The movie is a comedy set around a rich brat who is forced to work together with a ‘ghetto’ comedy to recover his stolen passport or miss a live-changing interview.

Former Big Brother housemate and content creator, Elozonam Ogbulu is set to host the first-ever Big Brother Naija Eviction Vodcast from August 2022.

The BBNaija Eviction Vodcast would see Elozonam have an up close and personal conversation with the evicted Level Up Housemates, as they share their experiences in Big Brother’s House.

The first episode will drop next month, with episodes available exclusive to DStv Catch Up and Showmax.

Elozonam participated in the Pepper dem season of the reality Tv show.

In preparation for their wager task to be presented on Friday, housemates, Adekunle and Chichi engaged in a heated argument.

The argument managed to pull in other housemates including Doyin and Sheggz, who had a brief exchange of swear words.

Here’s how it all started:
The housemates were asked to divide themselves into three groups with four members each and prepare a talent show.

Adekunle in the process of sharing the details of his group, stated that “it would involve a local girl from Benin city”, a statement that did not sit well with Diana and Chichi who hail from Edo state.

The Gray Man has been commissioned to live on in a sequel and a spin-off movie. This move is unsurprising because of how well-received the movie has been since debuting worldwide on Netflix on July 22.

Directors Joe & Anthony Russo and leading man Ryan Gosling are all set to return to their creative roles, alongside the first film’s co-writer Stephen McFeely who’s writing the new script still based on the book series by Mark Greaney.

No official viewership data has been released yet by Netflix, but the streaming service already revealed The Gray Man was already the #1 film in 92 different markets, just one weekend after the film premiered in select 1,500 theaters in 25 countries.

The audience love the movie and clearly want more, with many praising it’s uncommon commitment to crazy action stunts, something the Russo brothers also echoed in their statement.

“The audience reaction to ‘The Gray Man’ has been nothing short of phenomenal. We are so appreciative of the enthusiasm that fans across the world have had for this film.

“With so many amazing characters in the movie, we had always intended for the Gray Man to be part of an expanded universe, and we are thrilled that Netflix is announcing a sequel with Ryan, as well as a second script that we’re excited to talk about soon,” the director brothers said.

No date has been announced for the either the sequel or spin-off’s debut.

He further threatened to expose Eke and a few other people involved in the podcast if they continued speaking ill about him.

“So it’s time to swim with pigs, I am making a bold statement that no lady whosoever has taken care of me. If anyone claims otherwise they should bring out receipts of one thing they have done, I have been quiet because I don’t also want to expose so many people including the show.”

How much will Tems make from being featured in the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

There are several ways artists’ works can feature in movies. Some pre-recorded songs can make their way into film and TV (like Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush in Stranger Things 4 and Daddy Yo by Wizkid in Pacific Rim) while some songs are specifically composed for and released alongside movies, such as No Time To Die (for No Time To Die, 2021) by Billie Eilish, Skyfall (for Skyfall, 2012) by Adele, All The Stars (Black Panther, 2018) by Kendrick Lamar and SZA and lots more.

However, although Tems’ rendition is a cover of Marley’s No Woman No Cry, it will be considered as an original composition for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie, and may be included in a compilation soundtrack. As we know with the last BP movie, we can expect there will be another soundtrack album for this sequel after the success of the previous one chaired by Kendric Lamar.

That implies Tems will get paid for the full work, but will pay royalties to the legendary Bob Marley’s team. Nonetheless, Marvel is one of the wealthiest film studios in the world today, known to go for the best and most talented creatives. To be under their payroll is a dream for many people.

Music and motion pictures form the building blocks for our favourite films and TV series. As quiet as the sleeper hit American thriller ‘A Quiet Place’ was, it still needed sound to underscore the action in the film.

Award shows such as the Grammy and Oscars recognize this, and have made separate categories to honour musicians and composers for original film soundtracks and scores. Films like Black Panther (2015), La La Land (2016), A Star Is Born (2018), James Bond: No Time To Die (2021), and Jojo Rabbit (2021) have all landed Grammy wins in recent years.

If Tems’ performance is eventually released as part of the compilation soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the project performs well like the old one, it may well be set for a Grammy nomination, an Oscar too. And because of Black Panther’s monstrous influence on popular culture, it would be a wiser choice not to best against it winning. Although that would also depend on the quality of other projects.

