Buhari too served Abacha. This might be an opportunity for their reunion . |
Buhari himself served under Abacha, this may be an opportunity for their reunion and continuation from where they stopped back then. |
He must have made a great deal of profit from Kanu as per Baba Ijebu wey him be. Papilo was a great player but onshore and offshore |
It could be that Shehu isn't in the scheme of things on the Villa again. Regardless, he has 'chopped' his own and time to leave the stage. |
Here we go again. There is hardly a clean person from those that had been in the corridor of power from the past. |
A single private individual with six policemen, not even an elected official o. Now we can all see why 1 million boys and other criminals run amock and there are no policemen in sight. The person who approved the deployment of the policemen in the first instance needs to be queried. |
If only we can just start 2020 afresh. |
1. It's Ado-Odo/Ota and not Ado Ota 2. Who gives the fine for breaking the restriction order? The court or the Government? If it's the court, then no reason to complain. Not if it's the agent of the government that apprehends you and summarily slam the charge on you without trial, then I think this is a lesser version of what Wike did. |
What's with this attempt at smuggling the Almajiris down South lately? The Southern leaders should jettison party affiliation and take tough measures against this nonsense now. |
Have you also considered Prod. Iwu's herbal remedy? The man may be a controversial electoral umpire but let's not discard his scientific discoveries. |
There's absolutely nothing wrong in the governor trying to enforce the lockdown order and apprehending defaulters in his state. He has the responsibility to protect the citizens of the state. What is wrong is the governor trying them on the spot, finding them guilty or otherwise and executing the judgement on the spot! Where's that done in modern democracy? |
For a fact, one can remember the attempt of the PDP/GEJ government towards tackling the menace of the Almajiri by the establishment of the Almajiri schools across the North, even though that may not be the best solution as I wld have love the total abolishment and criminalization of the archaic system. But what becomes of it, those that profits from the rot and use the vulnerable kids as assets for electoral gains wouldn't let the attempt succeed. They are both in APC and PDP |
Good one from the Catholic. Anglican, Baptist, Africa, Methodist and orthodox churches will soon follow suit |
If una like release him and if una no like keep am there. I won't allow these politicians mess with my sanity with their chess game |
...and he should be made to rebuild what he destroyed with his personal money. Some moment of indiscretion could make a man lose goodwill. |
Nothing should be overlooked in the quest to finding solution to this virus. Prof Maurice Iwu and others claiming to have the antidote locally and be invited and their drugs examined too for fairness. This is the time when ivory towers should be taking the lead in the research towards finding the cure for this virus but no our lecturers are on strike. Let me hear 'greatest by far...' 'Oba awon university' e.t.c again |
maimalari:Why didn't he listen to the MD clearly before hurriedly pronouncing him guilty and sent to the quarantine. |
Then Nigeria Government and indeed Africa should return the favor |
He should approach the court. Justice may be delayed but will still come. |
Is it by force to declare Kogi Covid-19 active state? The virus is like pregnancy that can't be hidden for long before it is revealed. |
Other kind hearted Nigerians, Ex and current football stars and organizations can add to it. |
I do not know how anyone will justify demolision of buildings because of mere violation of lockdown order. It's high handedness and perhaps a move to settle political scores. Seal off the building, arrest and prosecute the offenders like Lagos is doing. Isn't that sane enough? How can a man arrogate the power of the prosecutor, the judge and the executioner to himself? |
Prophet and pastor are two titles that have been bastardized |
Anyone who wilfully disobey the directive of a government has sent invitation to be ridiculed. However Wike should thread carefully so as not to make unnecessary enemies |
God rest his soul and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss. |
They better be ready to feed their parents, siblings, neighbors and the area boys alongside the audio school children. I repeat . The NASS and other well meaning Nigerians should prevail on this government from embarking on this blatant waste of scarce resources. |
Racoon:I recall that someone submitted a petition against the bullion van saga. What has come out of it? With the turn of events in Kalu's case , I doubt if the commission will ever secure any high profile conviction again. |
Why are people in a hurry to blame corona virus for any death lately? The woman could have died of any other ailment. May God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. |
With a death of about 1500 in a day in US, it must have been a very tough decision for them. The irony is that even with the current situation of things in the US, some people wouldn't even blink twice before jumping on the next available flight should they have the opportunity. |
SERAP be asking for impossibilities. The NASS should once be bold and stop this opaque and corruption ridden feeding programme. |
With this development, no big corruption case will ever be concluded again. |
