For those that have used Austransaction, please how does it work ?
I am trying to use it for a friend and a name and account number was sent to my email as below;

Please pay #***** into the account below and provide us with receipt. This request is only valid for 24hrs after which a new request will be needed and the new rate (if any) will apply.

Bank: UBA
Account Name: ****** ******

Does it mean I have to pay the naira equivalent to that account first ?
Please proceed with the payment. Austransaction is a registered business in Australia and in Nigeria.

Good afternoon Gurus in the house, please I need someone who has been in my shoes to help me out...4 years ago I was denied American visa., and on January my agent lodged my application, just today, the immigration sent me a message asking why I didn't indicate that I was refused US visa...but the thing is that my agent was the one that filled the form, and never asked me if I have been refused before.... and I'm asked to reply in 14 days..please I want to know the best form to reply this, probably there are people who were once in my shoes, pls help me out..thanks
This is a big problem, but since you claim that its an oversight by your agent, he should know how to handle it.

Greetings e-brothers,
I am a graduate of electrical engineering form a federal university in Nigeria with a second class upper. I intend to apply for masters of engineering in electrical engineering. I’ve checked out some schools like CQUNIVERSITY and Deakin University. But am still confused my chances for PR after graduating because I read that some of the schools are not fully accredited by Engineers Australia.
Can someone please enlighten me on this please?
Secondly, what is AL1 school and what advantages do they have?
If you could ace Ielts or PTE, you have a real chance of getting permanent residence. Don't waste your money on student visa route .....

@Cottyekundayo or anyone here . Pls what are the implications studying a course that is not accredited according to the ACS Australia ? Will that affect getting jobs afterwards or PR applications . Pls i'm just only trying to do my findings so as to decide if i'm on the right path
Applying to accredited courses saves you a lot of stress during skill assessment

Please House help,
My younger brother just got an Australia one year E-visitor visa and we are about to pay the agent an agreed amount of 1m. But we just discovered that the visa has Norway as the passport country (meaning that my brother is holding a Norway passport)..
All other details such as name and passport number is valid and the visa has been verified valid too.
My question is this? Wil they allow him pass at the POE when he presents a Nigerian passport while his visa stated that he has a Norway passport?
Remember that e-visitor visa was gotten without a biometric, it is when u enter that u are captured.

Now we have called the attention of the agent and he said yes they used a Norway contact to process the visa that it was worked in a way that my brother had gone to Norway. He also said lawyers there wil b at the Poe to ensure he passes...
Please advise..
Should he travel with it?
Scam... please do not pay the agent.

Hello guys,

It has been a blessing reading from your experience and expertise! I recently graduated from with 2.1 in petroleum engineering from University of Benin. I want to apply for admission into the the University of Queensland to study for Master of petroleum engineering. But I want to know my chances of getting post-graduate work permit after my study in Australia. Happy to have your opinion. Thank You
You will definitely get a post graduate work visa if your course is a 2 yrs course but the real problem lies on getting a permanent residence.

Well, like you said, your visa will be granted if you can provide evidence that your resumption date is flexible. I advise you write the school now attaching the mail from DIBP as an evidence, persuade them to help you with an official letter stating that you are welcome to start your research course as soon as you arrive. So yeah, write now and don't wait till Monday so your will be one of the first ones to be seen on Monday. You can follow it up with a phone call on Monday as well.
fobak203:
I was contacted some minutes ago to provide further information. On checking my mail, I saw Evidence of study undertaken in Australia. late commencement date letter from your university/institution of study. This made my eyes roll. I immediately became bad with English Language. Can someone translate this to me.

On a second thought, I remembered stating in my SOP that I am doing a research course and my resumption date is flexible.

Let me share my timeline to get insightful contribution as to what is happening here.

Medicals: 22nd November 2017
IElTS result: 8th December 2017
Visa submission: 15th December 2017
Biometrics: 18th December 2017
Resumption date:1st January 2018
Next available date:1st July 2018

My thoughts: I think my CO looked into my case and decided since I am going for a research course, if I can provide a late commencement date letter, they would grant me visa without the need for deferment.

The only wahala be say today na Friday and that's Saturday midnight in Aussie. If not I for give them the Kate commencement date letter immediately.

My Question: Has anyone been in this kind of situation before?
How feasible is it to get such letter from Macquarie University. If anyone has collected this kind of letter before. Me nor expect am oh, I don put mind for deferment. E be lyk say God dey use this guy.

I will appreciate any input, suggestions comments and way to go on thus matter. Anticipating your response e-fam

Bros,
so Yabatech is rated better than Uniben?

Please, are the criteria for the sectioning mentioned?

I would suggest we contribute $1 to a purse and buy this holy grail.
University, polytechnic and College are rated differently.

I think your best bet is to first confirm if such certificate is assessed by Australian standard and on which level is it placed, before making the huge payment of $1000. You can also contact @ Lawland to assist you to check that. Had similar issue with Trade Test Certificate recently before it was discovered that the certificate is not assessible by Australian standard.
Mate, Actually Trade test certificate is assessed as below cert IV and only TRA can make decision on the certificate. Found the caveat when i was looking into chytal question.

NABTEB (advance level) certificate from Government technical college.
Advanced national Technical certificate is equivalent to Cert IV if the course duration is one year and obtained after national Technical certificate.
