dunkem21:What are you saying? If your father kills and maim other nigerians in the name of armed robbery for instance? And he is caught. Did he not know that he was committing a crime against the state? All I can do is beg for him if i have to. what of the people he has taken their own lives? Abeg... if my father no want trouble, he should abide by the rules. It is even a sin according to the scripture to beat rules of the land. Jesus said give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. Only in Nigeria (Banana republic) will you commit crime and be expecting and hoping not to face the music. In sane society, when u were committing the crime, you already are signing your death or arrest warrant and you know it. |
Tundeajani:You are perfectly on point... They dont know this things that is why they keep failing. The president has withdrawn from Ondo Rally because of the mass exodus there... |
dunkem21:IF MY FATHER HAS WRONGED THE STATE, HE HAS ALSO SOILED THE FAMILY NAME. THAT IS HOW WE THINK IN YORUBA LAND. HE CAN AS WELL FACE THE MUSIC. I CAN BEG FOR HIM, IF HE IS FOUND GUILTY, THEN SO BE IT... I WILL FEEL BAD FOR HIM NOT GET ANGRY WITH THE STATE... |
masterpower:sharrap! It is your arrogance and shouting that make them deal with you people anywhere you go... No reasoning before talking! Nonsense! |
dunkem21:Even when your papa be the thief of the town... and has killed people? |
when PDP started it, no one reported it. When it became a reprisal attack from APC, it was reported to paint them bad. But the truth is there. PDP started the waive of violence since last week in Port Harcourt, Abia State, Gombe and Jos. |
Ah Baba Ladoja... E ye paro mo! Ole ni yin joor! Accord Party ko, Honda Accord ni... And to think that Patience Jonathan came to endorse this man. It shows the kind of people that surround Jonathan. Jonathan said it is not by arresting them. If EFCC, at that time, did not arrest Ladoja, would the state be able to make use of N500 million to develop the state? Clueless followers of GEJ should think and act appropriately rather than carrying all sort paid propaganda. |
Dem never see anything... I see the hands of God moving all over Nigeria. When they used police and soldiers to kill and destabilize #occupyNigeria, I said it that Jonathan has sinned against Nigerians and God. |
lawbabs:Following up on my post, kindly note that nowadays, they have so destroyed public education. Especially since 2007, Nigerian Primary and Secondary Education System have been nearing collapse without tremendous review of curricula and the entire system. Now all the top politicians wives own the biggest schools in Nigeria. It is relatively more expensive to go private school in Nigeria than a public school in the UK. Nigerians, avoid these propagandists... |
lurther:This is absolute nonsense. I am sure you are either paid or you are jobless. It is no crime for him to send his daughters to school abroad within his resources. My father was a 'NOBODY' in terms of affluence but he struggled and sold lands to send me to school abroad and my younger ones to private school in Nigeria because of how PDP destroyed our education system. I was in a Nigerian universities in the early 2000 and I spent one full year at home because of strike and internal crisis. That was when my father made up his mind about my schooling abroad. At that time, only few Private Universities where in Nigeria and they hadnt gotten their footings then, so he took that decision. The reason I put out my story is so that you dont come here and be spreading falsehood. Do you know Buhari's older children. When Nigeria was good, they all schooled in Nigeria. Many of them attended ABU Zaria. Jonathan and PDP have refused to declare state of emergency on our education system so that we can begin to rebuild from the Basic to Tertiary education. All over the world, Organization bring their research problem to universities for solutions. I was part of a research into the possibility of substantial yield in taking short and long positions in a buying company and the selling company during an acquisition. That was back in my school in the UK. the research was a request from a hedge fund administrator in London. Where do u find that here? PDP derive benefits in keeping the people uninformed and uneducated so they can lie and get their vote. Little wonder they find it difficult in states where the pulic awareness is high. It is well. Please before you post nonsense, think and rethink. God bless you. GMB come FeBUHARI 2015!! |
Waoh! I love this... Innovative! |

@FireFire Your grandmaster, Doyin Okupe (The Bastard) told us that APC will not witness its one year anniversary. He was so bold about it that he said we should call him bastard if it does. So when APC clocked one, some of us who wrote down his statement, happily called him bastard. I am calling you to be bold and tell us what we should call you if Febuhari 14 is successful and Buhari wins the election. If you are bold, please say it... |
