Romance / Re: Does Marriage Really Bring Blessings As We Have Been Made To Believe? by livingseed: 9:53am On May 21, 2021
Take anything in life: being fit, being able to master an instrument or write a book - none of it comes naturally. You have to work hard often when you don’t feel like it. Really no guaranteed blessing or curse associated with marriage but whatever the people involved make of it.

Education / Re: Will Nigeria Produce Tomorrow's Harvard? by livingseed: 10:36pm On Oct 20, 2018
Let me share a little of my own thoughts. The answer is simply yes probably due to the fact that any goal attacked with the right actions in the right amounts with doggedness is attainable. What I mean is that regardless of a few unexpected events, the right acts done to the right degree over time will produce a prototype of Harvard anywhere.

I also can assure you that for instance, if all Harvard students moved to a Nigerian University and vice versa, those Nigerian students now studying in Harvard for some reason will definitely not be able to keep, sustain and possibly innovate the Harvard narrative while their counterparts would of course I'm sure you know what they can create. I'm not trying to be a pessimist but that should clearly tell me something likely on where I should be wrapping my head which should be my focus. A focus on a type of system that builds upon itself, that is perpetual and doesn't happen only one time in one state or in a country.

Think of it this way in business terms: You don't start a business, you ARE a business.

I must sincerely appreciate each and everyone that contributes to my heart pouring grieve, your advice...

Additionally, let me recommend that for any project you may want to get involved with, you need to try not to underestimate the time, energy, effort and money necessary to bring your project to the point of success because when you incorrectly estimate what it takes to do something, you will have quit or failed in your mind, face and presentation. You won't develop the persistence necessary to get your mission accomplished.

However, when you correctly estimate the effort necessary, you will assume the appropriate posture. The forces will sense by your actions that you're a higher force to be reckoned with and are not going away— and it will begin to respond accordingly. Best of luck.

Education / Re: The Worst Three Federal, State And Private Universities In Nigeria by livingseed: 5:02pm On Aug 30, 2018
Worldwide, tertiary methods for instilling or distilling roughly anything beneficial to human living are almost always very costly let alone from a production source like that of Nigeria. That's the reason.
Family / Re: Man Writes On How Some Families Have Destroyed Marriages Of Their Loved Ones by livingseed: 6:49am On Jul 20, 2018
People who marry from same tribe or religion still get depressed, have social problems, are often greedy, still feel unhappy and all the rest.

"You're making a mistake!" they say.

On what? It's obviously not going to provide any special real fullfillment or permanent closure to marriage issues.

It's very unwise to glorify religion and tribe.

This is just sick. Paedophiles should not be given ANY RIGHTS. Peds should be executed as soon as they're caught. Period.

But this is America so they are released back into the general population. Nice huh?

The best way to fight off aggressors is to keep them from attacking you in the first place. To survive these days, there's great value in letting people know that when necessary, you can let go of your niceness and be downright difficult and nasty. A few clear impressive violent demonstration that fighting you is not really worth it.

You do yourself a great disservice when you bait yourself into thinking that because you're a Christian, all your problems are solved or all the problems you will ever have are addressed in the bible. They are not.

Having a problem simply proves you're human. We all have problems and you're not different if you're wrestling with a dilemma.

Op, There will always be individuals who are self-absorbed— christians or etc, but unless they're actually catatonic, they are rarely totally in that state all the time.

Business / Re: Why Most Uneducated People Are More Successful In Business - Johnspeak Uwangue by livingseed: 4:05pm On Dec 18, 2017
greypencils:
The major key to success in business or indeed any other endeavour in life is FOCUS. you FOCUS ON ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY TILL YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL AT IT.

I support you about "focus" but I differ on your focus on one thing and one thing only theory because that was the mantra of management teachers seventeen years ago, focus on your core competence but today, you need to do more than your areas of core competence.

You see in the 20th century which ended 17 years ago, it was profitable to follow this advise- be reasonable and focus on one thing only. To follow the footsteps of your father, my father was a teacher, I also want to be a teacher, mummy is a caterer, I also must be a caterer. There were so many things that were reasonable, core competencies for example. I just want to be a banker and that's just what I want to be. All of those reason that was okay in the 20th century are no more reasonable in the 21st because the dynamics are different.

Unfortunately, we are in a very unusual century. Life in the 21st century is the age of unreason, the age of paradox and the age of perfect variations.

To be successful and prosperous in this generation, one might just need to be multifaceted. Science, arts, commerce, politics, ICT, family etc etc. It's really a variety of skills not just one thing.

Lastly, Perfect education means finding a golden mean where your blows count but does not wear you out. Over education will wear you out likewise under education.
Romance / Re: Should A Guy Ask About A Woman's Past? by livingseed: 3:50am On Dec 06, 2017
Well, If you ask her in the right way - she'll tell you. At least I would.

AND, She also has a right to not tell you a thing about her past. You can either take your chances or walk away.

BUT, if she does choose to discuss it and lies to you, that seems like a serious problem to me.

You are normal. Just be careful about extended periods in the dark. About falling ill and the rest, your immune system/mind could be weak so try make an attempt to build it up.

Romance / Re: Can A Guy And A Girl Be Just Friends? by livingseed: 6:27pm On Nov 18, 2017
Yes, mature men and woman can be just friends. If you can not be just friends with someone from the other gender you need to grow up.
Romance / Re: What's Going On? 14yr Old Girls Now Look Matured Than Their Mothers by livingseed: 3:19pm On Oct 17, 2017
Yea, it's been scientifically accounted for, I believe. Something to do with hormones in food or something to do with Testosterone and Estrogen just in different proportions. One of the amazing things about the human body is that it has a tendency to want to balance itself. If you put to much of one into the system, the system will produce more of the other to mantain that balance so the end result is this odd hormone imbalance that results in earlier puberty.

Nice. Someone i was supposed to look after passed on in my care...( So, it's not money-induced depression ), and since then i've been heavily depressed.

Somehow I feel my last response was too simplistic or maybe mean for an answer. No vex bro.

First step to overcoming this anxiety is to share your problem with real people. Sharing it on a thread might not help much. If one is honest with someone about their feelings/pain I am sure they will sympathize with them and will appreciate his/her honesty. I bet even if you shared your social problem with the person you are most afraid of, his or her response will probably surprise you and you will have made a new friend. smiley

Yes I do plz

MY answer would be...

"Be contented and appreciative of what you have.

And always remember that, no matter how bad you think things are going in your life, there is always somebody in this world---more likely, thousands and thousands of souls--who would give anything to have your life."

How do ya like that? Better, huh?

Thanks

Well, I hope everything is alright now. Sounds like a complicated situation. By all means one need to keep learning how the universe really work, what the probabilities are, but recognise that it is statistical and that does mean not always predictably consistent.

The odds CAN be improved.

Are you afraid of death or killing the beast? Better give the beast the most painful death possible so you can reclaim your peace and comfort.
