I do not know if you are aware, Ethopian Airlines Online Platform was hacked recently.
So many people paid to fraudsters account; the issue is still being resolved at the head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.

If you want to confirm this, visit the office,you will find a big roll up banner placed in the middle of the reception, advising passengers not to pay to other accounts.

Last week, a travel agent, who is a friend , called me to narrate her very bad ordeal with a customer. They booked ticket and a confirmation was sent. On the day of customer's travel, the airline didnt acknowledge the ticket. The pax couldn't fly.

She had to use her money running into millions to cover the issue, uptil now, she has not got a rebate.
We are here to learn, air views and exchange ideas; irrespective of the advancement or seamlessness of doing things, always ask questions , before you act.
That is wisdom.

May we not fall victim , then , you will know that the online app is not reliable.
Let everyone share their thoughts on issues, this is a learning platform OK!

In a country like Nigeria, still ravaged with online scam and duplicate websites of some airlines, with the plenty network issues and the inconsistencies of balancing, one would always be advised to play safe.

You are flooding the trend with your ticket query. In the last 24hrs if you had left your comfort zone you would have had a solution.

Wonder why some persons always have negative thoughts or experiences about some of this simple things. Buying of tickets very easy to do, yet some would paint it to look difficult.
To buy a ticket is done directly from the airline; online or at any of their outlet.
Or through a third party, agency/ticket rep.

Most of the sites are/would have a secure payment, which is just like ordering for a product on Amazon or any online store out there, so all this money disappeared no ticket or not allowed to board is bizarre.

I don't know how to some persons, they always know it happened to someone or this. My question is when would it happen to you directly so you would give a first hand report of things and not half-baked story, that someone may have related an incomplete scenario or events that happened.

Essentially means know your job or about the offer, pay, how you learnt about the job, experience you have had in the job, your contract details, your previous occupation, your work start date, end date and so on. Just normal questions you would expect at POE for skilled worker arrival.

Experience(s) is/are important bits on a CV which potential employers look at. Therefore, I would expect you actually earn the Experiences rather than just adding them. Specifically, you know you would be working with vulnerable persons and least you want is your inexperience to get you into trouble.

Would previous employers be contacted? is left for your new employer. Some may do, some won't.

I think IELTS test is of two types viz: Academics and General Training. The General Training is what is used for work visa. IELTS UKVI for General Training.

UKVI means UK Visa and Immigration[b][/b].

We have IELTS UKVI for Academics and IELTS UKVI for General Training.

So when you're talking about IELTS UKVI, always try to be specific.

And what category do you think skilled worker visa fall under?

Again any you do, be sure it would be acceptable for the visa category you would be applying for. Otherwise, you would have to take another test or possibly denied the visa.

VAF is visa application form. Tb test is for your residency. However, the important thing is you upload it.

Residency is your status in the country of your stay, proof of citizenship, your passport, work permit, or whatever and possibly address proof of address, NIN.. Tb test is not residency, but it is an essential of the visa category you are applying for which is on the VAF, so would fit VAF. Yet if you put TB test under employment history, you won't get penalized for doing so..

IMO you don't have to stress yourself on large deposits done in 2020 if you dont have such transactions in 2022. Unless in 2020 you stated that it were part of your income/wages. Then you would have to explain why you're not earning that now(I.e if your income has now decreased/increased).

However, if you feel its safer to explain, just state in the additional section box- "that the funds which was reason for refusal(if that were the case) were gifts from your then boyfriend, however you have no such current entanglement, as such no such gifts, also you wish to state clearly that it were no ill-financial practise done by you to obtaining a visa during previous application".

As recent as you may think/see, right of appeal was afforded to standard/visitor applicants, soon they may take out paid calls/mails and administrative complaints off for some visa category (standard/visitor applicants).

Something like if you do complaint for standard visa application you chop 10years ban especially if they were right
