Naijaforeigner: Yes, you need to attach numbers 1, 2, 3, birth certificate and certificate of Incorporation if you can.
When I did mine, which was paper application, I included it. With online, there is limit with the number of documents you can attach.
If there is space, you can, if there is no space, don't worry about it.
Just make sure you attach his SOA showing more than enough funds to take of you for at least a year, what he does for a living and documents to prove it. Thanks boss, my papa no get birth cert oooo....His birth cert is a must?. |

Naijaforeigner: There are several colleges you can get admission into without using an agent. You can give those schools a try.
However, if you still decide on going with Fanshawe, tell those agents you got the list from the International office and the school specifically asked you to pay $100 for admission.
Some agents will ask you to pay registration fees. The total you should pay to any agent (registration + admission) should not be more than 50k naira. When you get your study permit, Fanshawe will refund your $100.
Once it is above 50K naira, just try another school. Thanks boss. An agent agreed #50,000. But I was told by the agent that I am not qualified as the lowest accepted degree is second class lower. I had 3rd class. Thanks. |

Good morning everyone,
I have been admitted into brandon university for bachelor of business administration, but based on advise from here, post graduate diploma in business administration or business management will be better.
I tried to apply to langara college, it seems the course is full for January 2021 intake.
The other option is fanshawe, but I was told I have to apply via agents, on the school page, application fee cost 100CAD but agents are charging #50,000, #100,000 the last one said #150,000 . How do one byepass this?.

JustMellow: Hello Legacyedition,
Your case is not as complicated as you may see it. Its not compulsory to do a second Bachelor since all you need is the practical and professional ideas. A PGD/C or Post Baccalaureate Degree should be a more suitable choice to consider and endeavour to relate it to your work experience. Since your father is financially sufficient and reliable, you stand a better choice using him as a sponsor. Your first homework and step to take towards your application is to sit down with your dad and have an open discussion with him about your intentions.
Also, with your available personal funds, you have the required funds to be self-sponsored but however after the deductions of both your tuition and LE for the first year determines how sufficient financially you are. Still, its advisable to include your father either as a co/sponsor or a financial supporter. Let me know if its not clear enough.
All the best. Boss, I have been offered admission for Bachelor degree from Brandon university. Though I want to apply for Post graduate diploma in business management or post graduate diploma in business administration. I haven't applied yet though. Please do advice if possible to use this brandon uni. Admission letter for SP or wait for PGD admission letter. Thanks. |

Frankrobbn1: If you finished with a 2.2, a post graduate diploma program should be your best bet. On the contrary, if you graduated with a 2.1, you should be applying for a direct masters program which shows an academic progression. Fanshawe and Langara college are good schools, your visa chances are great with these schools only when your intention is driven by a lawful purpose which is strictly to study and depart from Canada after studies.
It will end in praise Thanks boss... |

Frankrobbn1: I know about the Masters of Global Management at Royal Roads University, BC, Canada. For your information, the prerequisite course in "Academic Writing and Critical Thinking" will cost you 200k+ in Naira and you're ought to complete this short prerequiste courses prior to your enrollment into the main master's program. More so, you will pay a tuition deposit of $5,000CAD to secure a seat in the accepted term. Now, this tells you how much knowledge I have for this program and other programs in Canada.
My advise is that you shouldn't spend that 200k because its non-refundable, I would suggest you pay the 5KCAD to secure your seat and apply for your study Visa.
Alternatively, apply to University of Windsor for her Master of Management in International Accounting and Finance. It's a good program and cost 31kCAD for the 16 months and Visa chances are high with this school than Royal Roads University. These are my valid observations so far since my 4 years of enriching experiences in this process.
It will end in praise. Bros, the courses I needed are only done in colleges.Only one or two universities does this course full time, mostly online or less than a year with universities, Concordia still tried but its in Quebec... I no sabi French... PGBA or Post graduate diploma in business management. Fanshawe, Langara college and some colleges in British Columbia. Any issue with Visa with this colleges?.. |

All the best. Thanks boss, I went back to this your post, checked some of the PGD in biz management and biz admin, they have what I actually needed, more cost effective and time saving. Also with some of the biz schools, if one do well in the pgd, MBA is possible after a year. I already applied to schools for Bachelor of biz admin, very sure I am letting them go, wish they could refund though but I think its non-refundable. Thanks once again. |

Lekiboboe: Well it depends on how related ur Uncle is to u, if u bear the same surname, that will be doep.. In a way to show commitment, he needs to either pay part of the tuition fee or pay it in full ( try to know the refund policy of the school).
He can pay the tuition fee in U.S.(that will even be more better than paying in Naira i.e Paying in Nigeria due to fluctuating exchange rates of Dollar to Naira)
If he pays the Tuition fee, then in the Proof Funds u only need to show the funds available for ur living expenses.($10,000CAD minimum)and also show reasonable amount of funds to take care of himself ,his family and probably if he has a business.I stand to be corrected
Ur uncle will need to Write a Letter of Sponsorship for u
And also AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT from a COURT Hi, If it's my dad that is sponsoring me, do I need affidavit of support too?.. |

JustMellow: Hello Legacyedition,
The choice you have now is to work with your current or personal circumstances. Go for a related course and apply for your visa, getting there you can pursue your choice program. However, if immigration isn't the main objective, you can bear the throes of the difficulty to get admission into your desired program. Afterall, dreams are exceptionally big.
All the best Thanks boss... |

Luckymama: My two cents: from my own experience I found that some schools are willing to waive your educational background if your working experience is solid.
If it is also possible you may check for one or two online courses in business admin you can do or maybe a PGD in business admin from open university to serve as a bridge.
Just apply to many schools, write your SOP as you just narrated the story above (without the personal details of course). You should be able to get at least a graduate diploma from one.
Another thing is that most schools have two types of masters, the thesis based and the course based. The thesis based is usually more competitive so wherever possible always apply to the course based program. Thanks for your input ma. |

My target is MBA , then to executive MBA and doctor of business administration. What those billionaires are being taught in business schools, I must see it and apply it to my business also. |
