Weep for Africa , we should weep not for ourselves but for our generations unborn that will inherit the fruit of our shameful actions today .

An Another typical example is the mass exodus of these people from their own homeland to the same land where poverty and backwardness abounds yet we haven't seen our Niger Delta youths travelling to Lagos to become truckpushers the way Northerners are arriving here in their hundreds willing to do any menial job for peanuts.

Yes, you can twist it anyhow you like. That's where complexity comes in. It's risky, though, because you'll always have to make it even. If you start with three you must add another three to balance it. But just so you don't make a mistake, two is advisable.

Very good! Lemme explain, using some lines in your verse as example.

The first bar:

I'm sure you wanted to do four syllables here but the starting rhymes 'whacker/weaker' don't rhyme. It's not a must that every word in the syllables must rhyme but always ensure that the first and the last do; you can slant those in the middle. No problem about that.



Due to the way you kicked off, I assumed you adopted the two-line scheme, but you derailed here when you couldn't end the 4th line with a word that rhymes with ways/bae/ and away - the 4th's end rhyme is 'all' which doesn't match with the scheme. Even the "all" doesn't really rhyme with "burn". Burn can go with "learn/yearn/earn/turn/spurn", etc.



Two things went wrong here: you did five lines, which is odd and the "exams" in the middle doesn't rhyme with the rest.
Aside these, you did a very good job and I'm Funlord is satisfied with the way you executed his topic. Kudos, bro.

Just as Funlord said, there's no way Heinzekido could have survived this. He saved himself the humiliation by pulling a no show. Lekan's verse is direct and almost perfect, I'd only advise him to polish his multies next time. Llaykorn is in my top ffavourites to win the KOP.
