..while hoping that the water won't come to reclaim the land later. Lagos and indeed the entire southwest need a very fast rail system such that one can still live in Ogun and still work in Lagos with no stories |
Even if there will be war which is unlikely, I doubt it will be fought with physical hardwares. |
Things will never remain the same, post Covid-19. My sympathy with the private school teachers who will still bear this brunt desire the fact that ma y of them have not been paid since April. |
I know Malema's group will be involved. A country without a vibrant legislature is doomed. Anyone who has followed the state of the nation address by the president at the parliament of South Africa and how the opposition especially the EFF do engage him will appreciate democracy. |
Yes ....on Twitter |
If only the metro lane initiated by Jakande was not cancelled, Lagos may not be in this mess of harrowing traffic all of the times. |
They will do everything to make the status quo remain. Those who benefits from the insecurity wouldn't want it end. I sympathize with the gallant men who sacrifice daily to keep the terrorists at bay. The day of reckoning for the saboteurs comes soon. |
Lockdown isn't fashionable and sustainable any longer. WHO says the virus has come to say just like the others. We have to find a way around it and live with it. Next is to reopen schools and other businesses |
Sahara Reporters are really on this man What exactly are EFCC and ICPC waiting for? |
The candidate of PDP in 2016 becomes a leading candidate in APC in 2020. Who says these businessmen are loyal? |
Not unexpected |
They both have personal issues to settle. They don't need to involve the public. |
Luxury items should attract higher taxes. But then, the rich won't want to be taxed 'mercilessly' for another set of rich to |
RIP to the departed. |
If Covid-19 wouldn't make direct primary fashionable, then there's no reason to have the major election since note people would be involved |
Old age comes naturally with health challenges. All past leaders owe Nigeria unreserved apologies and surrender their wealth to the nation. |
The ethics committee found nothing on him. But they must probe further, dig further just so to discover the stain. The fact that he's the only candidate for such a post may be threatening for those who do not want him. Akinwunmi should surrender himself for further scrutiny, finding him clean will further boost his image and credentials |
The only people at the receiving ends here are the teachers in these schools who labored so much but get peanuts at the end. Many of these proprietors are capitalists and modern day slave masters. They live large and build structures while their workers can barely change shirts. Whatever happens to the profits these workers have made for them over the years. Imagine after collecting school fees for a term of 4 months, but stopped paying salaries since March. |
So the CoS made appointments and approvals without the consent on the President. If this story is true, does this not validate the suspicion that the President was never in charge and maybe oblivious of happenings in his government? |
Killers are always not comfortable with swords around them. Those who take pride in criticising and insulting others wouldn't take a quarter of what they do to others if table turns |
I don't know of any Commissioner of Police that takes orders from the Governor, I don't know of any. Reform of everything about the police is long overdue. |
PMB should please add the Local Governments to the list if he can. Any Governor who doesn't like it can resign. Soon states will begin to form and empower anti-corruption agencies. . |
The Government cannot force people to make a compulsory donation to any purse. Persuasion would have worked. Now how many people would he sack? |
Everyone just want to position their men at the vantage position to be able to cash in big. None of them is fighting for the good of the masses. None of them. |
Say no more Buba. It is one of the low points of this administration. I can only say congratulations to the contractors and suppliers of the items. They are the real beneficiaries. |
The same Obasa whose cover Sahara Reporters have been blowing recently. I hope they wouldn't see this as the Licence to bring dagger into the state's treasury. Next is the Local Governments |
Fear Allah now. Almost #3Billion just like that! To even think these guys just finished fasting o. I personally don't subscribe to the idea of giving people fish at all times. Why not empower them to be able to feed themselves and their relatives so that the government will have lesser people to take care of next year. |
Gambari must have forgiven Femi or they still find him useful, otherwise, he shouldn't have lasted a week after the appointment of Gambari. I insist that Femi knows exactly what he's doing, he's no novice, he's not a dullard. He has his predecessors to learn from. He knew what the job entails before accepting it. You cannot be the Presidential spokesperson in this present Nigeria and still remain a darling of the people. You have to chose one and Femi has chosen one! I just hope he wouldn't later tell us of some evil spirits in the Rock that derailed him. As for the writer, what would you have done differently were you in Femi's shoes. |
