Of course, it's a 'juicy' job. Things of this nature are bound to happen... Just stop telling them to our faces. It could dampen some people's morale.

Most people are heading to the interview just like they did the test. If it comes, fine. If it doesn't you won't slit your wrist cause you missed the offer.

Do we still really need to establish what it means for a PORTAL to be closed as at today? Pls as long as your portal is opened you will be invited for interview and DPR customer service is not lying when they tell you invites will be in batches (This week and next week) those with pending are those who will get their dates, time and venue next week. Don't panic

Who are those in these different categories; merit, quota system and federal character?

Lastly, will the upcoming interview be based on any of the aformentioned categories and are we competing against just everybody or only people within 'our' state of origin?

I didn't get the mail as well but my portal is open and the venue, date and time of the interview are boldly written there.

Also noticed a change in time from 8:00am to 10:00am from last night update on the portal.
So don't fret, the mail and message can still come before the close of the day.

Not disputing the fact that you have 'guru' friends but do you realise that NLNG technical operator was solely for HND holders whilst DPR recruitment included HND, B.Sc, M.Sc and even PhD holders that were below age 40 at the time of the test.

Do the maths. Putting in consideration; the population vis a vis the number of smart guys present in both of the exams.

From the above, you could get a near answer to why your 'guru' friends didn't make the cut, that is, if truly the open and closed portals are determining factors for invitation to the next stage.

Some opined that those with 'appliciaton portal closed' means you are out of the race while some posited; you are still in the race.

I enjoin you to be calm and wait for DPR's next move, as nobody knows what's up their sleeves.

Profile close are so many while to update are not that same thing with those moved. But moved have more chances here while those with open profile might be few to add up to the number

I can remember those that had 'object moved' were sent a mail and a message and some of them were later able to access their profile after they made a call through to the snapnet team.

I will like you to elaborate more on all you wrote up there, as it's not so easy to decipher and it contradicts your earlier post as well.

Last week, your friend's uncle working with DPR was the source. This morning it was your uncle, now it's an anonymous genuine source. Even last week, you gave contrasting reports about object moved, closed portal and editable portals. Which are we suppose to believe now?

Chief, everybody is jittery and anxious as you are but please try and pipe low on the speculations. They are divergent in all fronts.

That said; It's imperative to have it in mind that they will call when they deem it fit to call.

We keep hoping and praying.

A lot is actually going on. Two of my friends with portal closed got the sms and mail yesterday. Called them yesterday and dropped their details. Gained access to their accounts this afternoon. Don't really know what that means.

This afternoon, a mail was sent out to the folks that got message and mail but couldn't access their portal, that they can now access their portals.

I guess they've solved the glitches. People with closed portal without mail amd message should also keep trying, anything can still happen.

change d state of origin to another state, then back to d previous one. d drop down menu will b there. select ur local gov of origin.

for d local gov of residence, type it in d space for d city. it will reflect in ur address when u update. I hope dis helps!

From what i'm seeing here, i don't think there is a drop down for two LGAs, just one.

As you and the other guy as posited. . . The LGA should be that of your state of origin.

I got the help line and i already made the call to them. I pray the issue is solved quick.

just as EngrVin has rightly said, it's the LGA of your State of Origin. As for the dropdown issue, I'll advise you use a PC (not mobile device) and a good browser like chrome or up-to-date firefox. If this issue persists, place a call to the DPR helpdesk. That way, your issue may be promptly addressed compared to when sending a mail which may not be attended to.

But wait o, why would you even want to change your LGA? Is it that you made an error earlier or you're trying to play smart? No offence please

Firstly, i used an up-to-date google chrome on a system to edit the details.

Secondly, on your question of out-smarting the system, No sir! I think i used my residential address' LGA instead of the State of Origin's. It's of course a terrible oversight, as it shows it's non-editable.

I'd go with your advice of calling their hot-lines before noon. I wouldn't mind if you could help me with their functioning lines. Thanks for the reply sir and no offence taken.

The first, the portal has been closed for days without editing anything, didn't get the mail and text message.

The other, portal has been accessible for days, got the mail and message this morning to edit.

Don't know what's your personal deduction from this. If you are on either divide, just keep praying and remain hopeful.

Based on the public notice released by DPR today, The following could be said:

1. Those hoping and praying that the recruitment process be cancelled because of ordinary letter can now go to sleep or rest in peace.

2. I cannot vividly recall CBN and FIRS releasing such statement when it was alleged that they are doing backdoor recruitment.

3. From paragraph 3 of the notice . . . "rigorous and competitive" . . . hmmm what are they up to this time? I trust DPR and #IStandWithDPR based on previous recruitment history. Even though NNPC, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, etc do not show candidates their test scores, if DPR can show theirs, candidates will be glad.

4. From paragraph 5 (last one), ". . . the outcome and subsequent stages of the exercise", I suspect there is more than one stage remaining. There might be something else before the oral interview. Could they be considering assessment centres or second test?

5. For those trying to force it down on others that the process has been hijacked and everybody hoping to get it by merit is wasting time; if you are convinced that the final list is already prepared through backdoor, then, why are you here on this thread? Why not go to the Access Bank ATMs in Unilag and watch movies? I heard they are showing por.n videos there. It is massive hypocrisy to force it on others that it's strictly a connection thing, yet you are hanging around here. Comot make those wey believe continue!

It won't. Your login details for the test requires your email (as username) and the phone number you used to register for the recruitment (as password). I believe they did that because passwords always bring up issues.

What are the details needed to log in to the designated system for the test when you get to the test venue. I'm having issues logging in to my portal after I already got a mail and print out for the test It keeps popping out "your credentials doesn't match'

I don't know if this could impede my chances of writing the test.

Anybody born in the US automatically becomes a citizen of the US regardless of the nationality of the parents.

Only parents that hold diplomatic passports are not allowed and people have found ways to circumvent that!

You can google 'citizen by birth in the US' for more clarification.
