampant today when young people seeking greener pastures abroad are tricked by predators.
In west Africa, slaves were transported across the trans Atlantic slave route and free men also used the same route and as at the beginning of the nineteenth century, the vast majority of people of African descent in a place like Brazil were free men without counting white people of African descent who know themselves to be of West African or Angolan descent.

The population of west Africa of 2024 is around 330 million and Nigerian Yoruba land contains 94 million of that and there is still Yoruba land in Togo, Benin republic and Ghana. The three nations total around 60 million. Ethnic Yoruba and associated people in those countries maybe around twenty five percent of the total population. This means that almost half of West Africa is ethnic Yoruba land while more than half live on land where Yoruba is at least a second local language. Given that the Yoruba were in control of the coast and contact with Europeans for centuries before others, it can be reasonably assumed that more than seventy percent of white people in the new world with African ancestry that are assumed to be Lebanese are actually Yoruba. The real Lebanese in the new world will be less than the population of Nigerian Igbo descendants in the new world. There were no Chinese, Indians, North Africans, Lebanese or any Levantine people to any significant extent in the new world before very late in the nineteenth century.
The total population of white Yoruba people in the new world is most probably not less than the population of Germany which is the highest populated nation in western Europe. This is to point out that ethnicity has transcended skin color in the modern world. These new world Yoruba people are more serious with the Yoruba culture and spirituality than Nigerian or west African Yoruba and they have never been anything as a community other than Brazilian, Cuban etc or generally new world Yoruba.

If not that the Yoruba elite, professionals and traditional rulers invited the British to end their seventeen year long civil war, the Yoruba would not have experienced colonization since the British were not disposed to violating the sovereignty of the Yoruba. The Yoruba would be like China or Japan while Lagos island will be to the Yoruba country what Singapore is to Malaysia or Taiwan is to China and etc if Lagos island did not eventually vote to join the bigger country as did West and East Germany that reunited decades after partitioning between the allied forces led by the USA and the USSR. The British on Lagos island were instructed by King George not to interfere at all in the Yoruba civil war and that they should let the belligerents resolve their issues by themselves. It was during that war that started in 1877 that the era of modern weapons came and the Ijesha, a sub Yoruba nation imported some guns to use against the Ibadan that initially held the Yoruba together as capital. The sound of those imported guns is why the IJESA call the war the Kiriji war.
Therefore if not for that war and the British colonization that followed it, the Yoruba nation would have emerged as did Japan on the world stage and that would have provided a place for African Americans in the USA to return to if they want that. Therefore the Jim Crow era is a result of how Queen Elizabeth ravaged the British commonwealth. It did not happen in Brazil or Mexico since those places have nothing in common with Queen Elizabeth’s Britain.
However the era was not different from what happened in other places in form of communal clashes like Ife- Modakeke, Umuleri-Aguleri and etc that happened in Nigeria.
What is needed to close that era totally in the USA maybe to allow communities to.police themselves, reduce incarceration rates drastically by focusing more on fining law breakers according to their means for offenses rather than jailing them, support for family units, compulsory basic education as it is presently and opportunity for higher education for all those that qualify and thereby improving across board the quality of the citizenry.

However African Americans are not West Africans. They are far removed from west Africans because they have sizeable European and native American ancestry like all other Americans.
EducationUniversity Autonomy Can Rejuvenate The Tertiary Education Sector. by lawani(op): 9:47am On Jul 17, 2024
The main advantage of the policy is that it will end unnecessary industrial actions by ASUU. All tertiary education institutions will be run profitably by properly constituted governing councils or boards headed by the chancellor and their main task will be to fix school fees and etc of government owned schools while reporting on profit to government. The job of the government tiers will be to set up scholarship boards to make sure all students that passed O levels and qualify for university admission are sponsored by the tax payers with no one left behind. In that way, the universities will become forex earners just like Ghanaian and South African universities.
PoliticsWhat Is The Real Local Government Autonomy? by lawani(op): 9:09am On Jul 17, 2024
The real local government autonomy is for the state governments to allow democracy to thrive in local governments. It is just like ASUU asking for university autonomy without realizing that it means the universities relying entirely on tuition fees, research grants, rent and etc for sustainance. The real autonomy needed for local governments is for the states to allow democracy to thrive there. If I am a duly elected local government chairman, the state government will not like to cut the allocations to my constituency because I will certainly take them to court and also sue for extra. The governors are wrong to be enjoying democracy and be blocking it at local government level. If any money is titled for a local government, it should be handed to them without stress after which they are also free to tap revenue sources allocated to them by the constitution

There is a way to impose tax that the payers will not notice and that is what is done in organized countries in western Europe and etc. Let the minimum wage imposed on the economy be high enough to bear the tax and there will be no grounds for anybody to protest. It is the people at the bottom that needs to be catered for first when imposing taxes.

Christianity EtcWhy Not God? OGBEYEKU by lawani(op):
OGBE OYEKU If you believe your Earthly father can not be burning holy people in hell for the unbelief of ridiculous tales, why not God? If you believe your Earthly father can not but be fair to all his kids, why do you think God has favourites or special people?. If you believe a human being forgiving a third party when the victim may still be writhing in pains may be insane, why do you preach that God is like that?. If you believe God understands all languages, why do you pray in another language than your lingua franca or mother tongue? If you believe even God can change his mind, why do you have a holy book whose content must and can never be reviewed? If you believe that what anyone is, others can become, why do you have a son of God or last prophet? Let your values match your actions and beliefs. Being a fervent religionist is a kind of evidence of a shallow belief in God because if God exists, he must at least be rational to qualify as GOD.

