Godoverevery:You mentioned your dad struggling beside you but it's only your mom you're giving the credit to, for praying and crying? What about the man's active efforts and prayers too? You are a man, let's learn to appreciate the efforts of men in our lives, so that it can be done to us too. Thank you. |
techWriter3:hows my performance ? On a scale. |
Come on Nigerians. The most popular argument is that because in the North polygamy is wide spread, one man can marry at least four women. All women can give birth to about five or more children each. Then automatically it means there are more people in the North than South. No! No!! A big fat NO!!! That is how the average person assumes it. But that is not how population is estimated. Instead; Population can be estimated by how many children a single woman gives birth to in a location. Not the children from men but the women. One man having twenty wives with a hundred children is the same as twenty men and twenty wives having a hundred children. count it from the woman's angle. The incubator. I have nothing against polygamy. Yul Edochie, I celebrate. If you say women up North marry at a more tender age, well, women down South begin to bear children outside marriage with even unmarried men. A man can keep giving but there is a limit to what a woman can take at a time irrespective. It's not about the amount of seed you have for planting but the amount of it a land can take at a time. Make ehn no go chock con no even produce anything at the end. Indian men marry multiple women while Chinese marry one wives each but China has the most population. Far abodve Iran and Pakistan, who marry multiples of women. So also Ethiopia to an extent, in comparison to Somalia and Sudan with multiples. Instead, you can also check the mortality rate of the Children being born. The North is not breading like rabbits. The North is breading like every other Nigerian, just a different approach towards the same end. Thank you. |
DOTian:Well, I don't agree with that assertion. The Igbos need to build allies and stronger ties and relationship with other Nigerians. The South West will ever crawl to the North for alignment at the expense of there fellow Southerners. Who are you aligned with? Don't hastily repeat the mistakes of old, for those who fail to learn from history are bound to repeat it. Think first and strategize, don't repeat the flaws of Ojukwu. |
Pls people, am just coming out of a suspension. No insults here. Thank you. |
The injustice most stop. They are Nigerians too and they deserve a chance to lead the nation too. If Igbos finally leave Nigeria the minorities and Christians will suffer in the hands of the North in aliance with the South West. |
I start like this. 2015. The then President Jonathan contested for a second term against current President Buhari. Most of the North and South West voted President Buhari while most of the South East and South South went for President Jonathan. And it was more of a fifty-fifty in the Midde belt states. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is from the South South. But Up till this very moment the Igbos have continued to be at the receiving end of most of the punishment for the 2015 and previous elections against Buhari. It doesn't end there. For as long as I can remember, if there is any crisis that involves another tribe the Igbos are almost always attacked. case in point, virtually all the crisis in Kaduna and plateau states the Igbos most be attacked by the antagonists. Why? Why are they attacked by the ruling party in Osun State? Why did Tinubu leave his major opponents and their party but attacks the LP and Obi. even Seun, without confirming a guy's tribe attacked him as Igbo. I, as well as many here are automatically called Igbo and Ibop jus cos we stand with Peter Obi. Is it because they represent Christianity in Nigeria? Well well well!! Let all well meaning Nigerians and Christians also stand in defence of these people because they will do the same for every other person or group. I know this cos as a Northern minority I've seen Igbos stand by us in times of strife and injustice. You all witnessed a snippet at Banex, Abuja some months ago. Even though the security guy is a minority they defended him and took the battering from the government. It is about to get even worse if Peter Obi wins or even losses (God forbid). It is time to also stand by these people, well meaning Nigerians. Thank you. |
Newton2024:Sadly you are right. There is a way out. |
Moh247:Mr, your analysis is wack and filled with lies. I will tell you why in my next writing. |
I have made it my duty to deeply study people, analyse and draw conclusions about them in about thirty minutes of interacting with them. With the ability to study an individual properly you can know alot more about the person's group, society and by extension race. If Buhari where to come out for a third term he will win in the North, without rigging. If you know something about individuals you will know that the more desperate a people are the more they are likely to follow their natural instincts, thereby making the same mistakes as before. Tribe. Ethnicity. These two phenomenas are deeply rooted in our psyche. And because of that I say Tinubu will win about the entire states in the South West. As for the Northern side, well, currently the North is like a severely wounded animal gasping for breath. Buhari has disappointed them so much it might be had to rally the masses around a particular candidate, let alone one from somewhere else. But there is almost nothing money can't handle. Tinubu is to the South west what Buhari is to the North. A living breathing mini Messiah. You don't ignore that. As for the other Southern and middle belt states.... those areas will continue to do what they've been doing, have sex, watch foreign matches and go to Church then come back on Sunday evenings to visit bars, brothels and night clubs. **** The South West will rise because they are offered those two Achille's heel: Tribe. Ethnicity, in the person of "Jagaban Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu". |
