kingblosky: Have you even seen any Rivers youth protesting for Amaechi ?. He is on his own @ d moment and its very clear Rivers people don't like him. He knows this time around; even if he survives this one; he would come out seriously bruised and bloodied. Forget all the nonsense you read in the papers .. Amaechi has used Rivers money to compromise the press; and the National Assembly. Even Channels TV, I am disappionted . We all saw the stupid videos that were shown; they just had to show something and still there was no way they could lie that Ameachi wasn't present. The Press were given monies to edit the videos and remove Amaechi's visual. We all saw how he over saw the beating of lawmakers who had a right to impeach the speaker. Amaechi knew the speaker was to be impeached on that day not by the five as claimed in the press. There were over 18 Law makers present when the impeachment happened but the press ignored all that because Amaechi gave them money. What was his business there ?. If Jonathan rushes down to the Senate to stop the impeachment of Mark; and his ADC beats up Senator Smart Adeyemi ; I wonder ACN's and CPC's reaction. They broke people's head; and still took this same pressmen to the hospital to video and take pictures of them as victims. These daft pressmen followed like mumu. how can five beat up 27 ?. We saw how his ADC was attempting murder and the ACN is on his side? Just see what he wants to be using the police commissioner for . Amaechi is angry with the commissioner not because he is not working but because Mba has decided to be neutral and not playing along with his dictatorial plans. But this same Amaechi has unconstitutionally suspended elected local government chairmen who were also elected like him. If Jonathan removes Amaechi; would it then be justified ?. What is good for the Jew ; is good for Uganda. All frog eyed Tinubu and Aliyu Babangida wants to know is that he is NGF Chairman ( The enemy of my enemy is my friend ). Rotimi; you now belong to ACN; PDP say they don't want you. How can people in Lagos who know nothing about what is happening on ground be more worried and concerned than Rivers people who are saying it serves him right?. You get your info from newspapers and APC conspiracy theorist ;does that not show you d press have been compromised and Amaechi's money in Lai Mohammed's bank account ?. We are on ground and in the politics of Rivers; Amaechi has no political base because of his arrogance and got to this position with Wike's Political machinery. Rivers people are arrogant and no send am and won't follow him. Wike is the Oga on top at the moment and everybody knows that. Amaechi is UNDEMOCRATIC and should be dealt with UNDEMOCRATICALLY. STOP TAKING PANADOL FOR RIVERS PEOPLES HEADACHE AND STOP FORCING AMAECHI ON US. HE IS OYO ( ON YOUR OWN ).Just Shut up man! Nigerians are not stupid. What caused the use of Teargas and chaos by Govt house Tue. Wasn't it because Youths from both sides were having a show down? For your info, eye witnesses saw when the first drama started at 8.15am as the house was about to start sitting when Hon. Bipi came into the Chamber and attacked Hon. Lloyd unprovoked, using the camera Tripod stand to whip him severely. This was caught on the CCTV cameras. Speaker, Hon. Amachree tried to intervene but saw as thugs supporting Hon. Bipi arrive at the gallery to aid the attacking Hon. Bipi. Hon. Lloyd 'had to escape. Gov. Amaechi was informed of the chaos at the Assembly and so he decided to go there himself to calm things (afterall he is still the Chief Security Officer of the state). Gov. Amaechi arrived with his security details after calling the Commissioner of Police to inform him of the Chaos. The CP confirmed this on Radio that Amaechi called him. On siting Amaechi, Hon. Bipi asked his supporters to shoot him (Gov. Amaechi). On hearing this, Amaechi walked to him and asked, "shoot me?". Amaechi then asked his security to arrest him but the Hon. Bipi's security resisted it. Meanwhile, earlier, when the Hon. Bipi and his people had driven the other members away, they held a quick session using a new mace to impeach the speaker Hon. Amachree and chose Hon. Bipi as new speaker. When Hon. Lloyd saw a team of security support, he returned to the house Chamber and grabbed the new mace, using it to hit Hon. Ihunwo severely, retaliate the beating he had earlier received from the other faction members. Now, this was the video seen by many. Eventually, the house security was restored and a sitting was made by about 22 members, where Deputy Gov. Ikuru came and submited a budget adjustment. At this time, Hon Bipi, tried desperately to return to the chamber with his thugs but was denied by Security at the entrance, even the Deputy Gov. attempted but failed to calm him. Hons. Lloyd and Ihunwo were taken to hospital from were Lloyd gave the interview. The genesis of the crisis is the rift between Wike and Amaechi, which was