All state Governors and everyone who attended the last FEC meeting should be on isolation.
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: Task Force Visits Aso Rock, Led By Boss Mustapha by LibertyRep: 4:23pm On Mar 24, 2020
Nothing could be hidden for long.

I wish the infected quick recovery.
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: Abba Kyari To Be Moved To Lagos For Treatment - Sahara Reporters by LibertyRep: 3:07pm On Mar 24, 2020
He probably must have contracted the virus while running errands for the President, poor him.

This life sha. Now they would be forced to use the same hospitals they hitherto treat with disdain and wouldn't even go near for ordinary headache.

Worstill, they would be attended to by the same medical personnels they deemed incompetent .

When this scourge finally subsides, greater lessons must have been learnt and our RULERS must have been humbled.
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: Atiku Abubakar, Dino Melaye Pray For Kyari After Testing Positive by LibertyRep: 1:52pm On Mar 24, 2020
So Abba is truly infected. Damn!
So many other highly placed people might have been infected too.

Anyone that has been in and around the Seat of Power lately should be forced to quarantine and get tested immediately.
Politics › Re: COVID 19: Senate Adjourns For Two Weeks As Reps Suspend Plenary Indefinitely by LibertyRep: 1:20pm On Mar 24, 2020
They should all submit themselves for screening before leaving Abuja.

They should also forfeit this month's jumbo pay so as to assist the government in this period of impending economic hardship.
Politics › Re: COVID-19: Buhari Tests Negative, Kyari Is Positive by LibertyRep: 10:09am On Mar 24, 2020
There's always some elements of truth in every post from Sahara Reporters.

The Aso Villa should be on lockdown already.

All governors that attended the last FEC should also be on quarantine.

These privileged people should please be patriotic enough to keep the virus within their circle while the rest of us pray for their fast recovery. They always have access to top notch medical facilities even within the country.
Politics › Re: CORONA VIRUS: Gov Ayade Defiles FG, Directs Schools In The State To Continue by LibertyRep: 9:05pm On Mar 23, 2020
The story from Italy is scary. All precautionary measure should be put in place to prevent the spread of this novel virus anywhere in Nigeria.

Mr. Governor may want to have a rethink as he will be solely held responsible should things go South.
Politics › Re: Tanko Muhammad Orders Courts To Close From Tuesday Over COVID-19 by LibertyRep: 8:53pm On Mar 23, 2020
24krests:
Meanwhile in a school in Ibadan

Why on earth do people treat private school teachers like animals?
This should be escalated until it catches the attention of the relevant government agency.

You may want to make a thread about this.
Politics › Re: [leaked Memo]buhari’s Cos,kyari Writes Gbaja Over Lawmk Refus To Be Scrnd by LibertyRep: 9:57am On Mar 23, 2020
Gbaja can't be the Speaker and the President of the Senate simultaneously. Something isn't right about the letter.

Even at that, why didn't the Port Officials restrain the lawmakers from leaving the airport? Is it Gbaja that will now be running after them when he himself was said to be at one Owanbe at Ibadan recently in clear disregard of the social distancing advice.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Blast Buhari For "Kovik One Nine" Blunder by LibertyRep: 9:31am On Mar 23, 2020
Jonathan's supporters shouldn't repay evil with evil. Na beg I dey beg.
Politics › Re: President Buhari Speaks On The Coronavirus Pandemic (video) by LibertyRep: 9:51pm On Mar 22, 2020
He was addressing the Hajj Commission.

That wasn't a National Broadcast.
Politics › Re: (video/pic) Buhari Finally Addresses Nigerians on covid-19 pandemic by LibertyRep: 9:37pm On Mar 22, 2020
Something that he should have done without being 'begged' to do so.

Isn't this better, assuring and presidential than Garba's press releases?

But where is the video?
Politics › Re: SERAP Asks Buhari To Instruct EFCC,ICPC To Track, monitor Spending On Coronavirus by LibertyRep: 11:03am On Mar 22, 2020

LAGBUS and BRT to follow

Not to talk of the rickety, overcrowded Molues.
Politics › Re: Kano Fully Prepared For Coronavirus As Ganduje Inspects World-Class Facility by LibertyRep: 6:28pm On Mar 21, 2020
No need to make mouth yet.

He better pray that the virus never enter his state otherwise this 'world class' facility will be overwhelmed in no time.
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: No Plans To Shut Down Schools, Places Of Worship In Edo- EDSG by LibertyRep: 4:06pm On Mar 21, 2020

A stitch in time saves nine, Mr. Governor
Politics › Re: EXCLUSIVE: Three Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus In Abuja by LibertyRep: 2:11pm On Mar 21, 2020
Now that the worst fear has been confirmed, efforts should be geared towards preventing escalation.

