Christyiji: Yours is still better of, I applied since 20th May, and tomorrow will make it exactly 6 weeks of submission yet still it is in background check, eligibility has not even started and I ask what exactly is delaying them and my classes will start first week of September and I have mandatory orientation to attend in August.
The thing dey tire person. I am facing the exact same issue, to be honest, and starting to get worried. My application doesn't seem to be moving. I applied on June 2nd to resume in August. I did upfront medical after submission and just waiting for them to ask me to go for medicals so I could upload the medical result I was given.

Autos › Re: Naira Devaluation Pushes Up Vehicles Duties By 40% by Leebeedo(m): 9:59am On Jun 26, 2023 |
NuCypher: That explanation is insufficient. Fuel is the worst example you could use. Nigeria generates its own crude and there's supposedly a refinery which should come into operation shortly and which, again, is supposedly able to meet the country's local needs. In effect, your explanation does not justify a near 40% increase in rates. Sure, fuel was just a quick example I could think of. A more realistic example would be payment of expatriates that fixes machineries at the sea port, they get paid in dollars. |
Autos › Re: Naira Devaluation Pushes Up Vehicles Duties By 40% by Leebeedo(m): 8:41am On Jun 26, 2023 |
NuCypher: The bigger question is if the customs is transacting in dollars or naira? This is a very important question we should be asking, if the government itself can start dollarizing the economy. Last I checked, we spend naira in Nigeria, not dollars. I'll answer the question for you, no worry. As it stands now, Nigeria's economy is heavily dependent on the exchange rate btw Naira and Dollar because the economy is almost 100% import driven. Even the fuel that cranes use at the sea port to offload containers are imported and we pay for the fuel in dollars. Cost of dollar goes up, running cost at the seaport goes up which will eventually increase service cost.......trickle down economics! |

@ OP, I live overseas and best believe, I work round the clock to make ends meet because of responsibilities from family and friends in Nigeria. I used to be a university lecturer in Nigeria but God bless the day I took the drastic decision to leave that country that has ruined so many lives. How can a university lecturer, PhD holder beg to feed his family? Since I left Nigeria in 2012, no salary increase with hyperinflation. A PhD holder in a Nigerian university now earns around 160k/month and thats like $200. How much is a bag of rice? Nigerians living overseas had high hopes in this last election because the responsibilities of sending money back home was unbearable and it seems it will get worse with this new administration. This is what happens when you give recycled and habitual thieves access power. |

Wagner can never win a war inside of Russian territory.
I wonder what their motivation is.
They will be crushed in a matter of days with air strikes.
Suicide mission! You wonder what their motivation is? Have you been reading the news lately? Just in case you've been asleep, they were attacked (air strike) by Russian forces and lost hundreds of soldiers. |

Facing war on multiple fronts is a very difficult task. Even when you had the support of the Wagner group against Ukraine, you faced difficulties. Now, imagine facing Ukraine and the Wagner group at the same time. Russian soldiers will be heavily demoralized as they would have concluded that they would never succeed this feat. Nothing defeats an army of soldiers as poor morale! |

NOHOLDSBAR: Another dumbest retard masquerading as a s.art person. You will get a call log if the server was even connected to during upload. Even at that, it's just a a call log, an attempt at reaching the server. Listen dumbo, this all a waste of time anyway. What's important is that your incompetent religious fanatical leader needs to show that the result that was eventually uploaded to the server are totally different from what his agents signed for at the polling unit. All these rubbish narratives are just a bunch of cacophony that will lead nowhere. Hope you have enough IQ to comprehend that.
Now STFU and get lost. Just imagine, what you just posted is the same thing I posted but 4 sure, you don't know what you're talking about. The call logs will make the PUT and POST entries. Why are my even explaining to you? You must be hungry, so dm me make I send you money for food as usual. |

xenten: I am a software engineer with years of experience in building scalable enterprise applications. The AWS servers may not have glitches. The Question you should be asking is for application logs to be provided. AWS is an hosting environment on which you can run services developed by other programmers. Is the application scalable? Was the application tested for performance under extreme load? Uploading Documents/Images are resource intensive. Peradventure the applications might have failed under intensive document upload process. If the application is using micro services, what happened to the service orchestrators? What happened to the load balancer?
The AWS logs are not enough to enough to proof the health of the application. True, AWS logs are not enough, but if other uploads pulled through (i.e the senate and the rest) why didn't the presidential uploads pull through? At least, the AWS logs would show the call attempts from the SP (app side) even though they failed due to connectivity issues as claimed by INEC. The truth is that INEC blocked the upload of the presidential upload and the question should be why did they block it? They've been caught in one lie already regarding this AWS server being down, they better provide an explanation. But it's 🇳🇬, anything goes! |

NOHOLDSBAR: Dumbo, not the server getting overwhelmed but the upload system itself. Mo matter how good your server is, you Still need a fast and capable bandwidth to upload anything. The network was not processing the uploads as fast as necessary. But it processed the senate, gubernatorial and house of reps? You obviously don't know what you are talking about. I am into Cloud Infrastructure and can tell you with authority that if the transmission was the issue and not the server getting overwhelmed as you blindly claim, the calls made to the server during the transmission attempts will be logged. That's why we have a saying in IT that " the logs don't lie". I'm afraid, you're the dumb one here! |

sreamsense: Do you expect it to have glitches before? What will be the essence of security measures INEC engineers put in place to secure AWS server? INEC engineer will tell you they resist attacks against the server from their end. And can you even defend internet connectivity issues from device users? LP can't prove this, they are only wasting time. By the time the engineer is crossed examine now, he may make LP feel like mumu Read what you typed again. So INEC engineers are the ones protecting AWS servers security wise? You think AWS is a cyber cafe in your neighborhood? We have too many kids/illiterate in this forum. Just imagine the confidence with which you spewed that thrash out of your brain. You even got people liking your senseless post, they must be senseless like you obviously. For now amlodopine alone works. I did reduce salt intake and my family to don't like salt. I got BP from excess consumption of alcohol. Somehow, my lifestyle have changed due to buhari induced hardship and I have lost some weight though, I still take some alcohol due to addiction. I don't know if more loss of weight will cure me palmanently. At least my stomach is now flat, all thanks to Buhari Weight loss would definitely help.
