If you are debating the propriety of eating a religious festive food, then you are not hungry. |
mecusbosco: And where did the producer get the story from if it didn't happen? It is called fiction. I can similarly ask thus: where did the producers of Superman get the story from if it did not happen? |
This was fan made. Stop misleading folks. |
iziegbby: Your not on whatsappI am. |
iziegbby: Ok . I've lived in az.....what's your name? Can you please delete my number from the quote? I'll give you my name later. |
iziegbby: I didnt know one says good morning in the pit of the night,It may be pedantic, but it is technically correct. |
iziegbby: What's your number777-777-7777. I have a Tucson area code because I got the number when I was in Arizona last year. Be quick because I will erase this post soon. |
iziegbby: Cal state long beach. Your not to far from me...u have whatsapp?Yes I do. I said Good morning because it's 12:27 A.M. |
iziegbby: I'm a women in nursing school based in the u.s. All of us Nigerians who are living in the state's lets meet here!Good morning. I am a student at Cal State Long Beach and I have no life besides school and work. |
carefreewannabe: Disgusting topic and comments. And we are the ones who serve God the most. Our country is a cesspool of hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance. |
I have nothing intelligent to add to this discussion. I'd like to apologize for taking up this space. |
Sagamite: Kanye and Jay Z are not ugly. If you want to see ugly, just go to Muritala Muhammed International Airport and watch Nigerian men pass by. Kanye and Jay Z meet a minimum threshold for most women. The fact they are have "intelligence, money, power, swag etc" means many women around the world would be a bit creamy for them. If they are Tyson Beckford, then they would be the whole package, but their current package is already a very high and exclusive package to attract virtually any hot women on this planet we call Earth. The Tyson Beckford look is just a bonus.LMAOO!!!! ![]() Haba Sagamite! Bobo yio gbadun at all. Ki lode? See as you take finish us.... |
Terdoo2k4: 1. Someone who believes Jesus came and died for his/her sinsSo since our African ancestors didn't believe in Jesus, we can then conclude that they were not God fearing people. In fact, since more than half of the world do not believe in Jesus, we can similarly conclude that they are not God fearing people. |
She is beautifully and cutely ugly. This is what you get when you adorn a kpomo seller with classy attire. |
I find it ironic whenever some Nigerians claim that Americans have no culture. Let us step back and analyse the following: * We converse and write in a foreign language: English * Most, if not all, of us are currently attired not in our native clothing but in western clothing. * Our major religions are foreign * So many know more about western music, movies, and politics than we do our own. * So many of us try our best to act foreign. (It pains me when I see someone who can clearly converse in Yoruba, but they elect to have a conversation with me in their disjointed English.) If Americans have no culture, why are so many Nigerians trying to be like them? |
Obviously the owner of this account is either a man or is trolling; in fact, it could be both. |
Too many Nigerians are not only fearful, but they also lack the ability to reason as a normal human being would. The comments on this thread have shown me why our country is still in shambles: Nigerians are sheep! Who told you that this Chris Oyakhilome or any other clergyman is a man of God? So if a self-acclaimed "man of God" commits a moral crime, then we should leave all judgments to God, but if an ordinary man commits the same moral crime, then it will be okay to condemn him? Why do you sheep treat these men like they are different from you? Aren't they humans like you? In fact, so called "men of God" should be held to higher standards than the general public, for they stand on the pulpit and consistently tell others how to live their lives. Whenever a man steals a paltry sum, instead of extending the same courtesy that they do to "men of God", they throw a tire around the man's neck and burn him to death. Here in the states, even if a pastor is molesting a boy in the church, people still stand by him. My God, you Christians are horrible! |
