For potential students;

I think I mentioned this sometime ago but it wouldn't hurt to mention it again.

There is this course that is very hot at the moment. Australians are in desperate need for them....they are known as occupational/industrial hygienists. Masters of Occupational Hygiene and toxicology. These people can work almost everywhere;oil and gas, mining, construction e.t.c. After studies there are post graduate programs for them at oil and gas. Intel has it that Chevron cannot wait for them to finish studies before grabbing them for 5 years post graduate job and fly many of them to the states twice a year. Another intel has it that many of them are making between 1200-1500 dollars a day...this intel is an hygienist. One hygienist I met told me she was on 172.99 dollars per hour for a 10 hour per day 5 days a week job. Rio tinto is another company crazy about them and like I said, no one really knows about them...Australia I heard is desperate for them. They are short of hygienists in many industries.

They have their own registration body like health professionals. Many of them do fly in fly out...companies fly them to and fro location pluys accommodation and feeding all paid for plus their normal wage.

Graduate program is a program put in place by many companies to help a student transition from student life into the workforce...it's like fresh graduate doctors and their one year housemanship/internship...though they are on internship, they have a huge support network at work and also get paid what they should get paid no kobo deducted. I always advise students who have post grad opportunities to go for them...not only do they have full support from their superiors, they also get paid fully like any other worker with their experience.

Cypha8: VETASSESS don't ask for career episode, but they require STATEMENT OF SERVICE / EMPLOYMENT REFERENCE or STATUTORY DECLARATION if you can't get the former. Other documents include:
EVIDENCE OF PAID EMPLOYMENT (2 or more Payslips or Bank Statement),
DEGREE CERTIFICATE & TRANSCRIPT (Certified copies and must be sent DIRECTLY from the awarding institution if from Nigeria),
INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT BIO PAGE or BIRTH CERTIFICATE,
PASSOPRT-SIZED PHOTOGRAPH,
and CV.

What's your nominated profession? Please confirm if your assessing body is VETASSESS first.

Must the transcript be sent from the school? Yes Vetasses is the assessment body.

For people that has gotten positive assessment from Vetasses, pls what document do I need to submit to them?
I know of degree result and transcript, I just want to know more of employment related documents... Do I need to write career episode as in Engineer Australia? Someone should walk me thru this pls.

You can keep the money and buy them here, those are really cheap here if you start earning and you have guarantee too but if you need them urgently, then you can get it in Naija.. Sydney weather is just like that of naija now minus the harmattan breeze.

Just book online and pay in any of their banks. Paid #306000 when I booked.

Yes.. Just the printed copy of your grant and your passport.

It depends on the airline you use.. Etihad stops at Abu Dhabi while Emirates stops at Dubai and sometimes Thailand.. I used Emirates and I enjoyed it. No one has any business to do with your laptop at the airport but I still I advise you come in clean..

Yes he can.. He just need to have a hustling spirit and also do a certificate program to help him apply for jobs. I have seen people sponsoring themselves without help from home here. What aunty Jenny said about earning $2000 per forthnight during holiday is actually true.

bellong: This is a general response to cases like yours. It simply means during the Semester 2, your documents will be re-evaluated against new rules (if any) for the program of your choice. If it meets up, you will be offered a new admission and if not, you will be advised on what to do.

Its normally sent through e-mail... Your CO is suppose to advice you on that....

wahabcoal: Friends that did medicals before lodging, i believe you created an account on ImmiAccout before generating the HAP ID, what subclass should i choose between HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR (573) and VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING SECTOR (572), reason is, i am applying for Vocational training with a pathway to Higher Education sector, like a D2D sort of programme.

Once its D2D then the highest level applies which is Higher education sector (573). You might be qualified for SVP.

Its very possible... i have seen people doing it here... but be warned that it is very stressful.. it will stress you mentally, physically and psychologically.... Its good you have lil help from home.

There is nothing wrong with it as far as they give you declaration of sponsorship letter and meet other requirements like having sufficient fund.

Sydney is fine... its just like home for me... I have started driving around and getting use to it... I somehow feel like not going back to Perth.

manucho: Good day house, pls i need a genuine migration agent registered with the MARA in Australia to handle my partner visa to be with my wife in OZ, i've searched the MARA website but i do not understand how to get a genuine one. We used one and they have been on our case since October last year and yet to submit after i did police report times without numbers, i later went online to find out that globalvisas are scam company and rip offs. My wife keep believing until i went online to find out they are scams. Please people should help with genuine ones there so that this can be done asap. thanks

Google MARA website and check registered agents.... before committing to any agent, check with MARA to see if they are really registered. I wonder why you need an agent though.
