Daninya11: Okay, let me cite reasons why I chose to use the word, clueless on Keshi.. 1.what had keshi done well since the exit of Slyvanus Okpala?. 2.Have you noticed that he don't know when to make substution, who to substitute? ? 3.No definate pattern of play for the super eagles? ??. 4.His poor squad selection 5.His poor way of reading the game. .
To be honest with you, Slyvanus Okpala is the genius behind the success of Stephen Keshi. He is tactically and technically far ahead of Keshi. I tell you Keshi have exhausted his football acumen since the exit of Okpara. . It's high time for him to throw the towel. . Do you know that Emmanuel Amunike played a major role with the tiki-taka play of the Flying Eagles?? After his exit, it seems like his absent is not felt thanks to the genius, Manu Garba and Nduka Ogbade.. For Keshi, he had nose dive. .
As touching the issue of individual talent, I rather have a bunch of average players who are a team. I think we have formidable players who are a little bit above average who can get results for Nigeria. . Look at the players Keshi keep inviting, are they not far below par??. I believe we are blessed with players who are far above average who can do us proud. Finidi George was discovered in far away Malta and at a time, he was the best winger in the world. We won the nation's cup with average players. When Egypt won the nation's cup thrice, they were a bunch of average players who play regular football not a bunch of rookies who are match rusty claiming to be exceptional. Sir lexyman, a team who play average players can achieve great result if they play as a team.. T-together E-each A-achieve M-more. . I agreed with you that Keshi has his short comings as a coach , but I must let you know this sir. He once assembled a fantastic team to win the nations cup in 2013 and he can do better than that if he's given the support . Although he has his bad side too as a coach ( he doesn't take responsibility when his team fail or when things go wrong) but I think he would have done well in the past if they didn't denied him of his back room staff , he knows his weakness and he chose some caliber of people to work with, but Nff denied him of the resources he needed to succeed . You can't have a perfect set of crew , Manu can't work alone , he knows he needed Ugbade and as u can see they are doing well together and it's yielding results .The problems we have now was originated from glass house , (Nff) and that is what is also affecting our league . Don't forget ,the product of our league is the reflection of what you are seeing in the super eagles ... Except some individuals who have managed to travel out of the shore of the country to play in some funny league around the world . You and I know that we don't really have any exceptional talents among the international footballers we have ,90% of them are bench warmers . Please take your mind back to the set of players we had in USA 94 . Majority of them were in major league in the world . And Nigeria league back then was very functional and people were passionate about football ,So was the set of players we had in France 98 . Can you ask ur self what has gone wrong? The Nff has seen their flaws and they re working at the moment to put things in place ...they have a structure already that they have put in place ....which is training of coaches and building of football academy to encourage the youth . And don't forget this projects are for the future ...if they fail to restructure our league , it's like back to square one . My brother ,Keshi is not that bad the way u have painted it to be , if Keshi handles these boys after the World Cup , they can become world beaters and we can be the first team in Africa to win the senior Worldcup. |

Daninya11: The fact remains that a clueless coach will find it difficult to handle talented players.. He will end up messing them and making them look ordinary..
I have opined earlier that, NFF should have appointed a cameo head coach pending till the return of manu Garba and Nduka Ogbade after the u20 world Cup. . I disagreed with you, Keshi is not clueless , the quality of the players we possessed has determined our level in football , if we have exceptional player I am in support that he will do well. |

femi9naija: Analysing Moses Simon, the guy has got pace, strength, good ball control, low center of gravity and can use both feet well. He's mostly used on the left in Gent but can also play on the right. His position depends on the strategy of the coach. Add these to ur analyses : dribbles well , accurate passes and an eye for goals . |

joseph1013: It's instructive to me that Gent has just won the Belgian title for the first time in their history. They were not a title favourite when the season started. Infact by the end of last year they were not a title contender. Simon Moses came in January from Slovakia, scored some vital goals, made some vital assists, committed defenders to give vital penalties and Gent won the title with a game in hand.
That's impresive, lady and gentlemen! Fantastic! Nigerian flying eagles player made the difference . |

Simon Moses is a BALLER!! folks... did not score but was a terror in chief, he was felled by the Liege defender for Gent's second goal today (A penalty) .
I seriously think, he is better than Musah Yahaya and Bulbwa. He glides past his marker with pace....
Chai!!! Manu is blessed with talents. Just like that! Every of the player has a role to play .But going by the youtube clips of Moses Simon , I will prefer him on the left to perform the magic and make us proud . |

