membranus: Your knowledge of the Bible is so minute. If God is not against slavery, then why were the Israelites rescued from their slavish existence in the pharaonic Egypt in the book of Exodus?
Also the mind of GOD is astronomically higher than the mind of a natural man, thus He knows things in an higher realm than man's.
And the encyclopediac vision of GOD is greater than the monopediac vision of man, thus He sees things in a wider realm than man's. His supposed favourite people - the Israelites....why did he command them to plunder and enslave those he helped to conquer......there was no condemnation against slavery but rather a condescending empathy to save his children already in slavery . During Jesus's era, slavery was equally prevalent and their was no such rebuke or comment against it but rather moralising it.....the parable of the servants and their talents readily comes to mind. |

BondRiv: What a shameful act by people who do not make good use of their brains. Uninformed fellows. The Israeli flag says it all. They have put up the European-looking white Jesus. Who told you that was how he looked? An accurate depiction of Jesus could have been put up, with the monoliths still there. Funny the Jews which the flag represents would laugh at their stupidity and their Jesus. |

The tragedy of that historic voyage still haunts the Negro race till this day. For, ever since that voyage, the Evil ship Jesus has continued kidnap and enslave the minds of the Negro race. The reason why Christian ideology is so terrible, even Jesus nor any of the prophets including the entire bible never condemned slavery, not even a single sentence against it. |

I beg to differ on this....let the states fund their students education by providing loans and scholarships......you don't just build schools for building sakes without any idea how to fund them......we know the region with the highest population who don't prioritise education.....you would then see a high population of unqualified students accessing the fund due to their huge population to the detriment of those who actually need it from other regions......let's states fund their institutions. |

In sane climes you’d resign for gross incompetence and malicious damage of not only Landmark, but other investments along that axis that you destroyed… all for nothing. Absolute nothingness.
Water runaway my eyes Criticising just for the fun of it,even Landmark knows his investments there are still intact.....what was removed were cubicles and tents and also ordinary swimming pool......he could have lost far more...... He was clearly pretending How Would you go about it without taking this gradual steps.....do you think you can achieve this by mere presidential fiat? If you sort out the LG autonomy, the state's too can then start agitating for proper restructuring, even if it is what tinubu wants he cannot do it alone without the buy in of give and legislatures across all 36 states of Nigeria |
Politics › Re: FG Sues 36 States At Supreme Court Over Local Government Autonomy by Lithiumite: 10:42am On May 27, 2024 |
DMerciful: All these are pretense. Tinubu the illegitimate president should do proper restructuring if he is serious.
This case is playing to the gallery. BTW, how many local govt areas has he created in SW? He did it while Obj was president. If he was not pretending then, he has the chance now.
Tinubu is a fake man So you think proper restructuring will just fall from the sky onto your laps or you think it can just happen via presidential fiat, perhaps it's either you don't know why restructuring entails or just trying to be sadistic because your obi didn't win. Restructuring is a process and this suit by federal government is a great step towards that same restructuring you just mentioned....let's sort the local govt out first then we move to how states can be confederated too....it's one step at a time |

emkz: Is Kwankwaso saying he was never aware of plans to reinstate the Emir?
It is quite shameful that Lamido Sanusi Lamido and Aminu Ado Bayero are being used as pawns in the tripartite fight of Kwankwaso, Ganduje and Yusuf.
To me, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi ought to have refused to return. He was not a particularly popular Emir and was not initially chosen by the kingmakers.
The person who was initially chosen should be allowed to lead, and that is, Sanusi Ado Bayero.
The glory of the emirate must be restored and traditional systems must be put in place to punish "outsiders" who interfere in traditional institutions. A deranged politician should not just remove, install and manipulate kings like the Kano State Governor did.
One thing is also curious: Tinubu, Atiku and Obi united in one thing: 24 hours on, none of them has congratulated the installed Emir Sanusi II. Do you know how much free money is attached to that thrown...only if you know, you will then understand sanusi's eagerness to return |
