Look, I'm just being realistic here. What you wrote up there is an ideal situation in an ideal marriage but we all know that no marriage is ideal/perfect because it comes with ups and downs.

In Nigeria, most married women don't get the respect they deserve from their husbands or husband's family unless she gives the man a child (which is the number one reason most people marry around here anyway)

If she's no longer interested in the marriage and have made up her mind, then she should file for a divorce. Since she doesn't have kids yet, she could be "lucky" to marry again (i.e if she's still interested in marriage)

But in all honesty, she should weigh in a lot of options... If she's 27 without a child, she should understand that time is not her friend and it could be a contributing factor to her husband's cheating ways (especially in this part of the world where child bearing is the priority and in this age where early menopause is now a thing)

This lockdown. If I could rewrite events that preceded this lockdown, I would have done that.

The problem is the economy. Many Nigerians are low income earners who cannot afford their basic needs.

If government creates favourable laws and policies which improve the economy, the citizens will establish organizations and industries that will employ the low income earners and increase the standard of living.

By this, the government doesn't necessarily need to create direct jobs.

I don't encourage jungle justice. I'm only giving logical rationale behind such gruesome act. If the police and judiciary are transparent, jungle justice would reduce tremendously. People will stop taking laws into their hands. All social ills witnessed in a country usually boils down to the lackadaisical attitudes of the administrators of that country.

Jungle justice still prevails in Nigeria (so called giant of Africa) because the people have lost hope in the credibility and honesty of the judiciary and the Nigeria Police.

A criminal would be caught and handed over to the police only to reappear in the society after settling the "gallant" officers and cause even more mayhem.

No but it purges one of illiteracy. Just take a look at the behaviours and reasoning of most people up North, it's mainly due to illiteracy and ignorance abundant there.

One of the major problems of the force is crass illiteracy. They don't understand their job roles. If NCE is the minimum qualification, you will see significant improvement in their job roles and performance.
