Already tried that bro. The limit is 190k per quarter for one person and the queue on ground in most of their branches is so damn much because each branch can't process more than 1 transfer per day.

Imagine them telling me they already have people on ground till June. I'm just so tired of this whole thing.
How much do you wish to transfer?

I just checked the immigration website now and found this. The title is;

Subclass 573 Document Checklist Streamlined.
Financial documents
*travel costs to and from Australia
*living costs
*tuition costs
*school costs for any school-aged children
The departmental officer assessing your application will need to be satisfied that the funds you are relying on will genuinely be available to your during your stay in Australia. You might be asked by us to provide further evidence regarding your financial capacity.

This is the information on checklist. So what do you think?
University sponsorship is a long thing as the VC alone doesn't have the power to grant such sponsorship, the senate and governing body will be involved, and what happens when they ask for account verification?

From my understanding, SVPs need to satisfy financial requirement but its not compulsory to show financial evidence even though they reserve the right to ask for it.

You can get a letter of commitment from your Uni like Bellong suggested but leave sponsorship for now.
Like i have always said, "follow your checklist!"

Yes lawland, ECU is on SVP but part of the visa requirement is proof of sufficient fund to pay for remaining tuition, return ticket and 18,610AUD per year for living expenses.
I think you are confused here, why not read your requirements again?

Good day everyone. I'm new on this forum so i don't know if i'm directing this question to the right channel but i will really appreciate an immediate response. I work in a university and i'm planning for my masters in Australia (Edith Cowan University). I've already paid my fees and bought my OSHC, i'm about to send my documents for visa application but there's a little confusion concerning financial requirement (proof of sufficient fund).

The university i work for is ready to sponsor me but i need to know if it's acceptable. I've searched the internet and Australia immigration site but i didn't find any information about it. If my employer can sponsor me, can it put any restriction on my visa? I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Do you even need sponsorship in the first place? ECU supposed to be on SVP!

I was talking to a friend rounding up her Masters in perth, she told me that once she's done she'll get automatic membership into Engineers Australia which I know. she then said she'll still want to assess her Nigerian B.Eng to get more points when she wants to apply for PR. I asked her so u can get points for both the Maters and the B.Eng and she said yes...I'm confused please confirm this for me. Thank you very much guys smiley smiley
Naa... She won't, she can only get points for Australian study and her highest qualification depending on which occupation she nominated.

I think i have spoken to you before...? Anyways, try ETI but i will advise you don't rush it, try and look for an Engineers Australia accredited institute for your chosen course, it will save you a lot of stress when you finish.

hello peeps in Australia, I am considering to apply for masters @ the Charlse Darwin University & Edith Cowan University to study Electrical Engineering. I want to know if these university are good universities to acquire good knowledge. They both seem like 1 of the 2 cheapest universities in Australia.
Go for CDU, you kind of get easy state sponsorship when you finish. .. Its a good Uni too

Baba, pls what do u think about going for diploma in oil and gas engineering while I have b.eng already. Is it advice able since diploma is less than a degree and can I still get a visa.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with it... Just tell immi that Nigeria lacked the equipments to teach you the practical skills you needed to succeed, so you decided to get a diploma overseas to gain the practical skills needed.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: Financial Declaration

I xxxxxxxxx, hereby declare that I have access to funds required for my studies at xxxxxxxx University, Australia.

Funds will be made available to me by my father via international bank transfer from Nigeria on a quarterly basis and as at when due.

Sincerely,

If this is not asked for in your checklist, please don't do it. I strongly believe that this people care more about your GTE than your financial ability. If ever there is doubt about your financial ability, they will ask you to provide any document they wish to see. Stating that you have access to enough fund to fund your studies is enough. STICK TO YOUR CHECKLIST!!! except you really got this money in your account or your parents account and you want to show off. Imagine you state that your brother or sister or parents got this money and they ask for evidence and you show a statement of account with different surname.

Has anyone here used the LGA one to get their Visa please?

@ Others that already have their Visa, which one did you use please? Lawland, Laminaria, FutureDon, Bellong et al
I used age declaration

. :-XHello house, please I knw dis question is old but I still will like to know.
Do people actually get visa thru svp without bank statement? if Yes, how common is it. I just want to avoid unnecessary delays when I apply, complicating my application because my Bro in-law is my sponsor.