Oilwell:Baba we are watching. But what can we do? |
Wether you believe it or not Peter Obi has started something even he might get overwhelmed about. He is challenging the status quo. I mean we are seeing for the first time someone who's not running helter skelter, voyaging around Nigeria trying to rally support from oligarchs and elites, but someone trying to please and show the masses he is capable, picking a younger and truly intelligent running mate. Who ever says the sickly old farts are not threatened is lying or blind. Atleast even the blind can see this one coming, or rather hear it. Propaganda and name assassination is one way they plan to use to malign and undermine him. And since they can't find any controversial statement or actions against him they will invent and invest in them, using non other than his so called supporters. Easy! Peter Obi has a lot of supporters now that we don't know who's who. Example: "A guy made a video of himself claiming to be an Obi's supporter, holding a gun and threatening anyone who votes for the other contenders". Classic. "Peter Obi is an Ibop and violent" Who does that? impersonators do. Why!!? To malign and undermine. I mean even Rino Omokri the ass-kissing self acclaimed best selling writer can't write anything against the man so he atttacks him and his surppoters, wait for them to reply and then goes out crying like a baby to whoever cares to listen. well, Mr Omokri is a political business man who knows where the money is at. And it's definitely not with Peter Obi. And that is how they hope to campaign. Not by telling us what they're good for but infiltrating Obi's supporters and selling lies to the ever hungry media. And coming back to the masses with slogans like "emilokun". |
Firstly, the only option in the upcoming elections, the most transparent youngest and fit contender from the South and throughout Nigeria is Peter Obi. We know that much. But.... As a Northerner, Southern Kaduna, there's a sentiment that has always lingered in the north about the Igbos of Nigeria. We were always made to believe the Igbos are the problem of Nigeria, because of the civil war. We grew up literally taught to distrust and hate the Igbos. And I am from a very deep Christian family, as are many Southern Kaduna people. Those sentiments and prejudice are, little we know, directed at, and has grown root even against everybody that's non Hausa/Fulani or more specifically the Fulanis. That's why they are at the top of leadership positions in Nigeria even with a population of less than ten percent, using the ever gullible Hausas and other northerners to cruise to victory always and everytime. With absolutely no'ting to show for it. Absolutely. Those sentiments lives and have breath even in the South, and among fellow Christians. How will Peter Obi break that strong and pungent unjust status quo? Even among people you think should know better. I say it might be easy for a black man to become president of Russia than an Igbo man being President in Nigeria. We hate and distrust them that much. And you say they should be pleased? I support Obi cos I know first hand what it means to be marginalized, after writing JAMB four times, cruising through but still not getting admitted cos of my name, religion and origin. And every Southerner and Christian in Nigeria will taste that soon. Tinubu has just cemented that phenomena. He has proven to his "Masters" he is very loyal and acknowledge their supremacy. Hey, on another thought, how imperative and important are the Southerners and Christians in the Nigerian scheme? We'll see, we'll surely see! |
Maybe it's cos of the political climate, guys now talk more about politics than romance or women. I think she should calm down till after the elections. Men are distracted now. Even Reno Omokri doesn't talk about women again, it's always " Peter Obi is responsible...." as if he has turned gay. And politics section is far more active and engaging now than so called "romance section" |
And so it begins. Instead of campaigning their own they decide to be obsessed with another. |
Somebody wake Sanusi up. Time to come out of retirement, good men never retire from service. |
Wow!!! After much searching and brainstorming I and the guys decided this is the best man for the job. His brief bio: He is 60 years old. A Kano state indigene who got his master's degree from ABU and subsequently became the CBN governor from 2009 to 2014, making a lot of banking reforms before being suspended for exposing a 20 billion dollars scandal. He was also a former Emir of Kano who was also sacked for speaking against the failures of both the state and federal governments. He does not keep quiet in the face of evil and injustice just to keep his job, which is proven by his getting sacked twice in a row for his courageous and selfless service to Nigeria and Nigerians. By now you already know who I am talking about.... he is Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, courageous, intelligent, strong, fare, and a patriot. He is the best the North has had since Tafawa Balewa. They both match I think perfectly. Obi/Sanusi for president and vice president. NOTE: My suggestion.