Mogidi:Na all this small spending on schools, building nonsense facilities without building people , dey make dem high. Ofcourse, they have been paid. But that is not the problem. my trouble with NANS executive is that they do not realise that PDP has refused to overhaul the education sector to deliver value to the corporate world. The same curriculum of the 70s and 80s are still used for teaching in our schools today. Yet they all send their children abroad and decieve the aluta boys (NANS). Recently, Jonathan said in Ibadan that people should get benefit on their children after sending them to Havard, Oxford, Cambridge. He never mentioned UI, Uniben, or UNN. Does that kinda leader deserve my vote? Nbanu... A word is enough for the wise! |
From reliable source, I learnt that letter originated from the corridors of Aso Rock. They continue to lift stories that they don't know the origin and the real gist. And they end up looking stupid... |
Firefire:FEBUHARI 14 is alive. Your propaganda and lies will not work. Try harder but dont be shocked when you realise that the moving train - CHANGE is unstoppable. |
mcino:You cannot destroy FEBUHARI 14. It has come to stay. Failed Jonathan should return to Otueke and learn carpentry. |
FreeGlobe:Oh I didnt know that smartness is the destruction of our common wealth. Thank you for educating me that smartness is when the stealing of billions of dollars is not corruption. Now I understand your smartness, you clueless followers of a headless chicken. Smart ko, smith ni! Nonsense... |
FreeGlobe:How much were you paid to put this together and yet you are not able to come up with a smart propanganda! You are an investment waste (the yield on the payment made to you is negative)! |
temitemi1:It is so funny... Kai, how much did they pay you? and yet you are not able to deliver smart propaganda. You are a negative return on investment! Choi! Sai Buhari come Febuhari 14. |
PhockPhockMan:Bros you get time o. Are you that jobless? How many minutes or hours did it take you to put this forgery together? |
tsleazy:show the pictures to show the validity of your argument... |
I am from Osun State. I make bold to say that Jonathan will loose Osun completely. He will struggle to get 5% of the vote. With our kind of readiness in our mind, with our anger on the way he used soldiers to harass our mothers during the last Osun Gubernatoral Election emm, We are waiting for the person who will come and rig come Febuhari 14... Ki Olorun so wa ju igbana lo (amin)! ![]() |
Jonathan’s Lagos Diatribe And Half-truths Part I Comrade Timi Frank — Jan 13, 2015 | 3 Comments On Thursday in Lagos, President Goodluck Jonathan in a speech at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Rally, claimed that the leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Henry Okah – currently serving time in South Africa for terror offences – had tried to kill him. He claimed that Okah, who headed MEND had been hired to assassinate him. The allegation related to twin bombings at the celebration of Nigeria’s 50th Independence anniversary on October 1, 2010 which killed at least 12 persons in Abuja, and two other bombings in Warri, Delta State in March that year. Jonathan told the gathering made up of PDP faithfuls that “Intelligence investigation from South Africa intelligence system and Nigerian intelligence system roped him in that plan to assassinate me. And Okah bombed Abuja. The attempt was to assassinate me.” Jonathan failed to remind the youths whom he said were the target of his political sermon that very day that despite MEND’s claim of responsibility for that attack, he had insisted then that other forces were responsible. MEND had not only claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks, the militants had in an e-mail message to some media houses warned of the impending attacks and advised people to evacuate areas close to Eagle Square – the venue of the Golden Jubilee celebrations – about an hour before the explosions went off. Contrary to this claim, Jonathan had absolved the group of responsibility for the attacks in his address at a colloquium in Abuja organised by the ECOWAS Parliament. Jonathan, at the event which was meant to celebrate African countries that also marked their golden jubilee anniversary in 2010, declared that MEND was not a terrorist group. “What happened yesterday (October 1, 2010) was a terrorist act and MEND was just used as a straw; MEND is not a terrorist group,” the President said. He added: “It is erroneous to think that my people who have been agitating for good living will deliberately blow up the opportunity they have now.” Who is fooling who? Why has the President refused to be truthful in this matter? How can Mr. President attempt to cajole the ‘young people’ to throw their hats into the ring with him on the basis of half-truths and deliberate falsehood? The insincerity and cover-up is not only too glaring but unbecoming of the highest office in the land and for a man seeking reelection to rule for the next four years. Jonathan failed to tell Nigerian youths that with less than 33 days to the general elections across the country for which he is out campaigning to be reelected President, the Boko Haram insurgents are still in control of a total of 13 local government areas in the northeastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa. He failed to say that the group is also exercising partial control over parts of at