Ruwa Baya Tsami Banza! My problem with Obasanjo, says Buhari 1. He submitted ministerial appointment lists two times i rejected them. 2. He nominated a replacement for the sacked NIA boss. I considered it inappropriate hence rejected it. 3. He finally brought a company to handle the Mambila power project worth $5.8billion with lots of irregularities and I rejected it. 4. I also learnt that the Ota farm staff had been on government's payroll, till I came into power and I stopped it. 5. I came to realize that he was using federal govt registered vehicles for Bell school and University throughout his days as president for the staff of his personal school. I stopped it too. OBJ's sins are numerous and his sins are what he fears because the future looks bleak. Every sinful soul must receive his or her reward which always comes in the negative form. That, I said These are the reasons why Obasanjo is against me. ~ Muhammadu Buhari~ |
I am sure a lot of you heard about the Naira/Yuan swap deal. I know Most of us don't know the meaning of Nigeria naira/yuan swap with China.. And why the American government is desperately smoothning their relationship with Nigeria. This is a clearer picture of the deal and it's effects on our economy and way of life. Soon, you may be buying that techno phone you bought at N80,000 for N12, 000 . The Central Bank of Nigeria have finally signed the currency swap deal we have been expecting for the past 2 years with the Chinese government. The importance of this is that since almost 70% of the goods we import come from China and Asia and only about a meagre 12% come from America, why must we use Dollars to transact with China? Thus, with the new deal, instead of using dollars at N350 to 1dollar to import those goods, we can now buy Yuan at 47 naira to 1 Yuan and import those stuffs directly. Therefore, Instead of buying these goods in dollars in China, we will now buy them in Yuan at 5 times cheaper than their dollar rates. Meanwhile, it should be noted that China is now the highest importer of our crude. This means that our trade with them can be on Naira/Yuan basis. This is a giant stride that our media needs to disseminate. It's a great achievement by this administration in its effort at repositioning our economy. Of course, with the new deal, the demand for dollars will nose dive, with an attendant crash in its price. Try to monitor exchange rate. Some of those guys who hoarded foreign currencies to make gains will off load them in order not to have heart attack over their huge loss arising from the currency swap deal with China. Dollars and pounds will flood everywhere with no buyers, as the buyers will draw naira from their accounts in banks with presence in China. Many NIGERIA banks will be seeking to have their representative office in China like first bank who saw to the future and already have office in China. Inflation will go down drastically because of the price of commodities that will drop. |

Kaduna govt announces 32.5% salary increase for teachers The Kaduna State Government on Thursday said it has increased the salary of public school teachers by 32.5 per cent. The state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ja’afaru Sani said at a news conference in Kaduna, that 27.5 per cent would be added to all the teachers while five per cent was incentive for teachers posted rural areas. According to him, while head teachers would be entitled to 3-Bedroom accommodation while other teachers would have 2-bedrooms flats in addition to motorcycles to ease their transportation challenges to schools. According to him, the measure becomes necessary to retain qualified and professional teachers posted to rural areas. “Currently, we have more teachers in urban areas than we have in rural areas because the salary package is the same and so whenever teachers are posted to rural schools they redeploy to urban centres.’’ Sani said that the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) would post the first batch of 10,000 newly recruited teachers to primary schools within the next two weeks. He assured of the state government resolved to ensure quality and standard in teaching and learning in schools across the state. “The El-Rufa’i led-administration strongly believes that only access to affordable and quality education will ensure social mobility for children of the poor. “Only quality education will equip them with the needed skills to be creative, inventive and be part of the social movement towards development and self-fulfilment,” Sani said. The commissioner maintained that the state public schools would no longer be dumping ground for those seeking employment through political patronage. On the replacement of the sacked 22,000 teachers, Sani said selection of the first batch of 10,000 teachers for posting across the 23 local government areas was in the final stage. The commissioner explained that 36, 097 applicants sat for the recruitment examination, which was marked at NTI by lecturers of Federal College of Education, Zaria and Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya. Given further details, SUBEB Chairman, Nasiru Umar said: “ data entries and data analysis were made and we have released the names of the shortlisted candidates of 24,979 applicants as placed at the 23 LGA offices and SUBEB headquarters.“ Umar said five-man committees for each of the 36 centres were set for the oral interview which included representative of Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria and Education Data Research and Evaluation in Nigeria. Others included in the exercise were the Teachers Registration Council, State Teachers Service Board, Civil Service Commission and seasoned educationists in the state. The official said that the oral interview covered General Knowledge, Personal Trait, Reading/ Writing, Comprehension and Self Expression. He said the exercise was monitored by Gov. Nasiru El-Rufai and relevant officials. Umar further said Data entry was ongoing, to be followed by data analysis after which a technical committee would select the successful candidates to be vetted by the main committee. |