First, I would be remiss if I did not commend the authors of original threads on Nairaland. They are amongst the most important members of this community, for without them we would have nothing to converse about. Whenever I come across an especially well-written and articulate thread on Nairaland, I always try to acquaint myself with the author, so I will peruse their posts and threads. In such case, after reading their posts, I often suspected that they did not write the article because the command of written English that they exhibited in their article was lacking therein, so I googled parts of the article, and lo and behold, I am directed to the original author. This is plagiarism. In fact, so many posters will dole out praise to the thread creator, thinking him or her to be the brain behind the beautiful piece, and the thread creator will revel in the glory of a piece that he or she did not create. Seun and his moderators need to create rules that will explicitly dictate how to reference other people's works. I understand that the staff of this forum would be hard pressed to enforce such rules in all threads; however, these rules can---and should---be enforced for threads that appear on the front page. I initially wanted to give a list of culprits, but I decided against it, because I believe that so many of them did not have bad intentions, but that they were simply ignorant. If you found out that someone else has taken credit for the work you did, you would be incensed, so in the spirit of fairness, we should all try to always allocate the right credit to whom it is due. |

Would it kill you to give credit to the original writer? So many NLers tend to do this---you folks nonchalantly copy and paste another person's work without credit. Normally, this is how you are supposed to go about it: BBA sponsored by Coca-Cola: $300,000 (N48m). MTN Project Fame: N7.5m & SUV. Etisalat Nigerian Idol: N5m & multi-million naira contract. Glo naija sings: N5m & SUV. Gulder ultimate search: N10m plus endorsements & SUV. COWBELL Mathematics competition: N100k. Lagos State Spelling Bee: N50k. School scrabble: N25k. Cool-FM spelling game: A goodie bag filled with Amila drink. And someone is asking why there is so much failure in WASSCE?” That was a message I received on my phone some days ago. Read more |
agrovick: Ptoocool! Plz I need your permission to include this in my dept's magazine. Pls dont say noHe didn't write it. He culled it from http://www.punchng.com/opinion/before-all-our-children-become-musicians/ |
Even the baby sef dey use football age. Naija, I hail o. |
generalia: University artist can we listen to your music?that you dont like their music does'nt mean others dont too,so backoff!!!One does not have to play football to critique football players. One does not have to know how to act in order to critique actors. One does not have to know how to sing in order to critique musicians, and the list goes on. The poster that you quoted was simply stating his opinion and he did not imply that others did not like 2faces's album; he was just speaking for himself. |
kobonaire: It's just another normal day on NLLOL. I know, but it seems like some folks on NL are creating new ways to showcase their talents. |
Mobsync: White men find practical solutions to problems while black men run to churches and start shouting, "Holy Ghost fire". Even the Bible said, "Heaven helps those who help themselves". Our own "help" to ourselves is by running to church and mosques to ask for help; an irony.I agree with you, but the phrase "Heaven helps those who help themselves" is NOT in the Bible. If you find it, I owe you $100. |
The amount of ignorance on this thread is staggering. |
Chai; someone has smoked some good igbo. |
Oxide65: So Sorry if I'm bugging you Please. is it possible to send me a soft copy of it? The one I just told u about has no soft copy. If u can I'll send my email add. Sorry to bother u Please. Just that this one I have is so gross.I do have a pdf copy, but it is very large, so I can't upload or email it. But here is a pdf link (12.9 MB). Don't click this link on your phone! Right-click on it and choose Save link as. Note: this book is very dense and hard to read; hence I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. |
^ No sir I am not familiar with it, but I will check it. In the States, we use so many different texts for analysis, and the most popular one is The Principles of Mathematical Analysis, by Walter Rudin. |
Oxide65: I'm very grateful Lebesgue. That helps alot. You are most welcome. Oxide65: Could u Please give me the name n author of that text? What text? If you are referring to the proof, I didn't copy it from a text. I wrote it myself! Oxide65: And are u an analyst? No, I am not. I am an undergraduate studying Mathematics, and I intend to be an algebraist. |
Oxide65: Please can someone help with this question. If (Xn) diverges and (Yn ) is bounded, prove that (Xn+Yn) diverges. Thanks.Part 3 of 3.
