My visa application was approved and I give all glory to God. I actually joined this group after I have submitted my application. I got to know about this thread from my friend that is in Canada already who helped me all through the process. The knowledge he gained from this group has added value to my life. So I decided to share my timelines.
I am a first applicant and I applied on the old portal, he didn't know about the new portal as at the time we submitted my application. I decided to travel to Canada last year October 2021 and secured admission to UCW.

Application submitted- December 23
Biometrics- January 4
Medicals passed- January 20
Eligibility begins- February 14
Decision for Approval l- March 14.

Hopefully your visa gets approved before your conference date but if not you should leave this application and it will most likely be approved before the june edition and you can use it then... You can just ask for a new invitation from the organizers if you miss this edition for reference if you want to travel by june

Good Afternoon House ,

I applied for a visa to attend a conference scheduled to hold between 20 and 24 of next month .
I submitted my application on 29/11/2021, biometrics was done on 10/12/2021. No response from them since and the conference is less than one month.
Can I still reapply using the new portal considering the time frame ? Or should I just get a new invitation from the organizers for the June edition ? If yes can I still submit the same documents e.g bank statements ..

I sent in my application for TRV 25th of January(visit, no family). Sent in additional docs through webform and email but got no reply. Just decided to try my luck and email these offices for updates.. Nairobi, London, Lagos, Abuja and Accra. I only got a reply from Abuja.

Eligibility hasn't started though. I am wondering if this means my application is being handled by Abuja or if they haven't even transferred to a VO yet. Though it's still early , but seeing some people in January get their eligibility started already and some ppr. Anybody with just tourist and no family reunification?

Don't waste time to send a we form to them. Fill another form with the updated background information at an attachment. Tell them that you just realised that you skipped it. Don't let them ask you before you notify them. And remember to keep the copy of the we form you send including the submission page. That will be your defense in case the VO wants to be funny

I’m 30 y/o, First time Applicant, Self Sponsored, 14yrs study Gap (I dropped out of school in yr 2010 because I loss my financial backbone which is my Mom but since then God has been there for me). I only apply with my 2008 NECO results, No IELTS, My proposed program is 2yrs Undergraduate(Associate Degree). I do everything myself with the help of my gurus here.

I started this journey early 2021, i don’t even have an idea on where to start. Anytime I burst to this platform read people testimonies, documents submitted and all I will just give up and stop readings because of my study gap. I don’t even that someone don’t need IELTS or Toefl to get admission, but mumu me went and register for Toefl class, I did Toefl like 3times still I didn’t meet up the 20scores in each section….. So I give up again, I just made up my mind to jejely they crush for 9ja and keep doing my business…..One day I came to this thread again to continue reading and I now realize you don’t really need IELTS or Toefl for both admission & Visa.. So I dedicate 1weeks readings this thread, I started researching for schools that offer the course of what I’ve been doing for over 10yrs (Career progression) So July, 2021 I submitted my application to Durham college, this next day, Durham rejected my application coz of study Gap, Mumu me didn’t read where it was stated that Durham college don’t accept nothing less than 5year study gap. I don’t give up I kept researching for colleges that offer my course. I applied to three schools again and I got offer letter from all of them. I submitted like two school application form through Applyboard.com while I apply for other one directly to the school.

I upload the merge one in the additional document section and continuation in the consent form section.
To all still waiting for PPR, God will surprise y’all with PPR. To people been delay, refire approval is certain IJN.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay. As stipulated in subsection 216. Of the IRPR. Based on your personal assets and financial status.
