Health / Re: I Easily Lose Consciousness If I Stay In The Sun by Lethal234(m): 4:54pm On Nov 19, 2020
Michelle55:
Please doctors in the house I need your help;

I noticed it first last year but I didn't pay attention to it thinking it was normal for one to be lightheaded after walking under the sun for a couple of minutes. Immediately it happened, I laid down on the bare floor like that till the sun goes down( I noticed peeps were shouting at my friend to do something to help me, I just signalled for her to let me be because I couldn't move a muscle so there's nothing she could have done to help me at that moment ).

Now the reason why I created this thread is that it repeated itself again today and it was sooo embarrassing because it happened in the market where I went to get some food items. Some market women had to empty chilled water on me from head to toe cry took me about 20minutes to get acquainted with my surroundings.

Meanwhile, while growing up I noticed my body doesn't fancy the sun that much but I thought as I get older, everything would have normalized.
Please who has experienced this before and how did you overcome it?
Doctors in the house, what could be the cause of it and the solutions?
Thank you
P.S: Someone said I have a light blood and pressure isn't good for me, please how true is that and can one be assumed to have a light blood (if there's any word like that)

You are not alone.
Every body experiences it, that's why there is a lot of talk about 'global warming'.
The difference here in Nigeria/Africa is most people act tough thereby sacrificing wise head for 'block' head.

Do your shopping once or twice every month to cut the time you go to the market and only go out when it is important or necessary

Try to get a job that keep you indoors or at least keeps you off direct glare of the Sun.
Family / Re: I Find Violent And Authoritative Women Very Attractive. by Lethal234(m): 10:41am On Nov 19, 2020
SweetHearted:
I am from a family whose first born is a female. She is followed by 3 other females. I am the 5th child and the last born is also male.

When we were younger,my sisters use to beat us because they were older and stronger than us. The eldest sister will beat the 2nd child to the last child. The same with the 2nd child. She beat the 3rd to the last child.

So I was brought up under authoritative females.

This has affected me because I find it hard to accept a gentle lady.

I only feel attracted to authoritative and violent ladies.

I find such ladies so attractive that I have never and can never date a girl unless she is authoritative, stronger and more assertive than me.

I always want to be close to women that behave like my sisters when we were younger. My sisters loved me but they showed the love through inflicting of pains.

So I tend to associate a woman's violent behavior to love. I seem to have compassion on women who behave violently and authoritatively.

I only find it easy to be working under a woman. I can't lead but I want to be led by woman. I can only work in a place if the head is a woman.

The last place I worked as a teacher, the head of our department was a woman. She complained that I was so obedient and submissive to her that I never even try to challenge her in any of her decisions unlike other teachers. She doesn't like such men, according to her.

Please I want to know if there is any man that is like me out there.

If so, what do you make of it.

You are seeing this wrongly, what you call violent is strong willed women, and its good if she won't try to use it against you.
Behind every successful man is a woman ( an assertive woman) that could constantly inspire and gas you up.
A woman that would re- energize you on that day you are too weak, too unmotivated to do the right thing.

We vote clueless individuals into public offices - they lack ideas and the political will.... Simple.

The simple thing is you need to understand virtually every leader in the world today are clueless from Africa to Asia to America to Europe, the big difference is in some countries the civil service are strong and the people are actively conscious of their existence.

Hence they strive to live and get the best kind of life.

Take a moment to reflect on the fact Walmart employs over a million persons, a business created by one man, with a vision to accumulate wealth and not just make money. That's living. Not dreams of buying Benz and building a bungalow.

Ethiopians are rugged people.
A civil war will not be funny.

BUT the govt will win.

Well let's just hope it doesn't take too long and wide. If it spills into East Africa countries, it's gonna create a lot of hit. Some people down here are only waiting for the right wavelength.

They started creating trouble.

But president abiy is not like Jonathan.
He is going to crush them with military force.

Yea true, but I know, I just want to know who Is taking the upper hand, heard those guys (tygras or something) has bad ass weapons.

Unfortunately, he may be full of ideas then. I will never understand what changes all these politicians to monsters once they assume power.

The structure, the system, the problems they get overwhelmed and lose their head.

Nigeria Politicians often underestimate in a big way the problem facing the country, so when they gain power the pressure easily consumes them.

When they are contesting they have a game plan. But when they get there they realize the system as been woven into a perfect nut, only a chess master can undo, so what do they do? They just fall into the system and move with the flow and in some instances create their own problem (bokoharam), (herdsmen)-(nepotism).