LeoDeKing:Go on am waiting.... |
On Twitter Seun Osewa was talking down on a guy for "being an Igbo boy who only supports Igbo candidate". First off, there are many of us who are not Igbo but support Peter Obi. Tagging the movement an Igbo project is too stale and old. Secondly. The Igbos are the most patient and Democratic People In Nigeria. The CIA survey puts them as the second largest ethnic group in Nigeria but since the civil war they have been completely sidelined in the Nigerian political sphere. Still, after Nigeria's return to democracy they have consistently supported virtually all the regions of Nigeria for the presidential seat. Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Goodluck Jonathan, Atiku, Saraki, even at the expense of their own. Nairaland owner doesn't know what he's saying. Just because they refused supporting Buhari and Tinubu they have turned to the enemy? Atleast a half brained person has seen the disaster Buhari is. A half brained person will know to be careful with the other disaster struggling to come, with his only mantra being "It is my turn!" Your turn to what? Loot? Cry baby! No it's not. Sit down one side fess, your too old And crooked. If there is anyone that should complain of tribalism it's them. Nigeria has not moved an inch since independence, maybe it's cos we need something, someone different. Oh I have a Suggestion!! Peter Obi?

Come on, which support! 2015. Buhari came like a tsunami. Sai Baba, sai Baba!! We all shouted in one voice, all over Nigeria. Most would have agreed Buhari's statue should be put in place of the the Lady Justice. Integrity, Change. Those are what Northerners and by extension Nigeria expected from Buhari. 2019. By now "Change" has been achieved and everybody has gotten tired of the kind of change they saw. People wanted him off but some believed second term is the charm. Still, Northern votes was more divided cos people were tired, bemused and hungry. That popular Hausa singer even sang a song against Buhari. 2022. Nobody under heaven want to even hear "Sai Baba". You might get beaten for mockery if you say such in some places in the North. When did you even hear that chant last? The hunger and zeal the North had for Buhari has now almost turned to disdain. APC has become synonymous to disaster and suffering now. If Atiku thinks he will find it easy here he is in on a big surprise. Where is the zeal, where is the hunger? "Vote for Atiku because he is a Muslim". Where? How? Atiku has always enjoyed support and solidarity with the South especially South East. That's almost zero now. Same with the North. He should be ready to hustle and struggle well for those votes. He should open those flood gates of cash he has stashed cos even the North is getting wise now. Many don't even know who to go for. Atiku Will Not Inherit Buhari's Northern support because Buhari has no support now. If he uses that for campaigns it will back fire negatively. Is it the same people that can't wait for him to leave that office? People will celebrate Buhari's exit the same way we celebrated his entry. That's why an Obi/Kwankwaso merger will see another 2015 in 2023. |
Eyaaah! This man has done a lot for this country, even at his age his heart still bleed for what's going on in the country today. A true patriot and statesman. Unlike that scared coward Yakubu Gowon. My grand father forth in the civil war and because of his stories I grew up loving Gowon, but now that am grown and seeing him quite in the face of such disaster in this times I see him as the biggest coward among Nigerian founding fathers. |
Reading what those men wrote makes me feel like vomiting just thinking about women. Thank God I have nothing to do with them. |
Truthisunique2:Never, I repeat never reply that person. She is very unwell. Take my advice and save your life. |
Wow, I love the landscape in the first picture. |
Belial06:Let's keep the message on repeat. Thank you. |
Belial06:Non taken. Help preach the message. |