I remembered in 2013 this set of U-20 then u-17 were anticipating to play d brazillians who were also free scoring side at d final. But unfortunately d bra didn't get to d final. Hmmm-I SMELL A A TOUGH MATCH. #FLYFlyEAGLES This present crop of Brazilian team are not the free scoring side , they play more of defensive style of football , I hope the style has changed if not they will be punish for it . |

It's not like they organise top notch friendlies for any NT, they don't pay coaches and technical staff as at when due, they don't even have a foreign coach with a ridiculous salary on their payroll, so wetin dem dey use money do? Something is Wrong with the system , about a week a go I read on this thread his intention to fund the falcon and give them all their allowances , he even stated. It that, if they want the match bonuses before they leave the shore of the county that he will give it to them ( empty promises ) something that caught my attention was the usage of "I will " I in three different paragraphs, thought that he will personally Pay them from his pocket even if Nff is broke ... We don't really need this kind of administration , the negative effect can be very colossal on the teams in general . |

safarigirl: thank you. Please, how many test matches did they play enroute the U17 world Cup? The fact that a team plays well against quality opponents pre-tournament doesn't mean they'll replicate the performance when it counts.
Let us remember how Super Eagles took the game to Italy in their pre-World Cup friendly, what happened when it mattered?
These things are just test matches so the boys can achieve cohesiveness and learn to understand each other on the field, it desn't really count for much in reality Some people still don't believe that the team is good , even d dropped players , are better than the set of players we have in d super eagles camp . The logic behind this is d mindset of the players, they re hungry for success and they re fully prepared to face the world , at the same time they have d right calibers of players to execute the job... Just a little tactical discipline in d defense line and their "name will be written in gold " people with mindset of " good test match" shld erase that in their mind , these guys are red hot and u can't take it from them . |

Icon4s: A good test match for Ghana. Nigeria should forget all those German U23 clubs and face some real tests too. Nothing wrong in playing 1 or 2 European/Asia/South American U20 sides. How do u mean by a good test match? Ghana lost to Portugal doesn't mean they had a good test match . Even if we play against any of the highly rated team and we come out victorious with wide margin u will still want another match . These guys are good ,they played the last match with d dropped players . |

femi9naija: I love the competition in this team. How will the front line be with Nacho, Moses 'Daddy Ajala' Simon, Success now joining the party. It means there might be no starting place for Musa Yahaya, Bernard Bulbwa and Awoniyi. Yea u read that correctly, Awoniyi. Success was preferred to him at the U17s. If not for Success' injury, we might not be able to see what he's worth. And then he has this uncanny attitude of missing chances. Moving on to midfield, Nwakali might have just lost his place to Ifeanyi Mathew. Then he has Kingsley Sokari to partner him. This the the chance for Manu Garba's boys to prove their worth cos European and South American teams take the U20s way seriously than the U17. Good luck to the team. If u are Manu garba that is what u will do in your selection ? Football is not played that way , to win a match you need players that are ready :physically , mentally and that understands the rhythm of the game, ...Simon , iheanacho and success will stay on the bench in the first match for the guys u want to put on the bench for them ....even I doubt if success will be able to put Awoniyi on the bench . |

An instagram post of Nigeria Under-20 striker Taiwo Awoniyi dancing to a popular hit song by rapper Olamide has made wave on the internet the past few days and Mowizsoccer can now reveal the mystery behind the dancing.
In a chat Awoniyi revealed he is a big fan of the YBNL record label owner and his latest track "Shakiti Bobo" inspired him into asking teammate Dele Alampasu to teach him the popular dance step called Shoki.
"I have been trying to have a signature celebration dance if i score at the World Youth Championship and i so love the shoki dance hence i asked my teammate Alampasu who dances very well to teach me" He told Mowizsoccer.
"Am not that good a dancer but am trying and hopefully i will perfect it before the World Cup proper,it will be nice to celebrate with a popular dance step for Nigerians at home".
The inform forward is expected to lead the line for Nigeria at the championship and his recent act of trying to perfect a dance step for goal celebration further highlighted his confidence mood ahead of the tournament.
So far in friendly games ahead of the tournament he has scored five goals from three games.[/b] Please learn it ... But I will prefer u guys stick to your kind of celebration at the under 17 level it gives your opponent one kind funny feeling ,at thesamae time u were able to control the crowd with the style .shoki will not control d fan ....just my take . |

Wao, he will be very useful in the team. He loves to surge forward with the ball.
Pairing this guy with the attackers up front will augur well for the team. He will be very useful with the counter attack pattern of the team.
With the array of fast footed attackers that we have in the team, goals will keep rolling in.. With Awoniyi hold up play , combine with this lad to take on defenders ,menh any defense will tremble . |