The seventh season of the reality TV show premiered it’s first live show on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

This year themed ’Level Up’ will see housemates battle and compete for the grand prize of N100M for the next 72 days.

Julie Plec is one of the most recognizable names in TV show production. From Kyle XY, to Containment, to The Tomorrow People, she’d done it all. MIke Tyson has lived a decoratie life in his time as a boxer. He’s the next public figure to have a biopic dedicated to his story and deservedly so.

Trevantes Rhodes takes on Mike Tyson by entering into the heavyweight champion’s skin in Hulu’s Mike. The streaming service recently released the first trailer showing us our best look yet at the actor’s impression of Tyson.

Mike trails Mike Tyson’s life, from his childhood, his title as as world champion, his rape conviction, and the infamous bite.

The official synopsis reads:

“Focusing the lens on Mike Tyson, the series examines class in America, race in America, fame and media power, misogyny, the wealth divide, the promise of the American dream, and ultimately our own role in shaping Mike’s story. Mike is an unauthorized, no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson, and it’s a wild ride.”

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold has revealed that he was born with sickle cell anemia.

The singer opened up on his struggles living with the disease in his latest newsletter released to fans on Friday, July 15.

“It feels liberating to finally be able to share this part of my life with you, to finally be able to speak my truth. When I talk about how I struggled to get to where I am today, I need you to know that my struggle was real.
I was born with sickle cell disease. It was life and death, it was physical, mental, and financial, you name it and I went through it all. It was tough, painful and frustrating. I lived with a sickness no one around me understood. I lived with restrictions all my childhood,” he wrote.

The music star recounted how he was deprived of the several fun activities during his childhood days because of the illness.

“I wasn’t able to join some of the most minor childhood play and liberating activities like going out in the rain. The times when I insisted and rebelled against my parents’ orders and went out in the rain, I would end up having a crisis. The nights were painful and lonely, nights that no one could help me get through. It was just me, God and my mind. The pains and shivers were unbearable.

The father of one shed light on his crisis and how difficult it was for his family to take care of his hospital bills.

“They always came in the night, when my family had no means to transport me to a hospital. We simply couldn’t afford the constant hospital bill so I had no choice but to endure the pain,” he shared.

“My mum wanted me to be well. She did her best. She took me to all the churches she could find. I’m grateful for her because she saw the future in me. A future where no illness or sickness could hold me back from my purpose, from the life I was destined to live.”

“Sickle cell disease took away my freedom, my childhood. I lost friends, a lot of them. Some didn’t understand the restrictions and rules I had to live by, some just didn’t want to deal with my illness or thought it was a nasty or contagious disease that they could catch. I was a burden for some, living with sickle cell is far from living a normal life.

The award-winning singer highlighted the time he begged God to take his life because of the unbearable pains.

“One of the most intense crises I had was at the age of 20, I remember laying in my bed in the middle of the night asking for an end to it all. I begged God to take my life away because I couldn’t understand what I did to deserve the pain my body and mind was under. As usual with sickle cell after some days, the pain subsided and God asked me; “that end you begged me for, do you still want it?”

This movie explored the early years of James Logan (Hugh Jackman), featuring his rivalry with his brother Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber), his service in the special forces team Weapon X, and his experimentation with the metal-lined mutant Wolverine.

The movie wasn’t well received by critics and hasn’t exactly aged well. It’s also notable for being the first and last movie in a once-long plan for more origin stories starring popular X-Men characters like Magneto. One more thing it’s remembered for is its Deadpool live-action debut starring Ryan Reynolds. This, too, hasn’t aged well.

The Wolverine (2013)

Wolverine comes to Japan to meet an old friend whose life he saved years ago and gets embroiled in a conspiracy involving yakuza and mutants.

If you’re a fan of Yakuza and Ninja action pieces, this one’s a must-watch. It’s an exciting solo outing and showcases Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in a darker and much more humane light than most of the other X-Men movies up to this point did.

Logan (2017)

In a future where mutants are nearly extinct, an elderly and weary Logan leads a quiet life. But when Laura, a mutant child pursued by scientists, comes to him for help, he must get her to safety.
Everything that has a beginning has an ending. Logan is the swansong of Hugh Jackman’s illustrious career playing the ferocious mutant with a high healing factor.
