EuniqueBabe: Documents overload may work against you, my opinion. So if possible just put what directly is relevant to validate your claims and attach the table of content to make it organized for the officer reviewing them |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Lezy: 10:14pm On May 25, 2022 |
If table of content is not included, that doesn't affect the application? I had table of contents but my documents were lots, I compressed, compressed until compressor said no more compression. Then I remove some documents including table of contents. Chuksiesmom: Yes. You can include them in the other sections. To make it easy for the vo to understand, kindly put a table of content before each section to make it easy for the vo to know what documents are there. Hope this helps. |

Akexstinger: If you have backup explanation for the lump sum then no problem . For me my sponsor had 22k US dollars and gave me his bank statement which I used in January. From January to now is a long a period or time, so I asked him to send me 2.4 million into my account yesterday , and he also reprinted his bank statement showing 20k US dollars, I also went to my PFA to get a new letter which showed an improved pension fund from 2.3M in January when I submitted it the first time to 2.8M yesterday and that I can access 25 percent of it. Also the money I had in my two accounts have been there since January to now and I have also done transactions in my account since January to now. Also it was after I submitted my application that I paid my tuition balance of 7900 Cad from the same account. And then got a new leave letter from my company showing new dates because I had to defer from APril to September since my visa no come out since Ok. So that mean I can send my updated bank statement, initially had 13m, now 15m, so I want to send them the new statement, then I was told it won't be okay, you have motivated me to go ahead and send it. |

Akexstinger: You n I are in the same shoe. Applied January 4th. Eligibility started May 4 , ordered for 3rd GCMS note May 5th, and then yesterday I sent them my updated bank statement and POF and then today I sent them my personal property documents, gift deed of land n property and the documents from my dad and attached photos of me n my Dad and also of my mum then my dad’s age declaration and my own via webform n via email. I no wan hear story, I wan try seal up the ones I no put initially. Tomorrow I will send them by school transcripts, secondary school transcript , my expired IELTS general training Cert of 2018, English language proficiency letter from my school and additional professional certification, I didn’t put all these things before , I only uploaded my school certificate. And my previous two GCMS notes didn’t say anything apart from background info sharing complete. So waiting up till now is God, and my 3rd GCMS note will come next 2 weeks, and with eligibility already started after 5 months then it means any moment decision can come out , so since I never see GCMS note then make I Kuku de send them Wetin I get I wanted to send my updated bank statement and someone said here that is not good that IRCC will see it as Lum sum? Did you get the information from experienced person that you can resend your bank statement? |

Oh, and GT B made paid huge amount of money. Must I have an account with StandBTC before they could process my Form A? Please, advise so I can use StandBTC next time Thanks. Ketima: Hello,
As at yesterday, USD$ is 415 and CAD$ is 332 at StanbicIBTC which I used for someone. So it can't be 575 for form A |

How come your CBN rate is 323? I went to pay my tuition fees with Form A, which I had already filled and I went to the GT Bank, they told me the rate 575? Ketima: Hello Uzoamaka,
The bolded is a wise idea, don't waste your dollar by paying tuition using your dollar when you can make use of CBN form A at a cheaper rate. You have already done the maths to know the difference. So go with your plan. |

Congratulations. May this testimony cerculate on this platform in Jesus' name. I submitted my application but didn't include table of contents. Should I be concerned?? quin9: Timeline It has ended in praise!!! I return all Glory to the most high God. VIsa Background: I have had 2 previous Canada Visits refusals, one student visa refusal and USA refusal(at renewal).I mentioned them on the forms but only talked about the Study permit refusal on my letter of explanation. School: University Canada West Course: MBA *First Application* * Applied 28th of September * Biometric done since 2019 Upfront Medical 7th September(before application) it was updated to pass on 25th of October Refusal November 8th Reason: Based on economic and employment situation. Ordered Gcms Nov 12,Recieved 12th January 2022.
*2nd Application* Applied November 21,2022 PPR: 16th May 2022. Sent Enrollment letter through Webform in January (I resumed classes online). I finished first term online and took a break off the second term to wait for visa.
BACKGROUND I started following this thread In 2018,that time ehn refusal rate was high,And processing time na die!.I got discouraged,I decided to try visiting visa and was denied twice, then I gave up on Canada.Last year I decided it was time to Japa.Masters in UK was the plan I was already in the process when i realized I could actually just try Canada first.I immediately came back and started reading this thread,I contacted one of your favorites here to handle my application but unfortunately I was refused.I dusted myself up,encouraged myself by myself immediately based on knowledge gathered here,I did my thing myself this time, wrote a New SOP(when Gcms came, they said my study plan was poorly documented and vague!),if only VO knew how much I paid e no go talk that rubbish…lol.Well I gathered all the missing documents,I knew could address the concerns and refired.
What I did differently 1. I included my CV(I had seen people get PPR without submitting it,so I didn’t add it in the first app). 2. letter of introduction stating my position and role as a Director (in hubby’s company). 3. Reference letter from past employer 4. Letter of introduction from my personal business 5. Bank Reference letter from my personal business account. 6. Invoices/ business receipts 7. Business card 8. Pictures of business premises and me at work 9. Nominations and award certificates and pictures 10. Lots and lots of prayer.
* Documents Submitted*
*IRCC FORMS* 1. Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM1294E), 2. Family Information form (IMM5645E) 3. Temporary Resident form (IMM5257B)
*Applicants personal documents* 1. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission, 2. Tuition Deposit Receipt 3. Birth Certificate 4. Police Character Certificate 5. WAEC Certificate 6. Passport Bio data page 7. family picture (parents, siblings and another including their spouses nieces/nephews) 8. Statement of Purpose (SOP) 9. NYSC discharge certificate 10. Degree certificate 11. Transcripts 13. IELTS Certificate 14. 1 copy of Passport Photograph. 15. Parent’s ID (NIN slips) 16. Previous visa and travel stamps
*Employment/financial documents*
1. Certificate of business registration(mine) 2. Letter of Introduction from husband's company indicating that i’m a director 3. Particulars of directors of the business 4. Statement of Accounts (All MBS)Two of mine,One of the business and One of hubby’s. 5. 4 months payslips 6. Employment letter 7. Study leave letter 8. Reference from past employer 9. Business invoices, introduction letter,Business card, pictures of me at work, business space,Awards and nominations
*Proof of Relationship Documents*
1. Pictures with husband and kids 2. Marriage Certificate 3. Wedding Photos 4. Affidavit of change of Name 5. Newspaper change of name
*Husband’s Documents*(Sponsor)
1. Certificate of business registration 2. Particulars of directors of the company 3. Article of Association and Memorandum 4. International passport bio data page 5. letter of Sponsorship 6. Landed property documents(Deed only for all). 7 . Tenancy agreements and rent receipts from Tenants. 9 .Statement of Account 10. Letter of non-indebtedness from bank(for the business) 11. Notarized letter of Consent(for son)
*Child’s Documents* 1. Birth Certificates 2. International passport bio data pages 3. Email correspondence with a Daycare center close to my school.
I created a table of content and a link to each document so it’s easy for VO to access them.
NOTE: Na God dey give PPR in all. There is nothing like too much documents, just ensure it’s relevant to prove your case,I added only the basics in the first application and I thought my app was well packaged but basics didn’t work for me,even the SOP by a guru who handled my app from start to finish didn’t cut it.Imagine all the extras I needed to prove my case, things that I never even attached much importance to,when I read timelines of people who added all these documents,I felt like they were doing the most but see me,I ended in those same shoes. To add,one of my Gcms notes, also came in today. Best wishes to everyone praying and believing God for PPR …May the Same joy locate you. |

