Nuezha:
FROM EXPERIENCE, a girl can only talk shamelessly like that when you've CLIMBED her. You're a disgrace if you ever did that.
As charming as I was 7yrs ago, I didn't date a female corp member let alone descending so low to mingle with underage.

it's a shame if he did climb her. But, I don't entire agree wt u, mehn u need to see how shameless some female student can be these days, esp in riverine areas... U will ask u n even plead wit u to sleep wt dem, even wen u r trying to keep dem @ arms length...

obailala: What sort of dumb posts am I seeing here from Nlanders? angry

An anonymous enemy of Dino sits in front of a laptop and types rubbish and not a single person on this thread has questioned the credibility of this anonymous source undecided

Don't mind nairalanders, we believe everytin hook, line n sinker without taking a few seconds to think... Two tins r involved, it's either the guy is a dog or his enemies want to ruin him... And with this second revelation, I tend to lean towards the latter...
NYSC / Re: NYSC Allowance For September, 2012 by legendprac(m): 7:37am On Oct 11, 2012
Kamardiran: i wonder y u guys are shouting cos of delay in paying ur stipend.....av u finish spending d one u collected last?? The problem is most corpers are spendrift.....dey spend like no tomorrow........before some of u will start attacking me,i was once a corper, batch b 2011.......i knw ao much i saved,i neva complained truout my service year........

The fact u saved doesn't mean odas will be able to do so... Believe me, saving depends on many factors like:
A: d state or town(are things cheap or expensive dia)
B: do u get oda small tips frm ur ppa apart frm d allowie
C: how close is ur ppa frm where u live?
D: do u have relatives sending u money
E: do u have anoda source of income(business)?

I neva touched my nysc allowie, cuz option E applied to me, but that doesn't mean I should expect the same from everybody n become insensitive to the fact that 19,800 is nothing... Yea, 19,800 isn't enough... To feed, cloth, transport, etc...unless any of d above mentioned options applied/applies to u...

cowgurl: Currently in a committed relationship with a man whose dad left them @ a tender age and his sweet ma had to cater for them, all 4 of them kids.
I must confess he grew up a responsible man cos for the many years we've been together 'v had no reason to doubt that.
Yeah, u can say that again, mine is exceptional but my point is, people have lost good partners because they didn't take into cognizant their individuality. Even in relationships, we see it happen, people generalizing here and there.
Exceptions also exist when children from good homes grow up acting otherwise, will you go ahead and settle down with them because he/she is from a good home?
@topic, inasmuch that family history does matter in choosing our spouses we should't throw away their individuality.
As a matter of fact, it should come first before the former!

It should dear, I A̶̲̥̅♏ not disputing dat... But, ur case is an exception...my 2 kobo

Nashville: Ask people who are married and they will tell you family history matters a lot. The first marriage we see Is our parents' and if it ends in a very bitter divorce then be very careful of such people. If it happens with the grandparents then even worse.

Such people may not know how a family truly function and the need for a loving spouse. Such people may be filled with hate and anger due to various horrible things one parent may have said about the other. Such people carry all these baggage into marriage and it doesn't help!

These things matter!

On point,sister

Ivynwa: Shouldn't it be about the person and the person's way of thinking. Family history should be considered to some extent but that should not be the determining factor because a person can have opposing ideology to what others in the family uphold.

::Andrew:::

no, I have my decisions and choices.

I used to say such tins, until I tot time to study events... Believe me, it's a big factor.. If it happened to d granny and d parent, den u have to be very careful... if it happened to just the parent, it could be a one-off, so that was y I included the grandparents in my post...

D-Explorer:
Dude, i like this topic but why kill it? "Does Family History Matters A Lot When Choosing Your Partner? would have been better and also earn a deserved attention.

@Topic: Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't depending on what matter is to be considered. If the grandmother and mother had a broken home, it doesn't interpret that a child born into that family will have a broken home if it's not supernaturally related.

If the grandfather and father was alcoholic doesn't mean the son would be but if they were polygamous and such individual doesn't have some strong set of beliefs against the act of many wives then he just might follow that pattern.

Good topic dude and hope more people respond.

It doesn't really have to be spiritual for traits to repeat themselves, esp when it comes to blood...
