dj187:All lies, let them substantiate the allegation of defection. They are preparing the way to justify why APC should win the forth coming run-off election. APC is equivalent of lie, no passing day without one lie or propaganda to keep the gullible Nigerians busy, arguing and talking. APC will never focus on the real issues. At times, you wonder if the PDP is still the party in power? They talk as if they are the opposition, never taking responsibility but blaming everyone but themselves for the problems in the country. Ask about the promises they made during the elections, they will remind you that no administration has ever fulfilled their campaign promises and they are only hindered in their delivery due to damage to the economy by the previous govt. Empty, absolutely empty! having nothing to offer but lies and propaganda. |
sdindan:It's so painful, when you have insulted the former office holder calling him all sorts of names and promising Nigerians that you are coming to deliver them from your self-created doom. Now, you are in power, you lose steam and keep blaming everybody but yourself. The nation today is worse off than you met it rather then admit your failings you are busy dealing with perceived enemy who are bold enough to look you in the face and speak the truth. Now, the world is laughing at us wondering how in the hell in the 21st century we elected a dictator to power. Today, majority of Nigerians are suffering like never before, freedom to speak freely is being restricted, people are harassed and intimated when perceived as opposition. Just in 2014, Nigerians took all this for granted and call the man who gave them all these liberty as clueless and incompetence. I believe now, the mean of these words are coming home. So sad!!! |
coolzeal:My brother, shame dey even catch me and worse still are the numerous Zombies that cut across all strata of the society that defend the mess of this administration despite the obvious lapses. The foundation of APC was built on lies and propaganda, such foundation never last but will consume the initiators, collaborators, the gullible and the bystanders. So Sad that people failed to see the genuine efforts of the last administration to salvage Nigeria from the hands of this very monsters who held our development backward for so many years and treating the country and it's people as conquered rather then equal partners in the Nigeria's project. Look at the various lapses of this administration, from the unstable policy on foreign exchange to no economics or fiscal direction of this administration to the directionless budget that will spell disaster for this Nation if implemented as is. So sad, we found ourselves in this mess. Let just continue to pray that we survive this mess called APC in one piece. |
babyfaceafrica:Have any allegation been proven against her? you don't insult your best, in other clime she will be adored and important national monuments named after her. It's sad that we are too blinded by hate and fear that we failed to recognize the good in ourselves and others. If she were an American or white lady, not only will her country celebrate her but the world will be at her feet. Trust Nigerians, they will insult and call their best all manners of derogatory names while the world acknowledges and celebrate them. Tell me why won't the rest of the world see us as salvage people deserving of no mercy or kindness because our suffering is self-inflicted. |
Episteme2:It couldn't have been said any better. Aptly described. |
alienvirus:APC has successfully created zombies. They will never use their brain but like towncriers of the old, keep shouting the words handed to them by their masters. No need to think, just say, sai baba...sai baba..sai baba and sai baba if you see baba picture anywhere just keep shouting it sai baba...sai baba. What's in the picture that is special? All leaders around the world attend conferences and this is not different. What should be your concern is the impact of his attending this conference to Nigeria; has he struck new deals that will result in billions of investments in the oil and gas sector; are we building new alliances or the resolution of the conference will help to shore up oil prices. This is what's expected of a conscious and educated nigerians not to be hailing without reason. The elections are over and everyone must come together for Nigeria to succeed. Let forget APC and PDP now and work for Nigeria with Buhari leading. |
arresa:Nothing else but GEJ!!! Attack the issues, Gej.... Like your master, no light, blame gej, drop in oil price gej, laasa Fever blame gej and yet blind followers like you refused to see anything wrong. is leadership now a blame game? Not about taking charge and responsibility. I honestly don't have the time for empty people like you...... I can certainly predict your next post, it's either you insult me or gej as usual. Never bothered to research on your own to dig up facts on your country rather you wait on social media for your facts and spread misinformation and abuse those that do not agree with your views...if they were ever yours. So immature, you need to grow up and change your attitude. |
arresa:Great mind discuss issues while fiddle minds discuss people. I hope you could at least discuss intelligently but unfortunately, I overrated you. Jonathan is history as it concern being president and get that to you block head by facing reality. Nothing can change history because it's is the past and will remain there. You obviously in your warped mind is the reflection of the good in Nigeria; no wonder Nigeria is the way it's today. I feel pity for you. You need education and the earlier your realized this.... The better for your generation. Keep shouting and blaming Jonathan, that will surely bring jobs, electricity and return dollar to N1. |