FARMERS- HERDERS CONFLICT: NEITHER ETHNIC NOR RELIGIOUS, BUT OF LAND RESOURCES In my observation , deployment of security men to flash-points could only provide a "temporary peace". In my modest view, the only way to address the issue of farmers -herders clashes is to know the "root cause" of the conflict and provide a "lasting solution" that will be mutually beneficial to both parties. In my understanding, farmers-herders conflict is neither ethnic nor religious. The conflict is purely on economic resources, in this case, land resources with which farmers "cultivate" on it and herders "graze" on .I quite agree with Timawus Mathias when he said: "It is a resource conflict, certainly neither religious nor ethnic. Even if both farmer and herder were Fulani, same would have occurred. The land resources is the issue, not tribe, not religion..."- (Daily Trust : December 6,2017). Many analysts are of the view that, the rising farmers -herders conflicts in Nigeria is a result of population "expansion" which leads to the increasing demand for land resources by both farmers and herders. Nigeria at Independence has only about 63million people, but as at today the population is about 180million. The land resources is fixed while the population keeps growing. We could not also rule out criminal and political dimensions. Some selfish politicians, ethnic entrepreneurs, religious entrepreneurs and some sections of the media have not helped matters by hypocritically linking the issue with ethnicity and religion. We must accept the fact that the conflict is neither religious nor ethnic. We must agree that there is nothing religious about killing innocent people . We must accept the fact that both farmers and herders are "victims" of this barbaric act. We must understand that "violence" does not do anybody any good. We must get to the "root cause" of the conflict, if we must nip it in the bud. At "birth" nobody decided to be born as either Hausa or Yoruba or Igbo or Tiv etc. Crime has neither "tribe" nor "religion". Although, crime is not acceptable by all religions and tribes, criminals are found in every tribe as well as religion. Criminals must be treated as criminals whether Fulanis or Hausas or Yorubas or Igbos or Tivs or Bachamas or Jukums. We have had enough of farmers -herders clashes in Birnin- Gwari, Zamfara and Kastina states which are all Muslims and typical Hausa-Fulanis states. In my opinion, it is disheartening as well as hypocritical to link clashes between farmers and herders in Southern Kaduna, Benue, Taraba, Plateau, and Adamawa as ethnic or religious while that of clashes in Niger, Birnin Gwari,Zamfara, and Kastina as mere arm banditry or cattle rustling. In my view, it is "very wrong" to believe that, the only way to solve the problem of farmers -herders clashes is through banning of open grazing and the introduction of "ranches". It is equally "very wrong" for someone to believe that, the present "Pastoralists practice " of moving around with their cattle must continue without adjustment. Due to demographic expansion it appears to me that wandering around in towns, villages or bushes with cattle is no longer sustainable. As unsustainable as it is, it could not just be stopped overnight. Opinion is mostly divided between those in support of Grazing Reserves and Ranches.Grazing reserves are areas of land demarcated, set aside and reserved for exclusive use by pastoralists which is essentially provided by the government. A ranch, on the other hand, is an area of land with various structures, given primarily to the practice of ranching, which is the practice of raising livestock such as cattle or sheep etc., with which the herders would have to "acquire" the land and be feeding the cattle with their money. This will definitely triple the cost of meat. In the short-term, let's combine the two approaches. May God bless Nigeria. |

Name of the dead Persons they are talking about never received kobo as a salary unlike those years of ghost workers whose name exist only on paper receiving salaries for years. This is the most transparent government Nigerians ever got, if it was in the past we for just hear 2000 workers employed to various ministries and nothing more. Moreover, the lists sent to President more than a year ago and it's on record that Unfortunately, President Buhari was ill then. This is change but however the mistake should not have happened at the first place. |

KDSG orders reopening of tertiary institutions in southern Kaduna, announces multicampus policy Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai today received stakeholders from southern Kaduna. He thanked the delegation, which included Air Commodore E.K.Jekada and Bishop George Dodo, Catholic Bishop of Zaria, for helping to stabilize and restore peace in the affected local government areas. Malam El-Rufai said he was delighted to personally thank the stakeholders for their role in promoting peace. The governor announced that due to the marked improvement in the security situation, the government has decided to reopen all tertiary institutions in southern Kaduna. Malam Nasir El-Rufai also disclosed that the state government has decided to adopt a multi-campus structure for all its tertiary institutions, a decision that will assign at least one tertiary institution to every local government area. The governor gratefully acknowledged that several persons invested their time, connection and resources in the cause of peace. “I salute you for helping to uphold a common humanity, for keeping the voice of reason alive. It is voices like yours that are helping to anchor peace, upsetting the designs of people who think that a relentless focus on ethnicity and religion is the best way to advance