I had someone who applied with 13M Naira, he is now in the University of Ottawa... So it's enough for a year program, you just have to break it down for the VO to understand the different areas you will be putting ur finances on while in Canada... Also are you a self sponsor? Peace
hello chief,

your post caught my attention, i'm applying as a self sponsor and i have close to 10m. i will be applying for a masters at mcgill, manitoba or ottawa. please i'd love to get some insight to why you asked if he was a self sponsor

If your due date is 21st then your maximum top up date would have been 28th. Your due date is day one of the 7 days. Your top up should reflect in your next ROI though just follow up with your account officer

I made a complaint and i was told the day i made the payment was after he 7 days period. How possible?

we are just wailing here like PDP, if you have any move to make just make it now don't wait cos in another two weeks everything will be over and this thread will come to an end.

All this hope of wait, I don't buy it cos it's obvious things are very wrong. The truth is there is no merit or stakeholders list.

During the interview that they were asking most of you if you know anyone in dpr or govt what were you guys thinking? That was the most important question of the interview others were just for the gallery, some of us were so happy we got all our questions right and created a good impression.

I have learnt alot from this recruitment and it just made me registered for ielts today, I need to leave this shithole.

This part gave the interviewers out sha. Nevertheless, one should just be positive till the end.

Me don collect the letter tire for my dream, i sure say i go still.collect another one this night. Na meh e become reality i de pray.

No shakes bros. Keep your head up.

The people i pity most are those above age 28 and the unemployed cos i know how it feels putting your hopes on something and seeing it crashing in bits before your eyes. It hurts so bad.

I have just collected my apl at Maiduguri zonal office of Dpr. I don't care if you believe it or not. For your information, 3 of us receive it this morning at the zonal office. I overheard one of the staffs saying "this boys are gurus ooo.." the statement caught my attention so after collection I reached out to the other two guys to ask them few questions. Both are GTs, 1st class students with masters both. And both received the same calls almost the same time yesterday. Let me tell you few things about myself personally. I also finished with 1st class, had Master's and currently running my PhD program. I have registered with two professional bodies. The Aptitude test was very easy for me, I am very sure I scored more than 95%, my interview was tough, they asked me too many questions and I was wrong in some of them.

I wish to say more especially what happened at the zonal office today with photos proofs, but too many negativity in this room. So yeah, believe it or not, it's your cup of tea. Thank you.

Very lovely write-up.

But how are you so sure you scored 95% when 3 of the 45 questions were deliberately left with wrong answers.

If you missed 2, you scored 96% approximately, missed 3, it goes 93.3%.

Bros, i do not have issue with you getting letter but above 95% scores sounds like an exaggeration. 91, 89.. yes but above 95%.

Except unless you went into the exam hall with the ICE 2012 GMAT. Even at that how on earth did you permutate over 45 correct questions out of 450 possible questions.

I do not wanna rain on your parade but i met some first class that also didn't make the initial cut off untill DPR reduced for them and contacted them on a later date. No be by first class bros. Men plenty wen ace first class for here.

Congrats on your letter though.

Hey folks, it was never meant to be a smooth level playing ground for all applicants. On my interview day, i met a lady who was practically worshipped by DPR staff, from the ones screening to the ones directing to interview rooms. She was even asked why she came all the way from such a distance(name of place withheld).

Lets just keep calm till next week, i do have a strong feeling some folks will be called but then the level of professionalism showcased by DPR is nothing to write home about. They should have just released the list together with the merit.

All will definitely be well.

Hey sir, do not limit your unborn kids because of DPR.They could as well be extremely brilliant kids topping their peers at top ivy league schools of the world and then proceed to work for top, world class organisations.

I don't think the imafidon's kids will need any long legs to get jobs out there in the UK.

Nobody is disputing the fact that letters were done 2 weeks ago. I even confirmed that here 2 weeks ago. However, i don't think you are asking your sources the right questions. If letters were typed 2 weeks ago don't you think the date between giving them out and resuming will be affected if by now it hasn't gotten to the successfuls? Please ask your sources what is delaying contacting successfuls. The 1st delay was the levels they will place certain experienced hires next was locations to post certain candidates that they needed to check with either them personally or their stakeholders then issue of changing resumption dates. New resumption will be in August as i was told . We will be contacted soon. Location of Mr shakur is irrelevant here please. he left for abuja this morning. Letters cannot be done anywhere asides Head office.

NO LETTERS HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED TO ZONAL OFFICES YET! THIS IS PURE FACT.

Tami, sorry to dusturb you. My only concern surrounds what marvel64 said some posts about course of study not in tandem with the course applied for.

Please, could you please help throw more light on this? I know you said something contradictory to his assertion. I really want to know what's the crux of the matter concerning that?

Thanks in anticipation.

And BTW, i have a feeling the top echelon at DPR HR are following the thread holistically, dishing out dates, wondering how the folks here are getting the infos, then, smiling and laughing over lunch at the speculators anytime the dates predicted fail.

My opinion though.

Most candidates that applied for a position not relating to their course of study were shortlisted for the aptitude test because they had sponsors that submitted their names for consideration. There was a lot of pressure. They had to accept the names to fulfil all rightenous for relief. To be honest, the some shortlisted candidates for the test were picked at random. That’s why some persons that were highly qualified for certain positions were left out in the beginning.

Good evening sir,

Most not all like you opined cos some of us dont even know the office rat at DPR not to talk of gatemen. But in a case where the 'not all' also got the mail/message to update their profile on the 24th of october. What chances do you think these guys have against the back drop of your 'related course' comment?

You made mention of God and destiny as well. I guess when all chips are down and push comes to shove we'd have to hold on tighter to the last factor.