arresa:I go with my convictions not the crowd and that's why till date I still stand with him. I don't jump at people but I take my time to observe. No man is complete or infallible including yourself and Gej remains a human like all of us! Your hero once told us that Abacha wasn't corrupt, I guess you know the truth now. Let him live by his campaign promises and not use the fight against corruption as the only important mission for his govt. Nigeria is bleeding! |
Coolcash1:When you realized your emptiness you then use words to cause provocation to avoid discussing the real issues. I won't condescence to your low level and rather advise you never to reduce discussions to personal attacks. I remain who I'm not minding your comment. Never was and never will I be a bastard but a true son of my father and country. I speak the truth and if you have contrary views, feel free to express them politely. I can't be carried away by sensationalism. I'm enlighten and educated enough to know the different between falsehood being spread around and reality. |
LRNZH:My friend, you are the one that needs to re-examine yourself. This is the most unfocused and vision-less govt in the history of Nigeria. Playing on the ignorance of Nigerians, they feed us with sensational news filled with lies and made up stories because they know that is what appeal to our fancy. Every Nigerian wants to believe that the reason for his/her suffering is their neighbor; never in themselves. Yes, we have not had the best of leadership but the current administration is nothing better than the rest if not worse. The govt is not from the moon but Nigerians. If we continue hailing this govt and not holding them accountable on their promises to us during the election then we are in for a disaster. May the good Lord have mercy on us all. |
One4me:No need arguing with you. What's the link btw your response and my comment. Absolutely nothing! Empty head, no wonder you were easily fooled by a party of liars that offers nothing else than lies and propaganda; you pray for this to continue for the next 7yrs. I sure you no go school and if u go Na waste of valuable resources your parents for use for better things. Dullard!!! |
MisterGrace:You know an APC apologist when you see or hear one of them. Thinking is very hard work for them. It's incredible to hear you talk about continuity from a government you labelled incompetent, clueless, corrupt , ineptitude and other uncharitable and unprintable words. What good existed in a govenment that did nothing in their six years that you wish to continue with or APC refused to tell us something that we don't know about in the previous government. As they say 'all lies come with their expiry dates'. |
omolola15:Why not wait to hear the other side of the story. Allow those who have been accused the opportunity to have their say. I can't support looting but I will not also stand by for selective prosecution. Both are corrupt acts and you can not condemn one and praise the other. That's sheer hypocrisy and no descent human being should tolerate it. What's bad is bad and selecting who to charge for corruption why ignoring glaring cases of corruption is same as corruption. I leave you to your conscience. I don't support any corrupt act but let everyone be treated according to the law. That's all!!!! |
Mrlekan07034617:**** Buhari is part of those who destroyed this country and he can't be exonerated from the current problem but fools like you know next to nothing but listen as usual to the false claims of the APC media outfits. I pity you. Let the fight against corruption be holistic not for perceived enemies or settle cheap political scores. Please take them to court if there are concrete evidence against them and stop the media prosecution. |
timunstopable:**** The gullible ones, who refused to use the grey matter between their two ears. Tell me, who be the Heads of states or presidents way never steal? Open your eyes and read the history of this country; is this man Buhari doing anything different from what he did in 1983. How can you be helped when you close your ears to good reasoning. Ameachi and Fashola are saints that never stole a kobo or Buhari election was financed by the sales of his cattles. Common sense is lost to most of you and you want to see progress. **** The economy needs urgent attention and all you hear from you fake change govt is korruption and people are losing their jobs daily, businesses are folding up because they don't have access to forex, students abroad are stranded and you are here joining him to shout corruption and celebrating his failures rather then reminding him the reasons why he was elected that corruption obviously is not the only sickness affecting Nigeria. You may not know because people like you don't read, when Obama took over, the America economy was heading toward a serious recession. I didn't remember him crying to the American people that he is helpless that the previous govt has destroyed the country but rather he inspired hope in his people and set out a blue print to bail the country out of its economy woes. The rest today is history but America is better for it and the economy has rebound. That's what a true leader does, not your Baba Bubu that looks for who to blame for every failing. Continue with your praise singing, the time will come whne you will have to wail more than the wailers. Rubbish!!!! |