Belial06:But I am not Igbo! |
Firstly I am not Igbo. When we were little we used to put grains of guinea corn for birds daily at the front of our house to catch birds. Over time our house became a junction where birds would settle during the day before moving on in the evenings, we became used to them we don't struggle to attract them any more. Political campaign is the same. You don't brag and shout, chest beat and threaten. Someone said one of the reasons why an Igbo can not be President is because they are always angry. Nigerians are always angry. Peter Obi's name is spreading, I don't think an Igbo has ever been this popular, even at this level. Which is good, very good. And he is just beginning. I have never heard Peter Obi's name attached to any controversial statement. He is a smart man, and consistent also. Some of us non-Igbos are finding it a little bit difficult selling him further cos of your overzealousness. If you don't know how to sell market ( in an Igbo man's voice) don't join the business. After the Igbos' stance on President Buhari and even Joe Biden, I have come to respect there judgement. Calm down, drink some water and enjoy the show, we will get there. |
Danwakae:What do you mean hate speech? Did you condemn the killing of Deborah? When I read the news I was devastated, I felt as if she was my sister. It was then I knew Northern minorities can not handle another decade like this. Does your name mean beans owner, do you sell beans? |
Yamiriflathead:I am not even from the South. And Nigeria have given a Boko Haram spokesman a chance at presidency, why not an Ibop, or a drug lord? |
Let us agree, the north loves violence and impulsive bloodshed. They are so loyal to each other that they never condemn the wickedness and savagery especially if it's against other people. Take for example the Deborah Yakubu's case. Atiku's twitter manager posted a condemnation of the act and he asked him to delete it and then he went to apologize to the Northerners and deny the tweet. Atiku was also the "father of the day for Buhari's son's wedding". Check it, that is not the person that will reverse Buhari's disaster insted he will cover up and continue his own. I am all for Peter Obi but Peter Obi will be very limited in his campaign against Northern Bloodletting and aggression because all his hard decisions will be seen as a punishment and hate against the North. Take Goodluck Jonathan's time for example. Tinubu on the other hand, like Buhari, does not forgive or forget. He doesn't care what people think about his decisions as long as they are fine by him. MC Oluomo made a tweet criticizing and threatening the North. He is a very close and loyal henge man to Tinubu. He is saying something being talked about in secret. For fairness a Christian Southerner should be the next President. But in the absence of that a southern one is still far better. |
Fayose says power most go to the South, that they will not accept a Northern candidate because it is not fair on Nigerians. He said even if Wike supports Atiku they will not accept it. Well, our politicians are like amoeba and chameleons, they change. On the flip side, some people are already jubilating that he and the rest will support Tinubu. Tinubu? How funny. Fayose supporting Tinubu is like making peace with Buhari and that is a no no for him any time soon. Is it the same Tinubu that doesn't give one f about what the South thinks and is busy trying his best to please the North for "block votes"? The same Tinubu that doesn't even bother rallying South Southern votes cos he's blinded by Northern "block votes", daring to pick Muslim-muslim ticket? Okay! He said nobody gives him money as a PDP member, that is to say he is either not after anybody's money or is, and Fayose is not FFK. What does Tinubu have to offer him that Atiku can't? Our politicians are like amoeba and chameleons, they change, but: Some people are about to have a rude awakening. It will not come from my mouth but you'll see, you'll see. |
