I stopped banking with all this cockroach banks since 2022, one useless micro finance bank that call themselves rain for hervest really do me shege back then, I lost 250k and one of my friend lost almost 500k, up till today nobody knows the whereabout of the bank owner, we have accepted our lost and moved on. The only bank am using presently is first bank and I will never make mistake of having more than 100k in my bank account, even if I have 200 million naira today, I will use it to buy goods for hoarding purpose, banks can not be using my money for business and be debiting any time they like.

That money you don't want to pay banks,hope you know you need to pay insurance for your type of business to avoid pain

No one is disputing that..... would you rather they weren't paid well than the increment they got.....it's justified at least one of the major reasons for corruption is poor renumeration.....and govt has tried to improve their welfare which to me is highly welcomed......if 10 judges were susceptible before now at least that number could reduce to 6 with this gesture.

Tinubu have succeeded in killing the economy. Whoever that believe he'll turn some magic wand to revive the economy must get his brain examined.

Subsidy removal isn't the major reason for the inflation we are all facing right now..... transportation cost across board only averaged about 50% increments above board and diesel had always been subsidy exempt.

Nigeria is facing acute food shortages due to several factors that subsidy removal isn't a direct cause.....we are still not addressing the real problem of food insecurity. Due to lack of adequate investment in agriculture over decades,herder farmer crises, unmitigated rural urban migration,lack of development and industrialisation in in the agric sector etc.....this are the real problems....we can't feed ourselves that's purely the problem and it's so sad that this govt isn't doing enough or anything at all to stem the tide of hunger in the land.....it will only get worse.

It was Christianity that banned slavery from the globe NOT atheism, not your forefathers' religion, not the other religions - It was Christianity. If not for Christianity, you would likely be slaving away in a slave farm - being a slave to your fellow black won't offer any comfort.
The world was already a mess when the nation of Israel was formed. The Israelites themselves were slaves and God redeemed them from slavery. God explicitly forbade the Israelites from kidnapping people and selling them as slaves. The typical 'slave' you see in the Bible are just indentured servants (typical of what pertains to master-apprentice relationship here in Nigeria). For instance, Jacob serves his uncle Laban as slaves for years and expected payment in return.
The slavery that God was regulating in the Bible was nothing but indentured servitude - one party consenting to serve the other for number of time to do things like paying off debts, getting money to establish business etc. And God places a maximum number of years on this servitude - 7 years unless the slave wanted to renew the contract.
The only slaves that the Israelites are allowed to buy are foreigners - and there are laws that God made to protect these foreigners until they get integrated into the Jewish community.
Also, we have prisoners of war who are made slaves since Israel has no prison system.

Flash forward to the NT, the scriptures regarded both high and low as the equal before God's eyes. When Onesimus ran away from His master, Philemon, a crime punishable by death according to Roman law, Paul pleaded with Philemon asking him to receive and welcome Onesimus just as he would receive Paul.
In fact, one of the distinguishing feature of Christianity in early Rome was the destruction of the caste system - one of the reasons why the Roman elites are wary of Christianity and tried to persecute it.
Flash forward to about 2 centuries ago, it was Christians who laid down their lives to ensure that slavery was banned from the globe. It was the Christians in the West who started a civil war to ensure that slavery is banned once and for all.
The concept of human rights that people around the world enjoy was built upon the long centuries of Christian civilization - that's the reason why the concept of human rights was enmeshed in countries where Christianity exerts a heavy amount of influence.
Hate Christianity all you want, it's your choice but at least give credit where credit is due. Once again, it was Christianity that banned slavery from the globe NOT atheism, not your forefathers' religion which celebrated slavery. We haven't forgotten yet

Please check the dictionary meaning of the word servant and also slave.....Christianity had very limited bearing on the abolition of slave trade and everyone knows the manifest reason was the adoption of the industrialisation economic model.
