And then I noticed it cools when am speeding and stops cooling when I slow down or I’m in traffic.

Was told I need to change the compressor. Is this correct please?

it could be the door partially opening or it could be low freon which also indicates a leak. Further diagnosis will have to be done in person. Alternatively if you have a way to get hold of ac gauges, test the system.

More like room temperature from the driver's side; while the passenger vents cools.

It however picks after like 30 minutes or so.

when the car landed last month as tokunbo, ac wasn't cooling at all so i filled the gas.

it worked well for like 2 weeks before this began

Mechanic changed my brake pads (front and back), brake discs and calipers (front)

When he was done, the brake pedal wasn't catching well - had to depress the pedal upto the floor before it picks.

He bled the brakes at the 4 tyres but it still persists.

What can I do?

I feel the port security and managers should rise up and deal with these port theft problems. It's giving the port workers and the nation as a whole a bad reputation and it's also discouraging import/export which in effect harms the economy of the nation.

Just to anyone on this thread. Maybe not a Lexus for your first car. Got a 2006 Lexus IS350 - with the body and lights upgraded to 2012. I am also learning how to drive with it and I have bashed it now. And to replace the grille and bumper, I am being quoted 470K for it’s replacement.

But you only ever bash a car once right?