their personal agenda. We are determined not to allow anyone to profit from strife. Thank you for your contributions to the steady advance of peace.” Malam Nasir El-Rufai also announced that all tertiary institutions owned by the Kaduna State Government will henceforth operate a multi-campus structure. This new policy has been approved by the State Executive Council as a means to further expand access to higher education, make accreditation of courses more cost-effective and respond concretely to the desire by several communities to host tertiary institutions. The government explained that a multi-campus structure will help to make the state’s tertiary institutions more inclusive and expand the range of courses that students can study by making most courses available in all campuses. “Memo presented to the State Executive Council indicates that the government hopes that the various campuses spread across the state can over time evolve into fully-fledged universities in their own right. That is how the campuses of the University of California system and those of the University of London have evolved. “This multi-campus policy will be implemented in a way that assigns at least one tertiary institution to each of the 23 local government areas. The laws of some of our institutions are already been amended to reflect this.” The government reiterated a commitment to transform KASU into a world-class university in the long-term. Part of the transition to a multi-campus structure entails moving the main campus of KASU itself to a be purpose-built main facility behind the NTI in Rigachikun. Members of the delegation applauded the governor for reopening schools and for adopting the multi-campus structure. Bishop Dodo said that it is clear that the government has good intentions, and is doing a lot, but he urged more efforts at communicating what is being done. Air Commodore Jekada expressed appreciation to security agencies and the state government for working restore order and make a return to normalcy possible. He pledged that they will continue to support and cooperate with the government for peace and development in southern Kaduna. e. FROM THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS: Dr Joe Abah. STATISTICS OF EMPLOYMENTS INTO OUR PUBLIC SERVICE. An attempt to simplify the raw stats/ (A). EMPLOYMENT INTO THE PUBLIC SERVICE 1. NE Population 19.0m PS - 7,793 2. NW Population 35.8m PS - 8,806 3. SE Population 16.4m - 16,540 4. NC Population 20.3m PS- 17,661 5. SS Population 21.0m PS -18,038 6. SW Population 27.6m - 19,620 To appreciate these figures, it is necessary to find out how many employees are taken from every 1 million people in each of the geographical zones. The result is: 1.SE has 1,009 Employees per million 2. NC has 970 Employees per million. 3. SS has 859 Employees per million. 4. SW has 711 Employees per million. 5. NE has 410 Employees per million. 6. NW has 246 Employees per million. Here one can see that SE Zone has over 1000 people engaged in the public service of Nigeria in every 1 million Igbo people whereas only 246 people are engaged in NW. Remember that this is the Zone of the President of Nigeria. Curiously SW, the Zone of the Vice President is the least in Southern Nigeria with the employment of 711 people in a million. It is pertinent to see the trend as regards Political Office holders. Probably, those that lost out in the Public Service, are compensated with Political offices. Let's perform sample surgical operation on the political employees. (B). POLITICAL APPOINTEES. We all have the statistics of political appointees of the current Buhari administration. 1. NW has 51 political appointees from 7 states 2. NC has 47 political appointees from 6 states. 3.NE has 45 political appointees from 6 states 4. SW has 45 political appointees from 6 states 5. SS has 45 political appointees from 6 States. 6. has 41 political appointees from 5 states. This translates to: 1st. SE: 2.50 appointees in a million. 2nd. NE: 2.37 appointees in a million. 3rd. NC: 2.34 appointees in a million. 4th. SS: 2.14 appointees in a million. 5th. SW:1.63 appointees in a million. 6th. NW:1.42 appointees in a million. Alternatively 1st. SE: has 1 appointee in every 400,000. 2nd. NE: has 1 appointee in every 422,000. 3rd. NC: has 1 appointee in every 427,000. 4th. SS: has 1 appointee in every 467,000. 5th. SW: has 1 appointee in every 614,000. 6th. NW: has 1 appointee in every 704,000. Once again topping the list of Beneficiary is South East with one political appointee for every 400,000 people. As if it is an intentional act, NW, from whence the President hails has the least of 1 political appointees for every 704, 000 people while the figure for Osinbajo's Zone is 614,000 and is the least in the South. THIS IS NOT MY DEFINITION OF "MARGINALIZATION" BEING PEDDLED BY SOME NIGERIANS. TRHAT INFACT THE IGBOS ARE THE BIGGEST BENEFICIARIES GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT IN NIGERIA. |
Number of Federal Civil Servants per States in Nigeria SE Abia - 3579 Anambra - 3576 Ebonyi - 865 Enugu - 2695 Imo - 5825 Total = 16541 NE Adamawa -1727 Bauchi - 1172 Borno - 1822 Gombe - 1218 Taraba -1112 Yobe - 744 Total = 6577 SS Akwa Ibom - 4416 Bayelsa - 957 Cross River - 2681 Delta - 4419 Edo - 3890 Rivers - 1675 Total = 18038 NC Benue - 3951 Kogi - 5186 Kwara - 2537 Nasarawa - 1452 Niger - 2193 Plateau - 2542 Total = 17861 SW Ekiti - 2613 Lagos- 2180 Ogun - 4669 Ondo - 3393 Osun - 3321 Oyo - 3244 Total = 19420 NW Jigawa - 675 Kaduna - 3199 Kano - 1545 Katsina - 1237 Kebbi - 875 Sokoto - 732 Zamfara - 543 Total = 8806 Now those who said Nigeria has marginalized them can they really say so after seeing this . What if the entire North complain about this. U point one finger at someone the rest four fingers are pointing at u So stop playing victims Every part of Nigeria is benefiting either by permanent employment or by appointment (which is temporal) |