worsened by the position of the first Lady on the Okrika Waterfront demolition. Even a blind man knows Amaechi has greatly developed the state and employed lots of Rivers youth, the problem is the extreemly greedy elders of some areas if the state who feel Rivers state money must be shared. They prefer to eat the future of their children today. That's why all the 5 anti Amaechi law makers are from same Senatorial district. Some have mentioned the Gov. as being arrogant but I keep asking what is the arrogance? That he said the Watersides MUST be demolished for school buildings? That he destroyed the fences of houses in GRA to restore the master plans? People cant even substantiate his sins to us. It is becoming increasingly difficult to remove Amaechi so all parties must let peace reign now. |
Something is definitely wrong with your thinking faculty DESHCLONES. Did the Rivers state Gov. have anything to lose if he didnt make that donation? Yet he did so as people appealed to him. Do you know how much a state gov in Nigeria earns, how much more that of Rivers State. Who told you that money was from the state funds? But wait...what if its Rivers state funds? Doesn't saving the life of a Nigerian mean anything to a heartless individual like you? Imagine if OJB were your blood brother, would you be here typing this irritating post? |
area!!.....i got 2pairs ooo...will post d pix soon
Bros, post them fast!!! This is hot! |
Mekky2010: Its Umuigbo and NOT Rumuigbo, time to stop/correct all these unnecessary misspellings in PH..The post is correct in its spelling. It is an Ikwerre word and not an Igbo word. However, this Obiwali Road in Port Harcourt also has the WORST POWER SUPPLY regime in PH. 3 hrs is max power supply in any 2 days. Gov. Amaechi and Comm for Power, Hon. Austin Nwokocha seem to have sworn to have nothing to do with that area, except during election campaigns. |
Well, going by the meaning of a Cosmopolis I would say the order is thus; 1. LAGOS - Just about everyone and everything is represented in lagos. Lots of Non Nigerians too. 2. PORT HARCOURT - There is no tribe not well represented in PH. Average cab driver is Yoruba, almost all car/parts dealers are Igbo and Hausas have several scattered settlements all around PH. The average Restaurant is managed by Efik/Ibibio. 3. ABUJA - Abuja has an almost equal dose of all the above but also a large presence of the original dwellers and Hausa language is strong in certain places. |

Rossikk: Oh God. Another dumb commentator. For your information there are many areas enjoying over 20hrs power supply daily, and have been doing so for months. As for telecoms, they've gotten a LOT better, and the only way is up. Now shut up and go do your laundry. It seems you are one of the problems Nigeria has. Your folly is obvious from your denial of the truth. I ask again, where in Nigeria is power CONSTANT? Does having 20 hrs of light in 3% of the country and having the rest 97% in 20 hrs blackout amount to constant power. The very day people like you wake up from your deep slumber and begin to tell yourselves the truth and challenge those in authority without fear than Nigeria will begin to progress. Corruption has many faces. Denying it also amounts to corruption. Nigeria can have constant power if we tell ourselves the truth about how bad the situation is first. We can have constant power if we REALLY want it. |
thelastPope: Many parts of Nigeria are already enjoying constant power supply so I don't know what you are talking about.People like you are the singular reason that Nigeria seems to be in perpetual disrepair. Where in Nigeria have you seen constant power? Does privatization simply mean constant power? Are MTN, GLO, etc not private? So do we enjoy flawless connections? The companies to run the new power projects are they not all owned by same corrupt nigerians? Who checks who? You need to wake up and start being truthfull and stop deceiving people. It is only the next generation of leaders who understand what constant power is and who are hell-bent on stamping out corruption that can take this country there. |
tomakint: Hold your Governor responsible, there is improvement of light in my areaWhich Governor...Amaechi that made all the promises of constant power by Dec 2012? Around Obiwali Rd, Rumuigbo and Mgbuoba, it is an impossibility to get even 3hrs of light per day! Only Govt. house and areas where Govmt officials reside get regular power. |
I guarantee that what this man has succeeded in doing is making the battle for the emergence of the APC Presidential Candidate FIERCER. |
RedMossy, it makes a great read. Imagine Presido sleeping on bowler hat!!! Kept me reading and wanting more. The augmented piece by Foxy was very hilarious, although needed some censorship. DON'T LET THE GIFT WASTE. More Alomo and Agege Garri to you. |
Lashawnah: Bank queue;Hmmm...no, wow! Didn't know we had ladies with beautifully humorous minds. Well done dear.
