Politics › Re: As Atiku, Secondus Take Over PDP Machinery, Wike Struggles To Join APC by LibertyRep: 2:31pm On Mar 01, 2020
Isn't Secondus Wike's man again?

Even though Politicians are capable of anything, I sincerely doubt Wike will leave PDP for APC. He'll rather join APGA
Politics › Re: Governor Diri Donates N40m Supreme Court Awarded Him To Church, Warns APC by LibertyRep:
Well, it is his money and he is at liberty to spend it as he wishes.
What if his deputy wishes to use his money for something else?

I would have used the money for something different though.
Health › Re: Coronavirus: Pharmacy Accused Of Selling A Bottle Of Hand Sanitizer For N19,950 by LibertyRep: 1:45pm On Mar 01, 2020
What was the price of the item prior to the outbreak of Convid 9? If the price has been hiked just recently, then it isn't a business opportunity but pure greed and being unpatriotic.

Concerned authorities should look into this.
Politics › Re: FG Sets To Suspend N-power, School Feeding And Other Social Investment Programme by LibertyRep: 5:48pm On Feb 28, 2020
The N-Power programme was not meant to be indefinite anyways.
The government should have prepared a well structured disengagement plan for the volunteers.

As for the school feeding programme, it was more of a conduit scheme designed for boys to chop from the National Cake.
Politics › Re: A'ibom Elders Ask NASS To Call Buhari To Order by LibertyRep: 4:12pm On Feb 28, 2020

Politics › Re: Breaking:Court Declares Impeachment Of Kogi Ex-deputy Governor Achuba Illegal by LibertyRep: 3:17pm On Feb 27, 2020
To what ends? They knew he will get judgement but it will be too late.
The perpetrators of the illegal impeachment knew that they were running foul of the law but persisted because the are confident nothing would happen to them.

The judge should have outlined serious punishment for those involved in the recklessness to serve as deterrent to others.

Mark it, before 2023, some other deputy governors will be illegally impeached.

Politics › Re: ‘Repentant’ Boko Haram Members Arrive Maiduguri From Niger In Military Aircraft by LibertyRep: 9:14pm On Feb 26, 2020
Why are these people getting treated as if they've won laurels for the country.

They should have been made to trek from Niger to Maiduguri.

Who will feed and rehabilitate the children and relatives of both their civilian and military victims?
Politics › Re: Photo Of Repentant Bokoharam And Their Victims by LibertyRep: 5:45pm On Feb 26, 2020
It was reported yesterday that the government of Chad Republic executed 10 of the condemned Boko Haram members.

Isn't that a thing for Nigeria to learn from?
Politics › Re: [BREAKING] Bayelsa: Supreme Court Upholds Judgement Sacking Apc’s David Lyon by LibertyRep: 12:56pm On Feb 26, 2020
End of the road. Lyon should start strategising for 2024 with an untainted deputy, since his people really love him.

As for Imo, PDP may as well kiss it goodbye.

Sadly they can just fume and that's where it ends. Otherwise they should match their anger with actions.

The next moment they get invited to the famous rock for meeting, the story changes.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Chad Executes 10 Boko Haram Fighters Over Deadly Attacks by LibertyRep: 9:10pm On Feb 25, 2020
This is why the purported rehabilitation, compensation and eventual setting free of the arrested Boko Haram members by the Nigeria Government defies all logic.

Politics › Re: What Bagudu’s $110m Largesse Can Do For Nigeria by LibertyRep: 9:55pm On Feb 23, 2020
Court documents seen by TheCable show that the planned payment is a product of a 2018 agreement between Bagudu and the federal government.
.

This narrative is different from what we heard yesterday.
They said it was OBJ's government that entered into the agreement with Bagudu. How come we're seeing 2018 above.

Regardless, a corruption fighting government shouldn't be seen hobnobbing with a character like Bagudu with his antecedent.

Politics › Re: Military Confirms Death Of One Soldier After An Open Gun Battle With Boko Haram by LibertyRep: 8:25pm On Feb 23, 2020
I have immense respect to these military men who still have the courage to fight the Boko Haram knowing that any of the captured terrorists could still be rehabilitated and set free even after causing so much carnage.

God rest the souls of the brave, patriotic but fallen soldiers.
Politics › Re: Bala Mohammed Awards ₦3.6 Billion Contract To His Own Company by LibertyRep: 11:33am On Feb 23, 2020
Nothing surprises me anymore about Nigerian politicians. They are capable of anything.

As long as the Bauchi people and their State Assembly are cool with it, there may be little or nothing we can do about it when except make some noise online for a few days until it is overtaken by events.

Do they operate Shari'a in that state?

Soon all major roads will be tolled in the South West.
But before you commercialize the roads, ensure that alternative roads are provided for those who wouldn't want to be fleeced.