least 10 local government areas in Borno. The nine LGAs in Borno under the full control of the insurgents are: Gwoza, Bama, Mafa, Dikwa, Kala-Balge, Ngala, Marte, Abadam and Mobbar. The other four are Michika and Madagali in Adamawa State, as well as Gujba and Gulani in Yobe State. According to reports, the insurgents partially control some LGAs in Borno like Mungono, Kukawa, Guzamala, Gubio, Magumeri, Damboa, Konduga, Chibok, Askira Uba and Jere. The militants had seized about one-third of Adamawa, with Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Hong and Gombi areas firmly under their control before November last year. However, troops assisted by local hunters had dislodged the insurgents from Gombi, Hong, Maiha and Mubi while Michika and Madagali are still under their firm grip. He also failed to tell Nigerians that over 13,000 of their kit and kin have so far been slaughtered by the insurgents and more may yet be killed. Over two million people are displaced from Borno alone according to a statement credited to the Deputy Governor of Borno state, Zannah Umar Mustapha, in December. Moreover, Nigeria currently holds the unenviable record of having 3.3 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) – the highest in Africa. The Internally Displaced Monitoring Centre (IDMC) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in its report: “Global Overview 2014: people internally displaced by conflict and violence” said 470,500 persons were displaced in Nigeria in 2013 alone thereby making it the country with the third highest number of displaced persons in the world. Nigeria ranks behind Syria with 6.5 million IDPs and Columbia with 5.7 million – IDPs. In a direct affront on Nigeria’s sovereignty yet to be challenged by Jonathan’s administration, the group on August 23, 2014, declared Gwoza town in southern Borno as the headquarters of its newly established “Islamic Caliphate.” The group has been on expansionist drive ever since. Mr. President also failed to tell Nigerian youths that the Nigerian army, one of the largest in Africa, and with an annual budget of nearly N1trillion has been in disarray, often fleeing in the face of Boko Haram attacks and leaving vigilantes and local hunters armed with bows and arrows to take on and frequently overcome the insurgents. It is an open secret that most of the massive budget is usually ferreted away in corruption. In addition, the Jonathan government has not made much capital investment in the military, leaving it with old dysfunctional equipment, and little training. Faced with a rag-tag but fast enemy like Boko Haram, believed to be about 10,000, the Nigerian soldiers have often tactically avoided direct confrontation. Faced with superior fire power some of the soldiers have often deserted while others have openly rebelled against their field commanders – aside reported maneuver into Cameroon on two occasions. About 54 soldiers have so far been sentenced to death for mutiny by a court martial after they refused to fight the militants. Twelve others were also sentenced to death for mutiny in September. About 240 soldiers have so far been dismissed for refusing orders. Soldiers have often complained that they are ill-equipped to fight the insurgents. Jonathan talked gleefully about a generation that would take Nigeria to the moon but he failed to say how the territories under Boko Haram’s illegal occupation would be recovered. The current loss of a vast swathe of parts of the Northeast to the insurgents is not only a direct function of the weakness and ineptitude of the Jonathan’s administration but a flagrant violation of provisions of the Constitution which Mr. President swore to defend. Section 14(2b) of the Constitution provides that “the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.” A total of three Nigerian states are about being carved out of Nigeria, yet Mr. President does not “give a damn” as usual. He said his administration was being unduly accused of corruption and not fighting corruption. “We have arrested more people within this period. Gotten more convictions within this period but everyday they tell us lies,” he said. Who did Jonathan’s administration convict? Rather than prosecute corrupts elements, he has been romancing them. For instance, he withdrew charges against the son of the late dictator, Mohammed Abacha, to enable him contest the Kano State gubernatorial election on the platform of the PDP. He withdrew $1.69m fraud charges against Lagos socialite, Fred Ajudua. Is that how to fight corruption? He squashed the N6.5bn fraud charges against a former Minister of Works, Hassan Lawal. Is that a conviction? The administration also “deliberately” withdrew all criminal charges against four oil marketers suspected to have been involved in a N2bn subsidy fraud. The charges against a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode were also dropped surreptitiously after ‘accepting’ to work with Jonathan. FFK as he is fondly called is presently the Director of Media and Publicity of the Jonathan Presidential Campaign Council. I can bet that this is one of the convictions recorded by Mr. President. http://leadership.ng/columns/401395/jonathans-lagos-diatribe-half-truths-part |