Can I DM you, please? yyeskez: I'm not too sure about that one so I'd say you should get consultancy.
But sha the way I see it, it's like you had 2 properties tying you down at your home country. If you sell 1, your liquid funds increase, but your home ties have reduced. In any case, the 1 property should still serve as a strong tie. If you have your immediate family living in Nigeria even better. From what I understand, the visa officer will weigh everything up and see if your tendency to japa is high, if it is then ... wahalur |

What of if you have two properties and you decided to sell one, remaining one in Nigeria? Does that also indicate you want to japa? yyeskez: This might not play so well in your favor in the end: "Owning property indicates strong home ties, selling it indicates japa tendencies." This is the case even when you're trying to use the sale of the land as part of your P.O.F. So I was told sha , I no be consultant... |

Ok, thanks. JustMellow: Hello Lezy,
An affidavit is a legal document and may not be enough to help the officer to assess your income stream(s) and its reliability. Provide financial documentation that will help demonstrate that your funds come in continually in amounts that are not irregular.
It could be a contract agreement, sales & invoice receipt, investment certificate, business registration certificate, employment information, etc. Given the sum being talked about is huge, documentation that covers the business transaction will be required.
Best of Luck |

Only if you have sufficient justification otherwise, it will be classified as a borrowed or arranged (lump) sum.
Best of Luck |

If you click the space and doesn't allow you to type, leave it. Hope others will add their inputs to this. gascoigne462: Please oo I still haven’t gotten any answers to these questions. Please kindly help answer these important questions. TIA |

Did you link your GC Key to your new IRCC portal by entering your UCI number in the UCI section in the new IRCC portal? ami213: Please reapply using the new portal with recent documents, you are not losing any spot. You will get a quicker response with the new portal. I did same thing as well.
You can’t link the two applications together. The GCkey is different from the new portal.
You do not have to contact IRCC.
You can have two applications running concurrently. You can’t apply for SOWP using the new portal, it is for SP and VV. |

Thank you for response. God bless you. Yes, the visitor visa is submitted since December 2021. I will be truthful in the study application as advised. Thanks Venekconsultt: Hmmm I have been avoiding the late talk which are faults of agents for applicants as it hurts. There's no room to rush for but yet carelessness takes the day(SAD). if the visitors form is yet to be submitted I'll say you get on the correction noted on your travel history and stating and ending your degree. However if you r yet to set out on your travel visa I'll advise u don't apply for the student visa yet till after ur travel application but if you had already completed ur travel visa period n wants to embark on the study route, I'll advise you seek out for an edit on your application. 1- YES tick the yes option(from your 4 travels) 2- YES ALSO FILL ALL CORRECT/ TRUTH IN THE FORMS FOR STUDY ROUTE WHICH YOU AIM TO EMBARK ON. 3- I don't think it's necessary ur company writes VO on your salary stuff. if indeed you have sufficient funds or a sponsor. No doubt your study route will not be an easy one(I don't wanna scare you) but you just have to take any single opportunity you got and THE TRUTH THROUGH OUT THE STUDY APPLICATION TO ME IS THE BEST SHOT.
Any further thing that needs clarity(should the VO asked) can be answered (in a well confident manner) upon request during interview. Finally avoid going into quarrel with your agent and rather channel such strength on your study route as it's a long way ahead. KEEP YOUR APPLICATION GOING WITH FINGERS CROSSED |
