romania residence permit is the easiest in all eu countries so Nigerians are not prostrating for it.
for the fact that lots of Nigerians engage in marriage of convenience with romanians is not a yard stick that their P is better than naija P they are just lucky,they become member of the EU cos of their geographical location because they were entering EU countries illegally and all effort to stop them was abortive so they had to grant them an EU membership.
if Nigeria happens to be in the same position where isreal is today on the world map, maybe the EU head Q would had been situated their.

I dont really think that you wont be giving stay when you get married to a Cypriot or EU Memeber. Upon you marriage, you will be given two 5yrs stay after which you will get you Pali when both Couple has successfully cohabitted together for three years.

man u are telling me from what you are readin, i am telling you from my experience cos i lived in Cyprus for over 2yrs, i got married in Cyprus and i think i have a first hand experience about this,so believe whatever i say.
if you get married to an eu citizen, u will get your residence after 2yrs if u are very very lucky.( even though eu law says u should get your residence within six months)
the worse of all is if you are married to a Cypriot, u are like a slave believe me, i know what im saying.

but to be honest with you, language is not a prerequisite for you to be granted a citizenship. law is law and it cant be swept aside because all EU countries signed the memorandum before it bcame a law. but also if u dont have an evidence to show that u had been living in ur wife country for these 3yrs (e.g working or studying, hospital visit, library visit) it might not be granted.