madridguy:APC media outfit, the damage they have causing to pyche of the national is inquantifiable. Deliberate misinforming the public for the sake of political exigencies of their paymasters. Journalism is known as the watch dog, who are met to keep elected official on their toes but what happens if the same watch dog connive with the politicians for their selfish aim then the Nation is doomed. That's the scenario in Nigeria today. We have moved beyond the level of junk journalism to pure falsehood, deliberate lies and propaganda. When you see a news caption, you first need to ask which polictical leaning is the media outfit. Shame on all those who brought this profession to this miserable state; there reward shall await them in multiple folds. Today, it's simply, belly journalism. Who pays more, where do I get my monthly take home or who gives the bigger brown envelop. The fight is for all of us to restore the lost dignity of the journalism profession and the few upright journalists who haven't sold their conscience for a plate of porridge should take the front row in this fight and rescue the profession from the grips of the greedy politicians. Look at the media war on Corruption. Rather than take the accused to the court, sensitive information are released to selected media outfits tagged confessions from the accused and publised by the media houses without any statement from the accused or his legal representatives. This is sad and all men of good faith must rise to condemn this dastardly act to destroy this nation. |
Lexusgs430:Na stupid Aboki, APC agent! |
Sweetguy25:Please tell them. The APC agent in PDP has reared its ugly head; we know their antics when we see one. Don't be deceived, he is an agent of the APC. This is the reason why Metuh had to be locked up for the agent to say rubbish to further divide and destroy PDP. We already recognise their agent and their evil intention but God pass them. They will continue to fail because their foundation is faulty. APC is evil in its entirety, nothing good can come from such evil mindset and their evil plans shall consumed them all. You desperately wanted power and you did everything conceivable to destroy the reputation of a man; you lied again him, yet he kept quiet, you abused him, called him unprintable names, yet he remained silent, you took glory for his hardwork, yet he said nothing; you attributed everything wrong in Nigeria to him, yet he looked the other way despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. With all the powers at his disposal you out rigged him and won a flawed election in every respect, yet he congratulated you. What else do you want from this man? The Lord God will always protect and defense the righteous. We are watching!!!!! |
kokoA:I don't think a human in his right senses just made this comment. When we say APC supporters are goat that can't think, they will abuse us; how in the world will someone make this kind of foolish statement. Is it a must for you say something, have you not heard that silent is golden. I forget, the man no go school. it's not in the numbers of local government areas but in their quality. In terms of oil production, Bayelsa should be among the first four states in Nigeria and what that tell you that the revenue shared on a monthly basis a significant portion comes from that state. |
Rainmaker2016:Be patient to hear his own side of the story. Don't be in a hurry to convict him until you hear him. This accusation is too one sided. |
jmaine:The accused is never given the opportunity to state their side of the story. Only a one sided approach by the EFCC. EFCC is the accuser, speaks on behalf of the accused, pronounced the accused guilty, release evidence and investigative information to the press to malign the accused. This is most unprofessional. The judiciary is put in a very tight corner due to public perception to convict the accused even if the evidence provided doesn't support the conviction. Media trial is what they have been doing; if they have solid evidence to convict let the EFCC take them to court. Where the accused and the accuser are given ample opportunity to state their own side of the case. The lopsidedness by the EFCC is wrong and not done in the best interest of the country but purely for cheap political gains and vendetta. |
todayboy:This is so sad. Buhari doesn't understand what it means to be President in a democracy. In just seven months, he has destroyed almost all the gains of sixteen uninterrupted democratic rule. Shame to everyone that brought the monster on us in the name of change. This is not democracy but anarchy in a banana republic. Nigeria is degenerating and retrogressing in a govt that promised a new beginning for Nigerians. I hope we learn from this ugly incidents and ensure that we never fall prey to highway hangers, desperate politicians, who promised one thing and offer the exact opposite. For those still supporting this lawlessness, remember what goes around comes around. Evil men strive when good men are silent. We are not moving forward but backward at an alarming rate; we all need to come together in unison to condemn was is obviously wrong. If Nigeria fails, it's not just APC and PDP that will suffer it but everyone. |
searchiing4love:You forgot to include, Ameachi, Fashola, Tinubu, Obasanjo, Kwakwaso and so on that also ate our yam. |
pheliciti:No use exchanging further post with you. Am done |
midassultan:Please did you read and digest the post. What is so hard to digest? Simple logic, put yourself in banks shoes after wining an award your best friend get on stage to tell the world that someone else is more deserving of the award without mentioning your name. I bet you will clap for that fellow and go home happy. Why is thinking so hard for this generation; must we allow emotion to becloud our judgement and good reasoning. I think the writer has done justice to the case and the case to me is close. Olumide started it. |
