hunee: Goodevening.
I think we need to create spaces for people to understand visa categories, and what best suit their applications. I also think bogus documentation and eventual submission affects visa success.
How do we discuss these issues elaborately, because i see some people say they used three bank statements for one application. These things need be discussed along other issues to be raised. Mate you too like space, seems we would send you to NSA. Only you wan create telegram page, only wan space for documents discwon't. Each application is access on individual account. Some provide 10 accounts, some no accounts. At the end, an ECO would access things as he/she wants and thick boxes that is to be thicked for a yes/no decision BTW there is a thread for spousal visa application, and other such groups you mentioned for telegram exist already. Even if you create app for these things, as nobody be ECO here, some applicants who still chop refusal, some wont. No beef |

Ashirioluwa: In this case, this your comment is the best thing to do. Obviously for the longterm, but here the op wishes to be and spend the Xmas with the partner, and going by the time she put in the application, she would not have gotten the visa to have her wishes, yet with two denials that won't happen either unless she has the funds and she could still be with the husband for 01.01.2023, put in an application, press super priority/or priority and booom |

advanceDNA: If her husband is british, why is she not applying for visa to join him even though she might want to remain in nigeria.....
that way she wont have to keep applying for visit visa that will expire and require renewal Spousal visa takes time, sometime around 3-6months. Compared to the visit visa that would be valid for 6months and she gets a decision within weeks.. Also the Husband might not meet all the criteria for them to go with that route, so a short-term visa would be a good temporary fix, whilst they work on a better option. |

eberem: Good day house, please my people I need àn urgent help here. I have just been denied UK visa for the 2nd time.
The first was November last year, then I wasn't married. I applied for visiting visa and I was denied on the basis of insufficient fund. That what I intend spending is disproportionate to my income. Mind you, my boss has undertaken to sponsor the trip as a tradition in our office enabling all staff to embark on all expense paid trip abroad annually with his bank statement attached. In spite of this, I was still denied.
I applied again last month November, to join my husband for the chrstmas holidays. My husband is a UK Citizen, we got married early this year, we were supposed to apply for spousal settlement but the issuance of my new passport with a change of name to my husband's was delayed, which took almost five months. When the passport came out eventually, when decided to apply for 6 months visiting visa to enable me join my husband for Christmas, considering the fact that settlement takes a longer duration. Again I was denied. Their basis was that one the companies I provided is inactive. I had mentioned that I have other passive sources of income, and I supported it with the companies CAC documents, I am a director in both companies. I also included all the evidence of my financial investments including landed assets. They still claimed that they are not satisfied that my intention is genuine. My husband wrote a letter of invitation, we also attached our marriage certificate including wedding pictures. I have sufficient funds in my account, I don't even withdraw money from my salary account. The statement is there for verification, I don't know what else they want me to do. The worst is that, they said I do not have the right to appeal. Please house, what should I do? Your advice will be highly appreciated because I don't know what to do again. Whether I should still write them regardless of the fact I that I don't have the right to appeal. Note that, my travel history is there, I just barely returned from a trip to UAE before I made my application. I have not stayed more than necessary in any country. Reapply...asap whenever you want to travel But make sure you put in when you have right to leave... If your husband is working and paying tax. Let him be the invitee, and sponsor of the trip and attach all necessary documents from his ends in his letter he should ask why as a brit, who pays taxes, law abiding, he is being denied the privilege to reconnect with his wife who had just applied for a visit visa... On your own part, considering you had submitted two companies, get both active. Submit your recent bank statements, and every other documents as necessary in additional information space bleep at the eco that would view current application.... state that you have genuinely twice put in application for different purposes to visit the UK just to have it wrongly refused; Citing previous applications, where one was for work and second to visit your partner. Explain that because of your businesses back home you and you husband agree that now is not the right time to join him on the spousal visa, yet you both agree a visit is necessary, which is why you are applying for a short-term visa. Stress further that you intend to return to your businesses at the end of your visit to your husband. That additional space be very clear and firm. Don't be abusive, don't be religious, just stake your points and ask why if you and your husband can afford the budget without seeking recourse to public funds, what the ECO are actually doing.. Oh I just read, 1st ur boss was sponsoring you for a visit and not work related... pls is the boss best man, or best woman? Na d person marry for una? Abeg no go bleep, e get as ur first application deh..... |

jeslom: But using conversion rate 6000 pounds is just3.200,000. That is it will cover the flight and my stay for a week .
As for the money lodgement . I agree to that . But if I can explain well . Like gifts and ROI . Scared also about using this . Cause I don’t have properties If compared to your take home pay, and monthly expenditure, you would be faulted to say just. Gifts amounting to such tune would def be a worry to an ECO, so your explanation would be long, yet the ECO would have a final say |