Personally I want to see where all this ends, but while at it stick with the specifics, take away guess works like Kush and Egypt.

The part of the communication makes perfect sense but needs more in-depth research.

Not quite sure of the totality of the talking drum but the telepathy was spot on.

That's what IFA diviners and witches use. The reason why this things were easy to swept away I think as to do with the fact there were no conventional schools in pre-slavery/colonial Africa, so when the whole shit storm dead down there were no pre-defined structure to fall back on.

Where Nigeria got it wrong, was trying to reach everybody, and spread development round the country all at once.

Leaders from developed countries often have one or two cities they us as target practice in development before spreading outwards.

It is foolishness to think you could provide stable electricity for 200million people all at once, with no real experience.

@Lethal234 you are right.the solution should be what we are looking for.even if APC is voted out and another party take over with this overdependence on oil it will still be the same result.

Exactly, and while at it we should understand the foundation to through development isn't often laid by the government 'unless you are in a Marxist/communist Society' which we often oppose and pretend not to want.

Electricity would probably not have seen the day of light or only subjected to side research with no real Commitment like space science, if not for the bullheadedness of one man.

This man did not do it because he was patriot but for what he can get.
Rail
Cars
Hospitals
And other basic amenities where not often government initiative but profit makers quest for more gains.

After all we claim to be following Americas footsteps ( Democratic Capitalism )
Politics / Re: Nigeria Is A Very Poor Country by Lethal234(m): 8:19am On Nov 14, 2020
Lol, the reason why Nigeria is underdeveloped is easy to spot on this thread.

Every time development, underdevelopment, developing, economy, Nigeria leaders are mentioned everybody stops thinking in terms of solution, but to mainly oppose each other. Like it's some contest of who is more knowledgeable on subject's like History, Politics, economy. Rather than who has more comprehensive and progressive better Solutions.

And why that is also happening is easy to spot as well, we are still immature as a person, as a people, as a country, as a Society.

Once we learn to stop being emotional about our past whenever it's raised we would be able to think and proffer solutions Objectively.

Until then we would still be having visionless ineptitude leadership elected by the ignorant masses.

In other words, the educated and enlightened part of the masses must stop the "I too know" to form a common front, preach it through forums, SMs, blogs, newspapers, radios and other news media like bars clubs. If not, the confusion would still be there enabling clueless persons rise to posts of leadership, because only a confused person can reign over a confused Nation.

But then somehow you would probably agree Africa is the cradle of humankind.

There is nothing like capitalist communism.

Only a selected few can get rich in china

The communist party identifies among its core tasks the advancement of the fundamental interest of the greatest majority of Chinese people. Deng, who famously said poverty is not socialism, interpreted this to mean that it was okay if some people needed to get rich to improve the livelihoods of the masses.

I don't think I need to say much any more, you seem to know where you are going with this argument, only I don't.

So what type of government do you think would make every body in a country rich?

Capitalism is not a form of government, its a social system. It could be practiced under any government, be it Democratic (USA), Marxist (CHINA), feudalist (NIGERIA) if we want to.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Problem Is A Fight Between The Educated And The Non Educated by Lethal234(m): 7:20pm On Oct 27, 2020
Op is right, but it is not about education per say, most of our problem is based on culture.

African culture is kind of ancient, they can't support modernization or modern civilization.

Where the illiterate comes in is that they balk at any and every attempt to modernize Africa, to them it's taking away their heritage.

The poor and illiterate don't want to hear about modification of culture because that's all he/she got left, he calls it is tradition and most never be touched, edited, modified, purified or enlightened on.

And the price for all this is the fact that just as ancient times we still practice the culture where the leader takes it all, only giving to whomever he chose.

Romance / Re: Why Do most Nigerian Men Have This Mentality? by Lethal234(m): 9:44pm On Oct 04, 2020
To me I think the world had been polarized economically in favor of men a long time ago, and this as created financial disparity between both gender.

If fact what I think is a man has more chances of survival on his own than a woman, why, because there are legit hustles men could engage in for finance. Hustles that if taken of the rader lots of men will be as cornered and helpless as women.

But of course that doesn't explain the phenomenon of the fact in working class women, perhaps peer pressure and psychological upbringing will do.

That said, I think the economical situation in the country is the reason why most men are so conscious of where their money goes.