People should know that the available facilities for quarantine ( if any) will be grossly insufficient should this situation gets out of hand.

Worstill, only the rich and connected will even get the attention if the virus spreads.

Let's do our bit to curtail the spread. Social distancing is the way to go.
Politics › Re: Did China Deceive The World: A Conspiracy Theory by LibertyRep: 11:37am On Mar 21, 2020
XANDERBOY85:
Don’t know about ‘deceiving’, but i do know all this rubbish was caused by their weird and insatiable appetite for bats, dogs, snakes, and just about anything with a pulse, therefore the rest of the world needs to demand at least $1 trillion from their huge reserves as restitution for causing this nonsense....and not alerting the rest of the world on time!
If it was later discovered that China played the world for their gains, I concur that the rest of the world should unite in demanding that China be held responsible.
Politics › Re: Lawmaker Defies COVID-19, Organises Party, Gbajabiamila, Olubadan, In Attendance by LibertyRep: 11:34am On Mar 21, 2020
Apparently, laws are meant for the poor.
Politics › Re: Order banning AIT from covering Government activity: DAAR Comms writes Buhari by LibertyRep: 10:27am On Mar 21, 2020
Buhari isn't a private individual.
Aso rock isn't a private estate.
The event isn't a private gathering.

If AIT contravenes any of the broadcasting ethics, the station should be sanctioned as appropriate by the regulatory agencies.

This offensive against any opposition news outlet is outdated. You can't wish away opposition in a democracy, you were once in the opposition, remember?
Politics › Re: Courts Or Pigs' Pen? - Magistrate Courts In Edo State Deserve Attention by LibertyRep: 9:56am On Mar 21, 2020
What are those buckets for? Is the roof also leaking?

There's no point singling out Edo government for tongue lashing, almost all public facilities in the nook and crannies of the country are in this parlous condition.

Go to primary schools even in cities, not to talk of remote areas. Primary health facilities nko?
Let's not talk about roads.

Nigeria leaders from 1999, across all parties, starting from the Councilors to the Presidents deserve special trials.
Travel › Re: Ecuador: Police Block Runway With Cars To Prevent Plane From Landing by LibertyRep: 9:43am On Mar 21, 2020
What if the plane does not have enough fuel to the next available airport?

What if the pilot damn the consequences and crash land?

The plane shouldn't have been allowed to take off in the first instance from wherever it was coming from.
Politics › Re: If Herdsman Had Known That Deltans Were Tough People They Wouldn't Have Attack by LibertyRep: 8:51am On Mar 21, 2020
Could it be that the intention of the writer of this piece is to spite the Deltans?
Health › Re: The U.S. Has The World's Highest Coronavirus Death Rate. by LibertyRep: 8:39am On Mar 21, 2020
If much more advanced countries are recording deaths in droves from this virus, Nigerians should continue to mount maximum pressures on their leaders and cooperate with them to stem the spread of this novel virus in Nigeria.

This isn't no time to be hypocritical, ass-licking and praise singing any non-challant leader.
Health › Re: Pandemonium As Chinese Woman Vomits In Immigration Office by LibertyRep: 8:07am On Mar 21, 2020
The fact that Health workers didn't show up till 5pm should worry everyone.

God forbid that this escalates, Nigeria might be worse hit with this level of unpreparedness exhibited so far.
Politics › Re: ICPC Arrests Okoi Obono-Obla by LibertyRep: 7:35am On Mar 21, 2020
Charge him to court immediately.

We don't want media trial.
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: Why Buhari Won’t Address Nigerians -by Farooq A. Kperogi, Ph.d. by LibertyRep:
I've heard and read many ridiculous excuses in defence of Mr. President's inability to address the nation at this critical time.

He shouldn't bother with the address anymore, Nigerians have moved on.
Politics › Re: Buhari: Protecting Nigerians From Covid-19 Is Priority For Us Now by LibertyRep: 9:33pm On Mar 20, 2020
If the Convid-19 rages further, 2020 Hajj will probably not hold.

Garba should know that sane Nigerians will
never equate his numerous press releases with the words from the mouth of the President.

Nigerians want their president to address them and give them hope as the panic mode is being activated. Is that too much to ask?
Politics › Re: Why Are More Igbo Making It US Military Than Yoruba And Hausa/fulani Altogether by LibertyRep: 8:42pm On Mar 20, 2020
Should there be a reason for America to nuke Nigeria, and the decision is for this man above to make, trust me, he might not think twice before pressing the button.

The bottom line is, the Colonel above sees himself as an American now.
