MyVILLAGEpeople:Did you read what I wrote? |
Midas01:Correct. |
For years now I've been on this forum and I'm just finding this out now. I updated my profile, all I did was add a statement to the signature and after that every commenter with a signature written in profile the signature seems to appear below their comments. First thought it was a glitch but after checking, seems it's a feature. Quite interesting. I wonder what else I don't know about Nairaland. |
doggedfighter:So saying underaged should dress decent is now hypocrisy? I know you'd want them wearing only panties to school right? For the record, it's Holy inside, dangerous outside. Check for reference. Thank you. |
doggedfighter:I said go one side. You're the one not telling yourself the truth, since you now have a problem with underaged decency. |
doggedfighter:Madam go one side, with your immorality mentality. |
adding the picture to a comment makes it more funny. Everybody loves a good laugh and that picture portrays it. |
People continue to talk "military rule", calm down. If there was a time that Nigeria can consider military rule it's definitely not now. We need a nationalistic and patriotic Nigerian citizens to have a Nigerian military rule, we don't have that. I prefer the system I can scrutinize, criticize and contribute to. |
fman:Nope, I am the Nigerian campaign Manager, Nairaland forum. |
Hhahhahha. Ok, let's talk objectively. 3 months, that's how long since parties concluded their primaries. Right now in the streets, in the market places, among youths, online, "objectively" tell me who's the most talked about presidential candidate in Nigeria today. Go on I am waiting.... Let's be objective and honest. Three months ago I didn't know which candidate to go for. Three months ago my plan was to leave this country by next year, now I am planning a future here, you know why? I saw one person that gives me some hope. Objectively? A vote for Tinubu is a vote for Atiku, a vote for Atiku is a vote for Tinubu. Peter Obi is the consensus candidate here. The North will vote Peter Obi. How do I know? States like Plateau, Benue, Taraba, Southern Kaduna(where I am from), Southern Bauchi, Christians in Niger State, Kogi, Gombe, Bornu, Adamawa, Nasarawa, etc are voting Peter Obi. Without rigging, objectively speaking? Peter Obi is winning this election. All polls say so. Buhari has won all online polls in 2015, same with Obi now and that should tell you alot. The question is not, "which State Obi will win". It should be, "which State won't Obi win". The elections has gone beyond tribal now, objectively. |
If I am going to vote a Presidential candidate I am voting one who I can listen to, one I can ask questions cos they're ever available, ready to listen, act and articulate their policies to the average man. People with a policy and manifesto. If Peter Obi where not in this Presidential race, I'd go for the SDP Presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo. After Peter Obi this man seems to be the most VOCAL, open and engaging. I'd rather a man who research and crams information than ones who can't say jack. |
seunmsg:But that is not an official gathering, I don't think that is an important meeting. |
iamwilliamsfx:To do what really? I hunger for enlightenment. Should afflictions rise again? Aren't we tired with the one in Aso Rock already? |
iamwilliamsfx:But if baba is that old, why doesn't he retire and rest? |
I mean, if there is one person that seems to be engaging the most and appearing everywhere needed, it's Peter Obi. But why hasn't he ever dozed off like our old Baba, Emilokan? Doesn't he get tired too, I wonder! Just asking.

thank you for this, I am inspired. |
aariwa:Your observations are sharp, you are wise. |
can it charge a laptop? |
Short lady, you made me laugh. But thanks for the advise. |

Well, I can't help noticing that I as an individual can post what I want, the way I see right by me. But our very own Nairaland owner can't even cough, even on twitter, and people will either import it here or "drag" him there as "you the Nairaland owner....". Why's that? Can't he support who he wants in peace? He's an individual with an opinion, if he wants Tinubu I think it's all good. I used to think He, Seun, was just a personality that doesn't even exist, the real "owners" of the forum wanted anonymity so they created the identity as a cover up. Seeing his activities now put an identity to the individuality, which is interesting. Sowori, the owner of Sahara Reporters is a Presidential aspirant. Why can't our man. Or isn't he a private citizen? |
godliman:Man of God youthful delinquency, that's what. It was Buhari who made statements in 2011 that caused crisis in Kaduna state after he lost. We were affected. We forgave him and I supported him against a fellow Christian. But I refuse to be a part of the fraud APC and PDP are presenting now. |
Firstly, I think he is the most listened to man in Nigeria today. But my problem is: What wrong with us in Nigeria? I mean, I was fanatical about Buhari pre 2015 elections, I had a problem with anyone who had a problem with him. Buhari didn't really have anything to offer but we just wanted "change". We fell for falsehood as clear as day, lies as promises. I didn't really care what Buhari said, I just wanted him. Maybe cos of my regional affiliations with him? But now taking out time to really listen to Peter Obi speak, I hear and see someone different. He speaks like an informed appointed Minister, more of, eager and ready to serve. This is someone who has done and continue to do his home work. This is not someone who just want to be President just as an ambition but one who think and believes he has solutions and is willing to learn the more and listen, as he said. If I can look beyond Buhari's many bad records, even refusing to heed the warnings of my grand parents, who know him, and still surpport him. Why can't we all give Peter Obi a chance? Come on, let's deviate from these older and obvious crooks and try this other guy. You say he lies, prove it! You say he stole, show me where!! If not drop the tribal pressure and do the right thing. |
Perfectman91:That mitchel is a lady, don't be deceived. |
Axis313:Baba I tell you, I myself have never heard something like this. And I really love the stuff oh! |
Am always literally afraid to enter this wunna food section cos of what my eyes will see. I love food very much but limited by what I can cook. So to avoid the work of trying to cook everything I see, I run. Today I come with boldness, and loving what I am seeing to the extent my nose smells what my eyes is seeing. Isn't it incredible? Now I am huuungry! |
Honey. Sweet stuff, love it but can't eat it. |
Enskynelson:Thank you. |
