weedtaker: This match will end up in a draw, madrid's formation shows that they are not setting up in an all attacking play, but madrid are on a great form, their last away defeat was against barca, juventus on de oda hand are on a very good home form, and unlike madrid, they don't have anything to worry about in their league matches, so they'll risk everything to come out on top in this mouthwatering fixture, but madrid themselves are on a great run and CR7 is on fire.. And with CR7 on fire u can't stop him 4rm giving ur defence problems. You are very wrong ,Madrid has a lot to worry about ,they re under pressure cos what is remaining for them is to get the champions league .infsct among the remaining team in the champions league ...they have a lot to worry about cos others have something to show for this season except Madrid . |

Icon4s: Success is better and more exposed than Awoniyi. Success should lead d attack If u will judge by exposure , then Awoniyi shld not and will not be on d reserve bench . But if u consider who is equal to d task by virtues of present form in respective of "level of d match played" and don't forget success is part of the team but he has not played with them since the existence of the team . I am still of the opinion that if Manu decides to use a single striker upfront it shld be Awoniyi and if Garba wants to play 2 strikers it's a decision that is best known to him . |
Sports › Re: Who Should Lead The Attack For Manu Garba U-20 Team In New Zealand??? by lexyman(m): 9:41am On May 05, 2015 |
zoboizee: Success is the most clinical. A team player, Strong, pacy and skillful. His positioning is awesome. Awoniyi will still remain third best to me. His popularity is as a result of the absence of success and iheanacho. Bet you, if those guys have been playing national team football ever seen after u17 world cup, nobody will rate awoniyi this much. Remember he was in morocco 2013 but a hamstring to success gave him the big break in UAE. if iheanacho had played with success the way he played with awoniyi in UAE, success would have scored more than 7 goals in morocco. But in the competition in morocco when he played with Success he was always trying to make a point and being selfish a bit. So a well school iheanacho in distribution paired with Success will beat any team with wide margin come rain or shine. Ezeh to me, should still be below simon and pyagbara. But might be choosen anyway. He is a product of nff. I will disagree with you based on what u said concerning playing success and iheanacho would have yielded more goals for success ? To me Awoniyi has don so well , he's been smart to grab every opportunity that comes his way ...if he wasn't sharp enough he wouldn't have scored a brace in the under 23 team to qualify the team. It will be a big risk for Manu Garba to change is winning team . But I am happy that we have all the right players to execute the job . |

Daninya11: Awoniyi is doing his job well, no doubts about it.. Every player has his quality. . Don't you think the coach will settle for 2 strikers upfront? ? I ve been thinking in that direction too , but 2strikers may put the midfield under pressure if they are not getting it right . I will prefer a 4-2-3-1 formation which is more modern ..let the ATM play as an assistant striker |

Daninya11: Manu Garba should opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation or a 4-5-1 formation.. Awoniyi will do well in any of the formation , his hold up play has been a good advantage for the team. Either success or chidiebere shld come from the bench . Success can blend well with the team later but will Manu change is winning team? |

I will give that slot to Taiwo awoniyi judging by overall performance and consistency ...also he has blended so well with the team and he understands d functionality of d midfield.
Based on club performance and highest number of goals ,I will give it to pygbara ... But since his invitation to d under 20 he has not performed to expectation .
If I am to judge out of role or position frm Manu Garba perspective ,I will give it to Iheancho , but he has not really done much in this uner 20 team, it will be a big gamble playing him as a striker .
I think the best man for the job is the current prolific striker and success shld come from the bench if he makes the team . Very healthy competition in d team , they will really do well. |

Daninya11: Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Emmanuel Ikpeme has revealed that federation is sparing no expenses to ensure the boys get quality preparations ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand. According to the federation’s scribe, the squad is now famous after its exploits in the United Arab Emirates, winning the U17 World Cup. “Every country knows the flying eagles is the team to watch out for” He told to footballlive.ng. Incidentally, Coach Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade who are now with U20 team both ruled the dugout at the world stage in the U.A.E championship while positioning the team for greatness. “The team is now in Germany for their training camp and believe me when I say that they will play nothing less than two to three friendly matches before they leave” “We are doing this because we know that that team is the team that all participating country will be looking out for and that’s why we said the team should go to Germany so that they can get quality teams to play in friendly matches” The coaching crew has been given a long stick to work with as 30 players were allowed to travel, in which nine will be dropped and the final 21-man squad will proceed to New Zealand, all in the bid to create competition in the team. The Flying Eagles of Nigeria departed the shores of the country on Wednesday to arrive in Germany Thursday morning. I hope this ur info is genuine , I read that , they didn't travel yesterday ....all thesame thanks for the update . Hope to see the guys fly in newzealand come June . |

safarigirl: the boy is a better midfielder than Striker. See, we no dey find striker, we get those ones. We NEED a PERFECT 10 and Kelechi is probably the closest we'll get to that anytime soon. Is James Rodriguez not an AM? Does he not score goals? Isn't he better than Suarez? And we have someone that has same talent as Rodriguez if not more and you think he's better as a striker?
Too much English no good, Man City people don't know best, those people are just looking for some black mule to do their bidding, if something something happen along the way, na so we go gather here in 10 years dey talk of the boy in his heydays like we do with Mikel.
If Manu saw him and all his gifts and thought him best for AM, then I trust his judgment better than I do some white guys in Europe I totally agreed with u, we have so many talents in that department playing him as a striker will limit is ability , if the goals are not coming , but as Am .he will play to his full potentials by creating opportunities for others . Manu knows best . |

Kanu is very correct ! I could remember @ the under 17 World Cup when he was called up from the bench , he delivered. He is now in d under 20 , he is delivering , and when he had the opportunity in d under 23 AAG qualifier ...he also delivered . He has been very consistent and ready to grab every opportunity that comes his way ,that alone is a good sign that he is a star in d making . I pray that he's injury free and be lucky enough to have big opportunity that comes his way. |

The idea behind coach Manu Garba's team is to have 1st eleven and 2nd eleven of equal strength ....he actually want a team that when a player is not available for or injured before a match there is always a better replacement .
I want to see another player that can play in Musa Mohamed's wing . |

He would bench Yahaya and bulbwa/ ezeh. i think he would be the main star at the world cup.
I really hope that he does not rush to a big club. Did he score yesterday ? I really liked the competition in that age group . The problem Manu Garba may likely have is selecting the best .... I pray that they will be injury free come June . |

They might end up leaving our players with broken bone. We don't pray for that.. We need the best legs in the world cup squad. Their game wasn't spectacular yesterday and they didn't play rough ....I hope . The Malians side are better than them , I think we play same style of footie with the Malians . Ghana has some good midfielders Ifeanyi Mathew and Idowu shld be able to take care of that ,but the Ghanians are very weak on d wings ... I hope to see a good match against our old rival come Wednesday . .. |