'If you need a biometric residence permit (BRP) in the UK, where do you want to collect it from?' The options are: Collect from a UK post office. OR Collect from an alternative location. Just insert the postcode of where you would be staying, the BRP would be sent to the nearest post-office to that post code. |

Focus99: The mother is in UK already for about 6months now. The father just got his visitor's visa. The child was refused her dependent visa. I think I need clarification on "care and arrangement for this if only one will be travelling" E never reach death matter, none sole custody things. For example if the dad is a military person;, I am a member of the armed forces, my job is such that I'm rarely at home, and at this time cannot desert my duties to relocate with my family. It is on this junction I and my partner have made adequate arrangements for our child to join her(my partner/mother), in the UK. As part of our arrangements, we have arranged care services that would carter for her needs whilst my partner/ her mum is working in the UK The above plans suits our child's well-being better than leaving her in the hands of carers here in Nigeria, or extended family members and would offer a continual bond between child and mother which is essential in any child's life. I hereby also consent to my/our child joining her mom/partner at this time, as she would be better cared for and looked after. Attached within are arrangements and plans made by myself and partner to support our child's application. Similarly, I intend to visit the UK on regular basis to spend time with my family when on leave or not on duty for the time being whilst we work towards a full relocation process. That way, nobody die, nobody loose custody. Na personal and family choice Even if you be teacher or lecturer, state that ASUU called off strike and work load means you can't relocate now. Yet if you want to requenlish custody na way. But all must be genuine. No go claim to be IG when you are unemployed, my hands no dey there. |

I think I need clarification on "care and arrangement for this if only one will be travelling" The mother should provide address and care arrangement plans she has, to ensure the child won't be neglected snd safe whilst she's at work. Both parents are obligated to write a letter of consent to be submitted in her next application to show that both party are aware of things and no disagreement. The father on his part would have to state why he can't join the family at this time, yet has consented to their child being away with the mother whom is working in the UK. The father should note he may have had problems either, if he were to travel with the child without the mum's consent letter if the child's dependent application were approved. |

My cousin in the UK already with a skilled worker visa applied for dependent visa for her 2yrs old daughter but didn't applied with consent later from father and she did not even show proof of anything, she just gave birth (CS). The husband applied for a visit visa because he has no intention of staying in the UK.
The father made his application using an agent while my cousin made application for her 2yrs old daughter. Now the baby has been refused the visa but the father got his visit visa. We have 28days to respond for the baby...
Please what should we do? What documents should we include? Are we supposed to reapply or just send UKVI the response with the required documents?
Please help us Reapply and get both parents to supply consent letter, arrangements for child care and other requirements that are necessary for a dependent applicant. |
Hello house, I have been having sleepless nights since 2 days now after discovering that the bank statement I uploaded for proof of funds is also showing my ledger balance (present bank balance).
I requested for the statement after I have completed my 28 days proof of fund and have pulled out the funds and it’s now showing the balance of the account on the day I requested for statement from my bank to upload.
I’m so scared, although the statement I presented is okay with proof of fund policies (showing the required balance was running in my account throughout that 28 days) but I’m scared my current bank account balance won’t spoil things for me.
To remedy the situation at hand, I’m thinking I should run another proof of funds and leave it so Incase they asked me to reprint the statement just like in some cases I have seen so it would show current account balance as the ledger(new pof) while requesting for a new statement of account.
I’m just really worried!
Applying as a dependent and I did my biometric on Friday 9th Dec and application has presently being received by DMC[/quote]
If you're joining your partner under the skilled worker route and had submitted cos where maintenance is ticked then you may worry less. If joining your partner who is a student and that was the only pof, then your worries are legit.. Even if you decided to start running it now as you have indicated, and you are asked to provide a pof again during review of your application, you should be aware that a specific period would be given, if the period given shows you have held the funds for a period less than as needed 28 calendar days then your worries may/still remains.
YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING, wait for the outcome of your application. |