PoliticsOne Tier Democracy- Universal Elite Suffrage- The Reformed Ogboni System. by lawani(op): 8:37am On Jul 16, 2024
We have heard of universal adult suffrage where all adults have a right to the vote. It however ends there because they do not have a right to summarily dismiss the President.
The right to summarily dismiss the President without needing to explain to anybody the rightness of the action is also important. It is such power that was wielded by the Ogboni in many precolonial Yoruba states. The Ogboni are the elite elders who have a track record of good conduct and are also well experienced and aged. They are past or near retirement age and they are not gratified by anybody for the role they play. They are gratified by their own means or the means of their family members. The King attends Ogboni meetings as a mere floor member and he is not afforded any respect or recognition on the floor.
It is what we need in modern times but there can be an improvement on it by way of voting for the Ogboni in each country. All members of such an elite council granted supervision right over the executive arm of government will receive all briefs as well as incoming and outgoing memos of the President and other leaders of government and the council should also be able to overrule the supreme court.
They will also be the one to appoint and employ the President and his or her team by voting among themselves.
Why it is a reformed Ogboni system is because the Ogboni were not elected in the past.
The people that will be voted for are people that will work part time without any form of payment by government but they can be paid by their platforms. They are also going to always form a government of.national unity with no opposition party.
PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Got It Wrong On LG Autonomy- Punch Editorial Board by lawani(m): 8:06am On Jul 16, 2024
The fight is over oil money because all tiers of government have their constitutional revenue sources which can hardly be contested with them. A local government collecting tenement, TV, radio licenses, signage and produce tax can not have its revenue disturbed by any entity.

Punch editorial is however right that the military constitution is the foundation of the problem. Many States (not including Lagos) are stifling democracy at the local government level by not conducting elections at all and that is the problem. If not that the LG chairmen must obey who put them there, then an opposition member that won LG chairmanship election will not agree with the state to take its revenue and the state will pay along with damages if it gets to court. It is straight forward.

Why there is no complaint in Lagos is probably because the local governments there end up with more than what was sent to them from the federal.

As it is now, it is better to delist the local governments from the constitution and let states be fully in charge of creating local governments while local governments generate their revenue as approved by the constitution or wait for allocations from states as is customary in Nigeria.

The number of states too would not have been rigid in a constitution written by civilians.

It must be noted that even states do not have a right to the revenue they are collecting from the federal purse. It belongs to the federal. Their own is PAYE. However when oil money becomes irrelevant the direction of allocation payment will change.

PoliticsWhat Is An Indication Of National Poverty?. by lawani(op): 10:26am On Jul 14, 2024
A good indicator that you are poor is when you as an individual or corporate entity is able to.produce everything you need by yourself and you do not need to trade.

Adam Smith has demonstrated in his work The wealth of nations that trade helps the prosperity of nations and it is obvious.

Therefore whether you are an individual or a nation, you can only get a large variety of products or goods and services to enjoy when you trade. Trade therefore should be as free as possible because it enhances prosperity. Restrictions on trade should be none existent or at least very minimal.

When you enjoy a large variety of goods and services whether as an individual or a society is when you are very well off.

PoliticsEvery Employer Can Pay The Minimum Wage. by lawani(op):
Take a gas retailer or any retailer for instance. The person may sell up to 40kg per day on average and one hundred naira additional per kg will add over one hundred thousand naira per month to the net income of the business and to pay the minimum wage will be easy because it is the business paying and not the business owner. It must be realized that without factoring in wages, prices fluctuates wildly. Gas retail price moved from 650 to 1200. If you can employ then you can certainly pay any wage imposed by the government simply because it is an overhead expense. The business is paying. You are not the one paying. If a living and taxable minimum wage is imposed on the economy, prices will rise a tiny bit will be the response but the economy will be much better off on the overall.

For any government trying to solve poverty, the first step is to impose a minimum wage that can solve the poverty in the economy. It will be easy for anyone to calculate what the minimum wage should be if not for variation in rent from city to city and that is one thing.that also needs to be attended to. Rent should be uniform.for the same quality of housing.
PoliticsMinimum Wage by lawani(op): 5:15pm On Jul 11, 2024
Minimum wage is for government's and workers' benefit. It is for government's benefit because it must be fixed to be high enough to bear a high personal income tax and it is for workers' benefit because it must be high enough to provide for around 1.5 persons in my opinion. Two people on minimum wage should be able to raise one kid.

Therefore the people that are supposed to be fighting against frequent increase in minimum wage in a well run country are companies in the private sector. However if minimum wage is uniformly high, it will also boom the economy because people will be able to afford more and a boom in the economy.pays the private sector more than other players in the economy.

Nigeria is not yet a well run country is why labor unions are the ones haggling wage with the government.

At least sixty million people are earning income in the country from billionaires to street hawkers and maybe around two million only work for the tiers of government
