The thing is maybe one would have supported the management if every increase in school fee leads to improved infrastructure development and improved standard of living but the truth is-the opposite is always the case!. As evident in the case of the increment in 'acceptance fee',few years back. If anything after that increment,the school became worse. Where did #18000 * over 30000 students go? Sincerely my brother-'only America can know'. And believe it or not,same will happen again-students will pay this money and say,in the next five years;the school will still remain the same or may even be in worse state. So what's now the essence of paying extra money,without seeing any reflection or whatsoever on the school/students.


But sha,house don tire me small o . So make both parties just know how to settle everything without any closure of school again.

Obviously,it should be "What you wrote". "Wrote",past tense of "Write" in the sentence already indicates his action took place in the past and "have" in the sentence is pointless as it does the same job.

"What you've written" is also correct since "Written" only does not really indicate the action happened in the past so having "Have" in the sentence which indicates it happened in the past is necessary and correct.

It's most probably a typo.

CHM101 is CHM101. The only place you will see A or B added to the back is on a timetable and this usually means a large number of people are offering that course and coz of that,the lecture period has been divide into 2 groups: A and B. Meaning half of the class(maybe pple with surnames from A-M) will attend CHM101A(usually earlier in the day) and the remaining half(N-O) will attend CHM101B(usually Later in the day)

Although the truth is most people don't follow the structured pattern and always prefer to attend the group's lecture that take place earlier in the day(so that they will be quickly true with their daily lectures) while some will even attend the two coz they came late for the first one,didn't come. @ all or didn't concentrate in the first class. Coz of this,there is always overcrowding.

Again,if you saw what you wrote up there anywhere else apart from on the timetable,just discard it; it's prolly a typo.

Why are they protesting?

I thought the Doctors on Nl here said: after many people start dieing due to non-availabilty of doctors,Govt will realize they acted foolishly and then recall them back.
So what's with the protest?

And for the umpteenth time,they should stop comparing their salaries with their fellow doctors in foreign country coz:

1) #200,000 in is far more valuable in Nigeria than most of these countries they tend to refer to when comparing wages.

And

2) Which is most important. It also as to do with the issue of doctors comparing incomes with their fellow counterparts abroad. The truth it is not only doctors whose pay are lower than their counterparts. Pharmacist,Nurses,Physios,Lab scientist,Teachers,Engineers gets what is called Peanut when one compare it with what their fellow counterparts in 1st world countries gets. So why should it only be Doctors that always feel cheated/underpaid?,why do they want to be paid the same money despite knowing the massive difference btwn Nigeria's Economy and the country they always tend to compare nigeria with's Economy?. What happens when other employees in other occupation also ask to be paid as much as their fellow counterparts in 1st world countries?, You don't know what will happen?, What will happen is that Govt will only be able to pay 3 months salary out of 12 if they Oblige.

I'm not saying NMA or Doctors should not make demands for things they feel it's right to demand for but they should stop using 1st world countries as reference when they are in reality Living and Working in a 3rd World country. Things don't work like that (A US Cop will always get paid than a Naija Cop even though their job description is same).
And one more thing if I may add,they always seem a bit arrogant and aggressive when making their demands(Actually almost every association has this characteristic in Nigeria)

The only reason Unilorin is at all in the top 5 is simply bcoz of their "No strike" policy.

Save for the aspect of strike,OAU is miles ahead of UNILORIN in ALL aspect.

I repeat: if UNILORIN were to be going on strike anytime there is a nationwide strike in government owned universities,they will most definitely not "smell" the top 5 position.

OlamiB: Personally, I dnt like chatting. If I get to reply ur msg in less than 24hrs then Ɣ☺u are lucky. Maybe its because of my introvert nature, I dnt like stress for myself. My phone is always in silence mode unless am expecting a call frm my parents or BF. I dnt even get to see the messages most times, I cannot recall how many times I received a GOOD MORNING message and replied that same morning rather I will reply in say 2days time at night. My frnds think am proud but am not, am not just a social person the only msg I reply in time is that of my BF and he is the reason am still chatting with the few ones self. Dnt delete us o! I think school fee review was one of the resolutions made in the last meeting btwn the SUG and School management and the [b]school management agreed that they are going to review the school fee[\b].
It's too early to say they are not going to reduce Fee.Let's just wait for a few more or @least before we resume before drawing conclusions.

P:S-I hope the resumption date is not another rumour sha.

In OAU,you can talk anyhow to someone thrice your size and you will most probably get away with it coz there is "No fighting" rule in OAU.If you're caught fighting,you will be subjected to Maximum Sishi or face expulsion.

But beware of how you talk to people o,the guy that you abused on campus without any retaliation from him,you might meet in an Isolated corner on one of the streets of Lagos.