I promise not to ask dis again.
Why not just stick to the checklist? If they need it, they gonna ask for it, they won't just deny you visa cos of it because its not in your checklist.

I also sent u an anonymous email requesting ur permission to let me pm u but u haven't replied. I would like to show u the Sop that I drafted and ask u someother personal questns.

@lawland, thanks once again. but pls do you feel It's possible that they'll grant me a visa without health insurance to cover me til that Jan dat my OSHC starts.

Also, pls I've been trying to send u an email. I really need assistance with how to write a good SOP.

I also dnt knw d documents I need to show for evidence of future employment to enable my home ties.

Thanks, once again 4 always being there 4 us.
Yes, they will grant you visa regardless of when your OSHC starts as long as you have one in place. By this time 2013, i already got my visa grant for feb start and i traveled almost at once.

Its been long i wrote SOP but i can help you review yours.
Is your application SVP?

It is not all the section on the form that you will fill only those applicable to you like the financial details & section B family unit joining a students & you also have to attach a SOP, teleperformance will charge close to 10k for their service & AUS560 (84k+) for visa charges, so prepare like 100k while going to their office.
Seconded

Thanks for the reply he didn't include my his application cos we married shortly after he got his visa... but we heard that he will have to fill form 157 and in that form he will include my name and send the form over to me so that I can submit it @ the embassy here.... how true is that? Ur reply gave me a lot of relieve.... so much appreciated. Waiting for ur reply again! Thanks
Well, its true but your marriage certificate date must indicate that you both got married after his visa grant.

tnks @lawland.
I'm applying under SVP though I'm a Nigerian.
Also I hope It's not too early to apply now.

My birth certificate is also the one I had from birth and i also have an affidavit of age declaration.
My name was misspelt in the NPC certificate, so I've been using the affidavit.

Also I'm open to suggestions and helpful info from the house regarding my visa application.

God help us all
If your application is SVP, then don't include any statement of account to avoid any complications, just stick to the checklist.
Your birth certificate and age declaration will do.

Hello everyone,
You guys are all doing a fine job here.
pls I'm new to dis thread. I was introduced by a friend n I honestly wish I knew abt dis earlier.
Pls I just payed for a Bsc course in holmesglen TAFE, I'm awaiting my eCOE.
My course starts Feb and I really want to travel in November, can I apply for my visa this Sept.
Also, my brother in-law is my sponsor so I hope I wont have issues.

One other thing is dat when applying to the school I mistakenly wrote dat I haven't travelled b4. now I dnt knw wat to fill in my visa form cos I have travelled to Togo twice with my old passport.
If you are in assessment level 3, your brother inlaw will not be eligible to be your sponsor but your blood sibling can, so suggest he transfer the money to your sisters account or their joint account.
I don't think Togo matters so you need not worry about it .

Good evening to everyone in the house. Pls I need some clarifications. My spouse got his aussie visa about a month ago it was when he got there that he knew that I could depend on his visa..... Now the issues is that he has to provide financial evidence that he can support me during my arrival in aussie and currently he has no money in his new aussie bank account. My question is
1) Can i provide my own statement of account instead of his own?
2) Like how much can I have in my account? Which will convince the v.o that we are financially fit
3) how frequent do applicant get Visa through this route?
Thanks, I await your replies....
Yes, people get visas through this route.
It doesn't matter whose account as long as you both are married, you can also transfer the money to his account or joint account if you wish to. Check the student visa financial requirements page at DIBP website, they estimated financial requirement for spouse there.

Did he declare that he is married in his visa application and did he mention your name?

Really?? Are you applying by yourself or using an Agent? Check DIBP website for student visa checklist and select the one relevant to you. I think Pretoria's website has similar checklist.

I will soon be applying under SVP 573

Please i want to know; what kind of Financial ability letter would I use (without a bank statement)

Suggestions: I thought of submitting a letter of Sponsorship and affidavit from my dad OR i just write a Personal Financial declaration letter(stating i can cater for myself and notarised at the High Court)

...Please help me with any other suggestions as well, its kinda confusing
I suggest you stick to what is on your checklist. ...
