That was a speech laddened with hate - Lai Ayo Adebanjo is the mouthpiece of the disgruntled opposition - Femi Adebanjo's bitterness was due to the revocation of his oil block licence - Shehu Pa Adebanjo hasn't said anything new. |
Who replaces him if forced out? Who? Oshiomole is still on that seat because the presidency still wants him. The day PMB ( or his handlers) got tired Oshiomole, he leaves. |
It's obvious that after PMB's tenure, someone may have to run to exile |
Hand of Esau, voice of Jacob. Who does not know who is pulling the string. |
What difference will it make? |
Some emergency millionaires are to be made soon. The Keke and Okada ban didn't just happen. It's all for a reason. |
Why not name and shame the gun - pulling General? |
The President is surprised. |
Who owns and built the parks? Has the government told them not to go about their regular and normal business of conveying passengers? |
Didn't their governor negotiated with these bandits sometimes ago? Could it be other factions? Or are they Oliver Twists? |
A review or an appeal? No arm-twisting of the Supreme Court. |
The president appears not to be in charge or aware of so many things around him, so much that those around him take advantage of the unfortunate situation. Would the NSA and Chief of staff be fighting publicly if their boss is in firm control? |
Hell no! Not again. How many foreign leaders have come vacating in Nigeria? |
What a waste! How can such an edifice be left to rot away? Thanks OP for bringing this to the public. |
SERAP and the unending ultimatums. Someone said Abacha helped saved for the dry season. How thoughtful of him! Unfortunately, the recovered loot is becoming audio |
From the look of things, the request for review will most likely be thrown out on technicalities instead of it's merit. |
If care is not taken, the Supreme Court may not be the final arbiter any longer. With this trend, so many other cases will be 'exhumed' for review and the drama will be unending. Maybe we should go back to the time when cases are settled by the Council of Elders under the Acacia tree, in the evening, at the market square. |
Don't tell me this isn't a joke. The young lady should not allow the disputed winner access to the honey pot yet until the case is decided and reviewed by the elders of their town. |
Tuesday is almost here and all these permutations and combinations will come to a stop. |
Never heard of the company before. 50 air buses at a time is huge. Hope he isn't a front for some dirty, money -laundering policians. Congratulations to him and his company nonetheless. |
Good luck to the parties involved. Lyon too shouldn't waste more time once he recovers from the shock. Reviewing the judgement is one thing, admitting errors is another entirely. If the same set of judges who delivers the judgement are to review it, Ihedioha's chances are slim. |
But the ruling on Osun, Imo and Kano were just and acceptable abi? All of them are same. When they win the SC is the best thing but if it goes against them, then the SC is evil. |
No one deserves the humiliation, shock and embarrassment Lyon is to be subjected to for no fault of his. I pity him. As for Oshiomole, he himself knew he was bluffing. |
Shouldn't the deputy alone who forged his certificate be sacked? What manner of screening was done by the party and this same INEC to confirm the authenticity or otherwise of aspirant's certificates? |
Ok |
This case will likely die a natural death on or before 2023. |
Some things are just unbelievable. Aside from proven cases of massive rigging and electoral violence, electoral victories shouldn't be easily upturned. At this rate, politicians may now be saving for court cases instead of aggressive campaign for votes. What's the point of the people voting a candidate of their choice when the Supreme Court can upturn it and give the seat to another person? Dickson wins this and the Jonathans may be in for it. |
This is the way to go. The process of requirement should be well scrutinized and managed to avoid bad eggs that will bring the outfit to disrepute. Anyone or group who is dissatisfied with a region's effort in securing the inhabitants should be ready to face the collective wrath of the good people of the region. |
May Allah forgive his misdeeds. I want to be remembered too as 'Olowo tin fowo saanu' Lesson to the rich: touch lives, bless lives with what you have been blessed with. |
Way to go. |
Stalwert:How am I supposed to know he has acquired assets he ordinarily shouldn't when I have no knowledge of his declared assets and he has not made it public. I hope you also know that those that invoked the FOI act to compel the CCB to have access to his declared assets met a wall ad they were referred back to the president. Will it not be a plus for his acclaimed integrity if openly declare his assets without being dragged to do so ? |
If I were the president, and to show that I'm not corrupt like those I accuse and hound, I'll publicly declare my assests even though no law requires me to do so. Would he be breaking any law of he chose to declare it publicly? |