Girl, you no try try na attempt you did the main the main i love this beautiful I no fit write but I wan try small, hopefully the master, you, has inspired me well enough Pretty behind Firmly held up with adipose Aggressively crafted with beauty She shifts and turns in front of me Pfff! I catch sound of it A lethal gas emission The one called sbd It lays Silent But Deadly Like a Mamba it unfolds So beauty does kill I gag, my eyes swell The queue behind me Now as empty as my wallet "What is the matter?" she preteniously turns to ask I open my mouth to speak Foolish move More of the fumes gain access to my lungs I fall to the cold tiled floor The frozen hands of death pulling me to the safety of the Underworld Awesome appendage to what Lashawnah began RedMossy. Pls ppl, dnt let this waste. |
Well, asides Government House and Trans Amadi Gardens where Gov Amaechi and Commissioner for power stay respectively, no area in PH enjoys good power supply. This is after all the Billions earmarked for power and promises made by both men of 24hrs power by Dec 2012. Obiwali Rd, Mgbuoba, etc all have less than 2hrs of power per day. LIARS in Government! |
Gov Amaechi and his Commissioner for power, Hon. Nwokocha are the unholy pair in Rivers state. They had shamelessly and repeatedly lied to the state that by end of Dec 2012 there was going to be regular power supply. Till date, this is still a mirage. Obiwali Road Rumuigbo, Mgbuoba, Iwofe Rd, etc. only get max of 3hrs light every 2 days. The only areas that enjoy considerable power are the places govt officials reside, Old GRA, Trans Amadi Gardens and Govt House. Their excuse is that "we dont have mandate to distribute power". Didn't they know so when they went on air promising the unknown? Its a shame. |
Donald Duke as President, anybody from the North can be his vice just for fairness. Duke's legacy still speaks today. Calabar is the most visited destination in the country at xmas and by far the neatest city till date. I'll vote him any day. |
Guy, better put ur price else no one will give a second look. |
kpencheruwe: ilegitimate kids all over the place! hmm na wao. There is no such thing as "ilegitimate kids", rather there are ilegitimate parents. |
Well, fuel subsidy in Nigeria has been proved to be a huge joke. There has never really been a subsidy, period. This N75 claim has always been feasible, however, it takes only a commited country to get serious about stamping out greed and corruption and realise such prospects. |

Guys, a friend needs a clean car. His budget is 350k, and needs prefarably, a BMW or Benz, however, any other good car option with AC is welcome. Thanks |
All reliable peeps in the house, a friend needs a clean ride on a budget of 350k, prefarably a BMW or Benz, however, any other good option with AC is welcome. |
booqee: A guy and a girl were taking a walk on a 1st date.Rubbish! Already asking for cash ON THE 1ST DATE. Typical naija babe mentality. |
That alone should wake the corpse!!! |
Can't understand why the Black woman can't see the beauty in her own nature. It all started when our ladies only saw beauty in the looks of a White lady and has since been brainwashed never to see herself as beautiful. How come there is no White woman who wants to look black and wear Afro? because they are ok with their looks and have good self esteem. It's high time our Black ladies began creating bold statements with their African Weaves, Dreads, etc and try exporting those. |
How neat is this car? How much and how do I call u? |
guys I am looking for neodymium magnets, any ideas? Thanks.
This is clearly not a thread for this subject matter. What really do you need them for? Anyway, contact me if you still need them cos I have lots of N52 and N45s. |