pheliciti:A very nice write up but we still remain at the same spot. Our Lord Jesus Christ knew this error of judgement that was why He admonished us never to judge anyone and went further to state that the same standard will apply to others shall be apply to us. The big question is by what standard are you judging the previous administration? In all fariness, if given the same circumstance will you agree that that same standard be applied to you? We react to issues based on the level of information available to us and our own perception which may atimes be inaccurate or insufficient. In my comment, I limited myself to facts and statements that are verifiable. You talked about power, roads, traffic gridlock in Apapa, just to highlight the major ones that if the previous administration has done anything you will have noticed, thus, your not noticing means that nothing was done. Nothing is more subjective than this but let put the facts on the table and I need you to cross check and disapprove with facts: 1. GEJ administration build more power plants than any other govt in the history of this country. Investment in that sector was equally massive. The improvement in power today is solely the effort of previous administration. 2. We have more motorable roads in GEJ administration than any other administration. 3. The Apapa gridlock is hydra-headed and not the makiing of GEJ but failure due to lack of planning. Find out the road was reconstructed during GEJ tenure but obviously that won't solve the problem which is the congestion of the port and the over centralisation of port activiies to Lagos alone. Please find out the reason for the gridlock? Let me state GEJ will also share part of the blame. 4. On the railway, it's sad that you failed to appreciate the tireless effort to reactivate our railway system and add new standard guage tracks and build the Abuja metroline. Please, tell us which administration has done this much for our railway? Don't forget, GEJ met the railway infrastructure in a comatose state, i.e. dead. If other administrations have done this much, the whole of Nigeria would have been connected by rail tracks. 5. Do you want me to talk about Agriculture or the electoral reforms and the improvement in that system or the reviving of the dead automobile industry in Nigeria - today we have more than 12 companies manufacturing various types of automobiles or you want to hear about how he revived the dead oversee scholarship scheme that was designed to provide high skilled Nigerians to pilot the affair of this Nation in the future or the entreprenuer schemes of Youwin, agroprenuer, etc that empowered various youths across the country. So much for a man that was alleged that did nothing. God is indeed watching. For you, you need to refute this claims with facts and figures. I take you again to the bible, it's not by error that it was stated that you test all spirits in your quest for righteousness and truth. Truth will not fall on your laps because you desire it but you must seek for it and make conscious effort to attain it with all the resources at your disposal. Judge everyone rightly based on facts not hearsay and if in doubt please keep your opinion to yourself. May God help us all. |
pheliciti:Anything under the sun can be alleged and doesn't make it true either. I strongly believe like the popular saying goes when you want to hide something from a black man just put it in a book. If this is your deduction after reading this post then it's either you are completely blinded by prejudices or you never read it or you find it very difficult to understand the write up.you must learn to separate facts from friction. APC is a party of contradiction and it beat me silly when they remain the source of authentic information for some Nigerians. The following from APC: 1. Jonathan spent six years in power. Same APC in different fora he spent 5years. 2. Jonathan did nothing in office for five years. Same APC, lots of roads constructed and many in different stages of completion (Fashola). I never knew trains were working in Nigeria (Ameachi). so many ongoing projects in the transmission sector and some are almost completed while others are in varying degrees of completion (Fashola). I met empty treasury 3. Subsidy is a scam and fraud. Same APC now in govt, paying half a trillion in subsidy. 4. The presidential fleet is too large, we will sell off most of the aircraft and leave just two. Same APC, using the same numbers of aircraft with a higher maintenance cost. I can go on and on but the point is this cross check whatever information you get and never spread such until you get the facts. |
golor:When you are ignorant, it always shows in your attack on personalities and never the issues. You may have witnessed the last administration but your comment reflects your total loss of touch in the actual happening during his regime. What then will you tell future generation when they ask about Jonathan's rule; empty phases with lies and propaganda fed you by his adversaries and you expect your adversaries to say nice things about you. My brother wake up from your delusion and awake to reality. Those who accused Jonathan today are worse offended of the same crime |
Horlufemi:Take him to trail before judging him. He has a right to fair hearing. Whatever is being alleged remain what they are accusations until proven in a law court. Media trail is wrong because the accused is convicted even before the trail. |
madridguy:I laugh in Spanish! Let be careful what will permit on the basis of necessity it may surely come back to hunt us. Power corrupt and absolute power corrupt absolutely! The need for separation of powers and independent of the three arms of govt is to check abuse and anyone supporting the President really need to seek guidance in history. |
