The court is not an emotional court; it's court of fact and evidence. Irrespective of the weight of the allegations and evidence presented , all parties still need to present their sides of the stories.

That being said, the application for bail does not validate or invalidate the conviction of the offender. It merely postpones the "evil day" to the time where the offender will have no straw to clinch on. Till then, all and every available opportunities must be fully utilised within the ambit of the law.
So, let the court decide his fate.

It does seem wise a decision to grant a convict bail.

Much as the conditions attached to granting such application are strict, yet the courts have granted them in many instances.

Now ask yourself what level of compensation will suffice for a person convicted and have served his terms only for the apex court to nullify his conviction. Can money fully compensate him for the freedom, love, peace, family bond , financial gains he would have had but lost as a result of his detention?

Yes, a convict can appeal for bail even at the appellate court to the Supreme court if the court finds merit in his application.
If his bail is granted at the CA or SC , and the final judgement affirms the decision of the High court, he will start his sentence forthwith.

He filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal.
His lawyers are asking for a bail pending the appeal at the Court of Appeal is entered.
It is within the legal right of a convict to make while the court reserves discretion to accept or not.

Having done all @ekene listed, you still need to remove the already granted permissions for sms and phone calls at the initial stage of registration because if they tried woefully to reach your contacts via your Google contacts or phone contacs they can read the call logs and randomly send to those you make calls to or receive from. Same applies to sms too

Hello Nokia gurus, my Nokia2.3 suddenly stops receiving messages. I inserted the SIM in another phone and sent an sms to the line. The message came in but when I inserted my SIM in the Nokia2. 3 again and sent an SMS to the line, I didn't receive any which rules out network operator.
