I really like how Funke always mix all tribes in her movies, she is a wise woman with vision. Although, most times, it's usually those in the trenches that are being deceived or used as tools for tribal wars. I just registered with Mashmallow Insurance with my UK provisional driver's license.

I indicated that I had driven for 13 years while back in Nigeria and made no claims before coming to the UK.

Now the vehicle insurance is requesting a "proof of your no-claims discount." How do I go about this?

I searched on Autotrader and CarGurus but got mine on Autotrader. The car dealership is close to where i live. Rang them up and went there. The sales man gave me the keys to test drive while holding on to my license. The car drives like a dream. All major checks were done. The price was £6,800 but i negotiated it down to £5,600. The negotiation took a long process but they finally accepted but the best they could do is give me 3 months warranty on the car.

Just as Oga Lexus and some others advised, i paid half the amount with my brothers Credit card just for a little protection. While i transferred the other half to them.

It's a very good thing you paid deposit via your brother's credit card....... If you have a S75 claim, don't mention this 3rd party transaction, because his credit card company might bring out their golden book of excuses......... 🤣😜

NB: Allow your brother proceed with the claim, independently.......

The ticket notice you received was the first one. If you read it carefully it should say that there would be a discount for early payment. Otherwise, call and explain that the time limitation wasn’t stated so can a concession be made for you. Try and sound hungry. If possible suggest that you are struggling and wouldn’t want to add more to your plate- all very gently. Hopefully you get someone nice.

P.S- Because it’s the council you can’t ignore. Some tickets you can actually ignore. It depends.

I doubt the council would revert back to 50%....... Remember, they want you to pay the higher price......

They don't even want you to pay the 100%, they like to escalate the ticket...... That £35.00 ticket, would morph into £800 ( this is what they love)........

Hello my people, please how do I handle this situation?

I parked on a yellow line during kids' school rush hour last month and I got a ticket notice. I was willing to pay anyway because it was clear I parked wrongly.

I didn't get any ticket or letter until yesterday when I received council letter saying I didn't pay my fine within 14 days and so forfeit the chance of paying 50% so I'll have to pay full £70 now.

I'm confused because I didn't receive their first notice. Is there a way I can challenge this and pay 50% i.e £35?

Catch 22 ..... If you tick Yes, and an equally qualified candidates says NO....... They might select the other candidate, but you don't want to say No, then require sponsorship........😁

But best to be upfront and honest...... Also when going for an interview, it's important to have some knowledge, about the company (they might simply ask you '' what do you know about this organisation " You don't want to be gazing into the ceiling.......😄🤣
