I don't know the price of rice in Benin republic currently but I believe it will be cheaper than ours here simply because Benin republic import most of their rice to route it to Nigeria (Infact that's how foreign rice get into the country illegally)

Thailand where they import most of these rice from has a comparative and production advantage over us. What it will take Thailand to produce a process and produce a bag of rice is not the same thing when you compare it to their Nigerian counterpact.

The local rice industry cannot compete with Thailand as their cost of production are both different. Opening up the border and allowing importation of rice once again will just surely kill off the local industry and whatever investment done and gains we have recorded in the past years will be eroded.

Things are way cheaper in Nigeria before now…

Let me start by sharing an experience by my brothers wife.

A cousin of hers was give poison to eat. He fell sick and was dying by the day. They took him to various prayer houses for solution but to no avail. The situation was getting worse. He was quickly transiting ton the world beyond.
When the news got home of the boy dying as a result of him eating poison here in lagos. The parents quickly ordered he be sent home for immediate solution.
He was taken back home to nsukka alumona to be precise.
Arrangement was made for him to be taken to Enugu ezike for possible solution. He was taken to the house of an atr practitioner.
After accessing the situation the atr practitioner said he would make him vomit the poison and then send it back to the person who poisoned him.
They agreed and within minutes the cousin vomited the poison and was totally restored.

As I have said b4 and I will keep saying that; The difference between the wealthy and we commoners is our mentality!

Who truly know me must know how I hate the word POLITICS not to talk of indulging in it. The ONLY reason why majority of us commoners will never get close to our dream is because; WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO CONNECT OR NETWORK!

By the grace of God and through the help of a good pal., I have been able to get close to a lot of politicians; Mostly in my State. One thing I like about my current boss is that; He will always advise people; NEVER TO QUARREL OR FIGHT because OF ANY POLITICIAN. Reasons becos; THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT U BUT THEIR AMBITION!.

The current NDDC Chairman is a man I know and have seen severally. He is a very close friend of my Landlord same as the out going DESOPADEC chairman. Shockingly, the current NDDC Chairman is a close pal to James Ibori and I believe the later influenced his appointment.

I know several S.A's and S.S.A's to Governor's and I know how they networked to get there.

As I have said severally; NIGERIA is a very complex place. Reasons mostly becos of the diverse cultural background.

Yoruba's,Igbo's , Hausa's and the other minorities are ALL fighting a different course and will do everything possible to outshine each other. This behaviour is the sole reason why it is impossible for Nigeria to come together with a single aim.

While the Elites are joining their minority force to seize and control Us; The majority are busy fighting themselves, VERY SHAMEFUL.

It burdens me to know that,, same class ruling us for ages are busy recycling themselves or networking their cronies to continue from where they stopped, while the populace are busy killing themselves. VERY SHAMEFUL!.

It takes a very rare and Strong Grace of God to rise from NOTHING 2 SOMETHING in this country without a STRONG CONNECTION / NETWORKING.

The ONLY reason why the masses won't go far is that; WE KILL OR BRING DOWN OURSELVES JUST TO RAISE OUR OPPRESSORS WHO ARE BUSY PLAYING ON OUR INTELLIGENCE RAISING THEMSELVES AND THEIR CRONIES.

Politics is a game and in Every game; u MUST learn and perfect the rules of the game.

I don't like nor support ANY Politician but;
I took more than 5hrs till dawn to study the previous elections few months ago and I MUST sincerely say that, the bitter truth is;
PRESIDENT TINUBU IS A GURU WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS!.. Any unbiased human ought to know this.