Please sir, do justice to my first paragraph.

Thanks.

Hello sir,

A case in point here. Are you saying, a computer engineer that applied for the role of electrical engineering and did excellently well in the test as well as the interview would be dropped for an electrical engineer that performed below par or is computer engineering regarded as a 'related' course to electrical engineering in this context?

Please do give an insight into this.

Seems nobody is even having any little clue anylonger.

When they had clues and the clues didn't come to fruition due to some internal issues or thereabout; some folks threw tirades at them like they were the causes of the flip in switch.

Nobody wants to be quoted again and tagged a liar or attention seeker, so you and i should understand the silence.

My submission is; DPR should make sure MY NAME is on that list even if it takes another 3 months before they release the list; if not the waiting and agitation might just be a waste.

I do not have a crystal ball but i do believe something positive will come out of this long wait. God helping.

We wait.

Why do people always say, it's their first post, does it make their points more valid? I would prefer we don't even speculate anymore. Interview that was conducted in December 2017, I see why Nigeria cannot make speedy progress, as every system seem to be so slow with unnecessary protocols.

Even some potential resourceful staff might have gotten better offers and will not accept DPR when it eventually comes. I really hope things get better and faster someday. Happy new month.

First bank, delloite, schlumberger, nestle etc who are among the fortune 100 companies to work with, they sometimes stretch their recruitment to about 5 or 6 months with lesser candidate coming for the interviews. DPR, from what we read slated 3500 candidates(which is a lot if compared to these private coys) for the interview and as we all know, there are many indices and yardsticks to pick the preferred candidates ranging from courses' categories, states' categories, merit, plus all the bottleneck bureacracies and politics involved.

You'd agree with me it wasn't going to be a smooth ride. I understand they could have done it a lot more better cause of the emotions involve but men, this is nigeria. 5 months after interview is still not too bad. Let's just be patience. Let's take solace with the fact that there is hope and the recruitment has not been cancelled. The last one was cancelled and started all over again. It spanned for 3 years or more.

Yeah, i agree with you that so many resourceful graduates might have gone ahead with something better but be rest assured there are more resourceful and brilliant guys to feel the slot.

God bless you ma'am. Happy workers' day.

We could argue on her tolerance level but ma'am we are molded differently. Writing a post and ending it with SMH wasn't necessary. Also insinuating she pays to get her info and using the word 'bullshit'. I thought that was derogatory and unnecessary but what do i know.

From my POV, i think the attack was borne out of envy, jealousy and hatred.

You know in life, people always wish they were the gold fish of a certain cause or may be a vanguard who everybody turns to for help or solace. In the case where they can't attain that position, they feel agitated and start revolting against the folks that are fortunate to be at these positions. Low self esteeem?.

I remember she predicted the dec 4th interview and also predicted the addition of more folks to the pool of candidates for the interview, which some people did attest to that on this thread.

Nobody is saying she will aid anybody in getting the job but keeping us abreast of happenings, in-house, helps dose some amount of tension.

It's so disheartening and harrowing to read the way some folks act here.

Tamihawt87 and walush have been given up-to-date informations on the thread, i'm sure they even go out of their ways to get these relevant info.

It all started when some folks started planting unnecesarry seed of discord by rating these two entities with useless % scores; thereby putting both of them at loggerhead. Now tamihawt87; who has been one of the eyes of the gods has deactivated, neverdown has also gone into oblivion. Now we are left with only walush, i hope you guys are happy now.

A thread filled with tribralist and stupid misorgynist who only come here to massage their egos. That's why the country is still at this backward stage.

Tamihawt87, please do not 'bullshit' away yet, a lot of us are still banking on you and walush for info.

hahahhahahahh. thank God I quickly removed the second post I posted after that. were you also aware that nnpc did silent recruitment as DPR too. and this was one of the fights that happened between kachukwu and the GMD nnpc. hence they quickly told the candidates to go back and do it the right way. it was because people were complaining hence everything came out. sit down there make pant dey wear you. that same recruitment still stands. only this time they are forcefully doing it with you people just to shut the masses up. nothing has changed.
This is so head-scratching, i'm so shell-shocked!

To think the above is NEWS is what i find funny.

Delusion of grandiose of some sort?

But that's contrary to what we read in the print and electonic media. You must be close ally to Mr. Kachukwu and Engr. Baru to have access to this first-hand, unalloyed info.

But what do i know, i guess i am a certified less-privileged citizen.

This was your post one year ago, with an ultra-confident claim that the interview has been going on 'sinnnnnceeee'. I guess the interview is still going on till date and still, your phantom minister's cousin daughter's sister's friend hasn't still gotten a slot.

You even confidently asked people not to apply for the job as you happen to be the greatest propangadist of our time. (((Read your previous post)))

News flash: the recruitment is still on going and the 'less-privileged' are gradually strolling to Zion or Mecca as the case may be.

My advice; be calm and stop the back and forth. If it doesn't come as expected, we will still go home with our head held high. Atleast we tried.

She doesn't have to tell us what we are already conversant with. It's just like telling me PHCN won't interrupt power supply for 72 hours straight. Not possible!

Of course, it's a 'juicy' job. Things of this nature are bound to happen... Just stop telling them to our faces. It could dampen some people's morale.

I have hinted. the only hope for the common man is to be exceptionally good and yes the grace of God.
Madam carry your wahala and go naa.
Enjoy your slot, that's if truly you have been dashed one. And let those that don't have the top shots try their luck.

FYI, all those people you mentioned still reckon and bow to the Almighty God or Allah as the case may be, in their closets.

So be calm. Some will get the job on merit even if it's 50. The ones they didn't call for the interview did they die?
