The so called new years is not a Christian holiday. Say Christians decided to accept and celebrate it doesn't mean it originates from Christendom. Christians were earlier using the Jewish new year which is 1st April but with the invention of the Gregorian calendar which was confirmed to be accurate by governments, Christians (the early Roman Catholic church) in obeying the government of the day, accepted it except for the Jews who still continued with the April 1st till this day and were touted by the government of the day as fools hence the popular slogan "April fool" being acted on every April 1st.

Christians in every year has only 2 holidays - Christmas and Easter. But we cannot count how many numerous holidays the muslims have and celebrate every year. They are too many. This last Christmas and New Year holidays, the buhari and his fellow lost souls decided not to pay workers their salaries bcs he wants to punish Christians and make them suffer not enjoying and celebrating with their loved ones. Not even any welfare package shared. But in every islamic holidays, welfare packages are always shared in excess to muslim celebrants in particular as they head and dominate everywhere.
